I had bought some bitcoins in late December when price was around $10K. I had put all of it to trade on some altcoins to get good returns. Now, I'm all in on Bitcoin Gold, I bought it at $110 which is down to around $26. Shall I wait for another bubble to build up or sell what I'm remaining with ?
As of now, the market is looking bad since it was down to $6k dollars, i highly prefer that you keep on holding your coins in order to avoid losing a huge amount of profit. |

Let's say you bought a bitcoin for $1000 in January 2018. <Just an example, not the real price at the time> So you have to beat inflation and also the performance of other investments to say that your Bitcoin investment was a better investment, than other alternative investments. Let's say your inflation is 5% and your best return on some other investment is %20 per year, then your Bitcoin price increase will have to be more than %25 to beat the alternative investment. Let's say you hoard for 5 years, then you would need a price increase of 125% to beat your alternative investment returns over 5 years. So we cannot have a price increase of 800% in year 1 and then a price decrease of %400 in year 2 and another price decrease of 200% in year 3 and so on... Hope you get at what I am saying. Hoarding might be harmful to your profits, if you do not cash out SOME profit on the ATH.  ..... You might end up with a bitcoin worth $100 in year 5.  In my own opinion, constant rise in bitcoins is not important because people also needs time to invest which is dumping of prices in the market so volatility is important in order for people to get a huge amount of profit. |

Is there any ending or not?
As long as there are people who are still interested on cryptocurrency bitcoins will just have a volatile market people will still invest even more so bitcoins will not come to an end even in the future. |

This year , upto now is not good for crypto investors. Value of the investment is far less than previous year. We saw last year BTC went pass 19k and now it is around 7-8k. Price of btc is fluctuating. Therefore alt price also not increasing. Every investors hope the recover of market soon. But it didn't happen yet. Some experts said that it will start on june. What do you think about this situation?
I think yes, it will start again soon because people are scared and yet there are also whales who are investing a huge amount so i think that there will be bullish statistics in the market soon before the year ends. |

If there are more fiat then the price in the market will be decreasing because the volume is high, maybe bitcoins will grow even more since because people can use more usd in their country to invest. |

On the other, this might be the nail in the coffin for Bitcoin as a currency. If everyone's investing through ETFs, no one will be trading actual Bitcoins.
the keyword is "everyone" which is never going to happen. in fact majority of people want to hold what they buy (by hold i mean have in their possession not hodl and never sell) which means they will always buy bitcoin directly and move it to their wallets to have 100% full control. using ETFs you would be using a third party and that's not bitcoin anymore. Yeah that's right. I don't think a lot of people are trading btc to usd directly since most trade alts to btc so i don't think that'll be much of an issue for majority of traders. It probably will make btc's value a little less volatile. In my own opinion, the market price will increase even more just like what happened last year, the volatility of the market will make the price of bitcoins to skyrocket again before the year ends. |

As what i have seen on the coinmarketcap.com for the market price for bitcoin that literally goes down to 6K usd is a good time to start the investment. I am waiting for this moment but still i need more money to invest on it. Well i hope i could get more money the following day so that i could invest in this time where bitcoin market price falls down.
If you did not have any good amount of capital to invest then the best thing to do is just work on bounty campaigns in order to earn cryptocurrency and start trading in the market. |

Some reasons I believe bitcoin is likely to rise next time
Bitcoin is dropping sharply from $ 20,000 down to about $ 6,000 by the end of 2017, but that's a lot more than $ 2500 a year ago.
Laws gradually intervene in the market, may form the law for crypto, institutional investors can peace of mind to invest in the market
Mt Gox is allowed by law to compensate bitcoin victims for a percentage, without the need for cash compensation, which could end the sale of large amounts of bitcoin.
How do you believe bitcoin will increase from now until the end of the year?
In my own opinion, cryptocurrency will rise if most of the people will stop selling their coins because the market price is depending on supply and demand so keep on holding your coins. |

I think bitcoin could well reach $2,000 - $3,000 if this $6,000 support get's broken. If you would sell now chances are high you could buy back and thus double your btc holding.
This is not financial advice, just a thought.
And this is not a good year for crypto I believe. Late 2019 we'll see some action.

The Bitcoin has the huge price last December 2017 . And the price suddenly changed this year. Many members and especially those active traders have been disappointed with the sudden drop in bitcoin price. That's why people are often comparing the price of bitcoin last year.
We can not predict the price of Bitcoin this year. It's too early to say that the cryptomarkets are not in depths and gradually returns into the light. So i'm still waiting what is the good news happen in this year.

Ever since bitcoin price started dropping, most of the threads i see here are : is bitcoin dying?, will bitcoin go green again?, should i hold or sell? etc. I laugh when i see such threads. Every business has a window of opportunity when the market is ripe to enter. This is the time to invest more in bitcoin. Every good investor see every dip as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin and hold. The weak ones see dips and they start to shiver; selling all their bitcoins, even including their altcoins. Please community members, the way we are handling this drop in bitcoin will scare new members from even investing in the coin which will cause a further decrease in the price and the unexpected might happen. Let's have a healthy discussion about our coin even in hard times, and it will attract more people to invest and eventually pump the price again. Friends what do you also think?

Can BTC technically survive under 6k?
This is close to a bottom where mining stops to be profitable, meaning that supply of BTC from miners would drop. How much supply comes from miners anyways? Is that meaningful in terms of price movement?
What if miners are not profitable? Does that make them stop and thus make BTC transactions less secure? Do they continue mining in hopes of future price raise?
What would be the psychological impact on traders if BTC goes under 6k? That is a huge resistance point and if it brakes how far can price drop? Last time it was more like a test to 5800 which recovered immediately.
In my own opinion, cryptocurrency or bitcoins will survive under $6k dollars because those big whales are just waiting for the price of bitcoins to dump its prices and they will start investing in order to earn more profit. |

Though a decrease is possible but $3000 seems way below the possible lowest limit for bitcoin. I believe bitcoin would never go below $5k for this century. Different might be the case after that. And it's higlhy likely for bitcoin to maintain a price between $10k-15k.
The $5000 price boundary is still on course, not yet broken but it couldn't maintain the $10000-$15000. A lot of analysis on price lately but most are done without regards to news which are previously considered. I agree that the boundary is $5k dollars because it was pumping again right now, the price of bitcoins will not decrease to $3k dollars because whales today are investing a huge amount so cryptocurrency will pump again soon. |

You do not have to be pessimistic or be afraid with this fall that bitcoin suffers, I read that by 2019 the price of bitcoin will reach 10K for this reason you have to be patient and not panic.
Bitcoins will manage to grow up again just like what happened last year so keep on holding your coins today because there are more countries this year who legalize cryptocurrency in their area so we can expect a higher demand in the future. |
