201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]🇨 Crypterium - Digital Cryptobank with Credit Token & Open Platform🇨 on: October 26, 2017, 12:42:00 PM
Just a couple of questions. I am very much considering buying into the ICO. I don't currently have any cryptocurrency or any wallets yet. Firstly are these required to purchase the tokens or can I use a debit card/bank transfer as stated on the website? If they are required does anyone recommend any easy to use cryptowallet apps/websites as most I search for seem to include some posts about scams or being very different to withdraw and access funds etc...

Thank you for the interest, Aaron. ETH-wallet is required anyway. Tokens are under standard ERC20, so to receive them you will need to send your ETH address to us. But you can pay for them any option supported by coinpayments.net or invoiced.com.

Create a wallet on blockchain.info — it's pretty easy to use and trustworthy.

Secondly, I understand each token is worth 0.0001 BTC, once the tokens go live on exchanges do they go their 'own way' or will they always be tied to the value of bitcoin? For example if bitcoin rises, will these tokens? Or will they be completely independent? Thanks

Aaron

Token price 0.0001 BTC is for ICO. After ICO they will go 'own way'. URL for pre-registration and deposit https://tokensale.crypterium.io/. Welcome!

Can Credit token be purchased through the exchange for other tokens and coins?

Thanks for your interest! Unlike CRPT tokens for ICO Credit token can be purchased through the internal Crypterium exchange only.

Ok, but why do you call it token too?

Credit token issue is blockchain-based. But this is not the same kind of tokens as CRPT. CRPTs are for the ICO, CRPT:CRED is one of our future banking services for lending.

So to get 25 token bonus, will 15$ deposit need to be deposited in fiat or any coin deposit with equivalent worth more than 15$ will suffice ?

Thanks for the question! We give 25 free tokens as a special offer to thank early birds for support. From today and till October 30th everyone can get 25 FREE CRPT tokens. You can do it as well—it’s easy as ABC. Just follow the instructions https://medium.com/@crypterium_io/how-to-get-25-bonus-tokens-for-free-e4fcfc15bf12

LendDoit is looking intereseting to my, i think its worth giving a look

The project is really interesting, but I can't find any details on ICO. Do they plan to launch it or it's ended already?

guts is good ico will beginning in november . its look good use ticketing platform safety to user

i hope can be success ico for guts in november

Thank you! Could you explain what's the problem with safety for user of ticket services? The problem, which could be solved by blockchain. We just don't see it

I don't think there is a significant problem which could not be solved without blockchain.

I agree with you mate, it's a real trap for enterpreuners befuddled with blockchain technology and easy money.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does everyone think of this ICO? (Newbie) on: October 24, 2017, 02:10:42 PM
Hello everyone,

I came across this article on cointelegraph today and it seems a great project. What does everyone else think? anyone got any advice for a new ICO hunter?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/crowdholding-co-creating-companies-to-success

thank you

I don't believe in customer development and focus group approach

I am a strong fan of Prosume.io
Check out their team and plans.
Also the regulatory framework (a Swiss non for profit foundation) fully complies with the most advanced interpretation of potential legal hurdles

They have sovereign fund managers on board, energy experts, Ernst and Young auditors and board members
Serious people

Thank you for suggestion. What do you think about the projects from our list?

It sounds like you're definitely going about things the right way. If you approach research like a full-time job, there's a lot of money to be made. Plus it sounds like you're heavily diversifying. Going "all-in" on a single project is rarely a good idea.

Good luck with your microfund!

Thank you! But why do you think all-in is better than diversification? Have you heard about evolution and natural selection? Grin
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia prohibits cryptocoins on: October 23, 2017, 06:46:37 PM
Russia will not ban cryptocurrencies, they are all heavy in crypto including putin. Thats for sure  Cheesy

So why do you think he can't decide to ban it in some own interest for example?
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 23, 2017, 05:59:18 PM
Why did you decide to stay away from ARToken? I think it's very promising and has low risk score according to ICOrating.com

Read the short comment about ARToken:

3 kinds of ICOs - Protect Yourself
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2243157.40  (page 3)

That's exactly the reason why we decided not to participate in ARToken and SpectivVR ICOs
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 23, 2017, 05:57:49 PM
In my opinion and research one of the potential ICO is Worldcore, The development of this company since 2013, they has more than 7,000 customer already.  And also team behind it very professional. Their goals also very interesting and their featured product is regulated payment institution with voice biometrics authentication.

Agree this one is interesting. We should review it again.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 23, 2017, 05:45:32 PM
I want to find the ICOs that are not going to have coin locked up in a concept project because the value lost due to moving funds out of BTC which is booming.

A number past ICOs I jumped in are either in the hole or ahead fiat wise. But not at all when you calc versus the BTC lost value.

So any projects coming that are going to be working businesses in the near terms?

Not sure I understand what you're looking for. Could you explain please?

An ICO which the promoting team claims is already a business would be Prosume.io.
Check out their team and white paper and stay in contact to please let me know what you think
I'm sort of very very attracted given the fact I work in the energy arena and can't but say that these guys know what their doing

Thanks for your suggestion, will look into it. What's your job on energy arena?
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 23, 2017, 05:44:32 PM
Okay what about Bitclave? I think this one is also good

I don't think it's good enough to invest. Even if they make hardcap it wouldn't be profitable.
I wouldn't invest in Bitclave. They delayed their ICO, that's a bad sign for me.

I don't think it is very bad to delay the start, but I agree about the product and its business model

We suppose it has scalability risks related to this point (wp, page 29):

Databases already on the market or any active community members willing to use their servers for content database hosting. The Cappasity content
database is one of the multiple members.

VR content needs unprecendent strage space and processing capabilities. We think that community of members can't provide it.

May I know the reason/s why have you decided not to participate in ICO which are related to Virtual Reality services and trading platforms? hrmmm Huh I want to know also some pointers on how to determine if the project is a scam or will not last longer because I already joined some of them. By the way, what can you say about gaming like Enjin and Gimli? Thank you.

Trading platforms need serious expertise AND especially regulatory set ups. The funds raised will be wasted quickly if not extracted. Gaming and VR are very interesting, but one has to find the right teams and serious backgrounds, which is necessary everywhere really. I am also not sure the size if the markets allows for so many simultaneous projects. So most will fail. I would focus on healthcare and energy especially. Have a look at Prosume Energy and Grid+

Agree about trading platforms. We believe in gaming and AR apps, but VR is not for nearest years. Prosume and Grid look good

Pally app - check it out https://pally.co, I think it is the most undervalued ICO currently being alive

Thank you, we've heard about Pally a lot. Why do you think it's undervalued?
