By taking these measures, Russia is trying to get along with cryptocurrencies & seems to be fully understandable in what concerns digital currency.

It's better to divide that big amount by several legit projects ( coins / tokens ) such as BTC, Eth, LTC...ect , it's more flexible to spread the investment .
A friend of mine told me about an American guy who did the same by using DCA ( dollar cost average ) strategy on weekly basis and he earned x20 times what he invested within one year  .
So it's always good to choose attentively in which coins to invest and combine it to the right strategy

It depends ( from person to an other ) on :
1) How much you can afford to lose & invest from what really you own ( not lent money )
2) how much the project is trusted ( you ought to attentively choose the project where you put your investment )

Eth did very well recently but I don't think it continues with such rhythm till the point of overtaking the market . Yes it has awesome features that can lead it to the leadership of the cryptocurrencies but I think we ought not to excessively underestimate BTC ( which keeps the first place since the birth of cryptos ) .

600 $ is a good amount to start with, but what I recommend is that you choose 3-5 coins that had considerable potential , among others, I'd nominate both Eth & waves , these two coins are really promising and can bring good return profits.

It's when someone /company distributes free token/coins and give'em to the community, often, it's required that you meet some criteria ( or let's say doing some tasks such as tweeting, sharing, messaging...) in order to be eligible to receive these free coins ( it differs from  project to another )

Your portfolio is sufficiently diversified (As it 's said : you picked a flower from each garden   ) "which seems to be well planned portfolio " but l'd highly recommand that you add to it BTC; because as you know, it has dropped enough & will go upper in the future .

I think waves will make good forward path this year, due to its own characters that allow it to advance to higher levels , it doesn't matter how slowly it goes, but I think it does worth it as it's for long term investment

It's according to the coin which is being mined ; if it's a promising alt , then miners won't leave it & continue working on even though it consumes a considerable energy amount and vice versa, if it doesn't worth it, automatically miners would stop mining it .

It largely depends on your plan ( long / short term investment ) but because you are newbie , I advise you to invest in known coins ( Eth , BCH, XRP...) These coins have potential to go up with less loosing risk . And remember to not put all the eggs in one basket : you can choose several coins to invest in , but the main thing you should do before starting such projects is READ, READ, & KEEP READING

D'un côté, c'est qlq chose positive pour le forum car ça sert à le nettoyer un peu des spammeurs qui n'ont que le but de ranker plus , mais d'un autre côté, ça va entraîner des blems tel que la difficulté d'acquérir un niveau plus haut même avec de bonnes publications ( si les gens ne te rajoutent pas des points merit )  ...
En tout cas, thymos à dit qu'il va tester cette option pour 1-2 mois puis il prendra la décision finale

في بادئ الأمر عندما تعرفت لأول مرة على البتكوين كانت محفظة البلوكتشين الأكثر شهرة و على هذا قد كانت أول محفظة استعملها ، لكن نظرا للإرتفاع الفاحش الضرائب على التحويلات اظطررت الى البحث عن بدائل أفضل ، و بعد بحث معمق توصلت الى محفظتي xapo & coinbase
و لا زلت استعملهما لحد الساعة
لكن مؤخرا يبدو لي أن هناك مشاكل في محفظة  (coinbase) خصوصا تلك المتعلقة بالخصوصية .
أعتقد أنه يجب على الانتقال الى المحافظ التي لا تستعمل الانترنت

I do not think so , I've deposited several times ( the last one was around 300k sat ) but the captcha did not disappear ... I think it falls in love with me lol

I think the impact on the crypto market won't be that big ( comparing it to 2014 my.gox ) coz the market capitalization is much bigger than what it was in 2014
But I am wondering about the safety of keeping our coins in exchanges , I think the risk always exists
