When it goes down are you able to find your miners on your router or access the status page?
Which pool are use using and do you have back up pools entered?
Can you move one somewhere else in your house and give it a try? ( different power outlet and/or ethernet cable)
Do you have a volt meter to check the output volts under load coming out of the PSU? I have a couple cheap digital LED volt meter hooked up to both my PSU’s and they show 12.2 and 12.3 on each S9.
Are your S9 the older ones that you can adjust the frequency or the newer ones that are auto? ( I have one of each and prefer the older ones.)
Are you showing the right hash rate for your miner when it is runnng?

I will be happy if we stay in the $15,000-17,000 range for the next 30 days as that will make for a stronger base, then we can start the climb higher.
I also agree with you, without some stable/stronger floor price is pumping like crazy in last few months. Haven't seen much correction till now and newbie are pouring money into bitcoin just after looking at its market trend. Bitcoin future might increase volatility of market but it might also add demand for bitcoin. They have to buy bitcoin directly form exchanges to get profit from their predictions on future. The action we are seeing the last hour or 2 is just what we need. Every buyer at this level helps build that floor. |

Derivatives arn't that important, especially if they are cash settled. The launch of the CBOE derivatives market had zero impact on the spot price. I agree! All a cash settled future is a wagered gamble. No different than a wager placed on a ball game. It will not change the outcome of the game. |

how about 3 reasons why Bitcoin will never reach $500.000 in the future ?
first of all we need to know what is Bitcoin itself and what is Bitcoin goal,mission and vision in the future ?
also what is the real problem/weakness that Bitcoin have currently ? and the impact caused by those weakness ?
many people only talked about how great Bitcoin is and it will reach this 'xxxx' in the future.
while right now many people could not send their Bitcoin or their transaction stuck.
do you think people will implement it in the future if we do not have anything to discover ?
how many dollars that we need to spend for every transaction that we will make ? are you sure they'll use it or implement it in their store ?
Do you really hate Bitcoin why are you here? This place is bitcointalk. He has valid points...remember one hand washes the other. There are some problems and that was the reason for the BCC fork. (I am a 4+ year miner and am holding long.) |

It seems the US stock market is way over due for a big correction.....just wondering if that happens if we will see some money leave stocks and move to Bitcoins?

I was in on Canarys first batch (2013) of the USB miners and spent 30 BTC for 15 of them and look back at my wallet now shaking my head....
also a few years back I wanted to show my wife that the Bitcoins had value so I paid for our Motel room thru Expedia ...spent .45BTC ...I guess that turned out to be a expensive room..LOL
The last coins I sold was when we hit $5000....so glad I held the rest of what I got. Not sure what I will do with my BCC once Coinbase releases them next month.

Futures were opened and the price went from $14,700 to $16,300 in just matter of minutes, i saw huge sell walls of more than 200 bitcoins, and huge buy walls of more than 50 - 100 bitcoins. The whole market is crazy right now Been mining since 2013 and will hold my coins. I don't see where the futures will help us other than give us some more legitimatize from the main stream. We will see what happens as they start in 5 mins...
I would not sell anything though, i will keep holding my bitcoins until i see a reasonable price, maybe twenty thousand dollars, or twenty five, i dont have weak hands right now. The good thing about all this is that the market is already proving extremely strong even before the whole future thing which would make it impossible to try any bullshit or manipulation. All the above, the future market is totally different and whatever they are doing is for their own pocket, but here in the crypto world, things are different and I am so optimistic that we are heading straight to the moon with the rocket being fast this time around. I will be happy if we stay in the $15,000-17,000 range for the next 30 days as that will make for a stronger base, then we can start the climb higher. |

Futures trading is just the beginning of bitcoin trading going more and more mainstream, in time exchanges will be accessible to almost everyone. I don't see how this can ever harm the price, I did consider that it may cause the price growth to slow but I am still more than happy with slow growth. I just don't see how it can be a bad thing as long as it's managed properly. At the end of the day bitcoin price is only decided by people, not anyone else.
