201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy KIN? on: March 29, 2018, 07:36:28 PM
Note the total supply...

10,000,000,000,000 KIN

That is 10 TRILLION tokens!!!
:O
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Convince me why ETH will reach back to $800-$1000 this year on: March 29, 2018, 06:32:11 PM
just leave crypto, leave this forum if your going to post something so negative op.  Its clear your not a believer.

My sentiments exactly...note that he also started the tread about "committing suicide".  Way too extreme and so much drama.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stabilized? on: March 29, 2018, 05:33:55 PM
While I agree that it is not yet stable, I believe we are close to the bottom and (in a way) safer now to start purchasing.  I just did this week.  If everyone is on the fence and waiting...no one will kick start this back to life. Wink
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Convince me why ETH will reach back to $800-$1000 this year on: March 29, 2018, 05:15:52 PM
I don't want to sound unfaithful and negative. But I just don't see it happening. At least not this year. Maybe next year or in 2 years. I believe what happened in December when everything was rising was just a "miracle". There is no guarantee that could happen again. ETH could fall below $100-$200 and it can take 2-3 years to reach back to $1000. I think that is more realistic. But people still make crazy prediction that ETH will be 2K+ by the end of this year. I want to know people's reasoning behind this because I just can't see it happening. BTC years ago when it crashed, took couple years to recover back. This could be the case with ETH.  Also, there is no guarantee there will be mass adoption. Whales are taking enjoyable profits right now and I believe price will get lower. Then get little pump – dumped again – little pump – dumped again. Repeat. You guys are crazy if you guys think ETH will break 1k (hell even reach back to $800) by the end of this year. Maybe next year. Please pay attention to what’s been happening in the market. I just cannot see that happening logically.

You tried to cover it in your intro but the truth is, FUD is strong in you.  Cash out and never look back, otherwise, you will be blaming anyone here who tried to help you every time ETH takes a dive (and I assure you it will regularly).

When prospecting, the most important thing to have is faith (the belief in what you seek), lose that and you have nothing.

No one can help  you but yourself.  Good luck!
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip? on: March 29, 2018, 03:14:22 PM
My recent purchases are;

ICX, VEN, NEO, RPX, QTUM, LSK, REQ, NANO, WAN and STORM  Cool
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Connecting the dots between the massive NEO-ecosystem and WanChain! on: March 29, 2018, 03:01:16 PM
Thanks.  I just added a bit of WAN in my portfolio. Smiley
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we repeating the 2014 BTC crash??? on: March 29, 2018, 02:05:10 PM
2014 trend is still being followed...good entry/buy point may be coming within the next 24 hours Wink
For me it is not the same situation cause i think that this down will last longer and after next few months the prices will just pump but we need to be patient for more time.

It could but historically we should be entering the recovery phase soon....it doesn't mean there will be no more dips but the movement should be upwards in general.  Then again, this is crypto world so anything can happen.

For me, I want to believe that the "suffering" is about to end.  Either I am correct or I am entering the denial zone. LOL  Cheesy
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we repeating the 2014 BTC crash??? on: March 29, 2018, 11:32:38 AM
You can compare the crash of 2014 and the correction right now. The market cap has hugely increased since then. This is just normal (and probably healthy) price correction for an asset. It also prove that Bitcoin and generally crypto is not in a bubble. I don't say that the price can reach its peak like in the end of 2017 but market will soon recover

What is your definition of correction vs crash?

This is definitely a crash but I agree that recovery will start soon.  Before that, we might see the bottom today (if not tomorrow).
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we repeating the 2014 BTC crash??? on: March 29, 2018, 04:22:52 AM
If the 2014 trend is followed, last major dip (bottom) may be coming the next 24 hours (or so).  This could be painful to watch...
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50'000 USD to invest NOW on: March 28, 2018, 07:34:26 PM

See you in 27.03.2019 for the withdrawal

Review the history of crypto...you might want to reconsider that withdrawal date to December up to early January. Wink

Hint; this correction/crash is not unique to 2018 (though this is a bit more drastic than usual).

Good luck!
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio! Your thougt please... on: March 28, 2018, 04:02:42 PM
Like it?

NEO         29%
IOTA        19%
XRP         19%
TRON       10%
XLM         10%
NCASH     7%
STORM     6%

I think about Omisego, Eos and Vechain  Huh

Overall it is not bad, I like it.

However, I am biased and don't like XRP, TRON and XLM...I'd replace those with ICX, VEN and QTUM if this is mine.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you recommend selling my Bitcoins now on: March 28, 2018, 03:15:54 PM
I just bought BTC recently so I hope that tells you what I think. Wink

Good times are coming...just be realistic w/ your expectations, it won't be a rocket launch right away, (might even be bumpy still) but that too will come.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Spring cleaning my portfolio--can you help? on: March 28, 2018, 01:15:44 PM
PRL is on your purging list??
You must be kidding!
this is one of the pearls this year.

Yeah, I decided to keep it. Smiley  Thanks.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My recent alt purchase... on: March 27, 2018, 08:34:18 PM
VEN , NEO , QTUM and NANO are the best !! just hold them and never sell. I dont know how long you wanna hold them but if you wait at least one year you will have big gain in the end. VEN can make new ath in September. NEO can make 3x in any time . Qtum will grow  every 3 months. First rule is btc price for now so wait until btc recover if you wanna sell before new ath's.

I have no plans to sell (yet) but part of my strategy is to collect earnings depending on each coin's trigger (usually at x3 the purchase price-- but may vary depending on activity at that point).  It worked for me so far and I don't plan on changing it.

I may also flip/trade if I have sense an upcoming drastic BTC price movement (up or down).
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Competitor of Ethereum on: March 27, 2018, 07:55:34 PM
Several that comes to mind are: NEO, ICX, ARK, QTUM

NEO is gaining traction...may take a few years but it will eventually be an ETH threat.

ICX is currently an ETH token but will launch their own platform as early as next month.  It is dubbed as the "aircraft carrier" of crypto...basically proposing to do similar as what CMT is proposing...making various coins and tokens work with their platform.

ARK is another that ties various crypto with the Smart Bridges.  Again similar to ICX and CMT.

QTUM is a darkhorse, much like ETH but moving unnoticed...

I believe on all these 4 and hold them.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I just go commit suicide? on: March 27, 2018, 07:36:35 PM
Yes ETH is very good coin and it is just down by 30% approx . their are people whose portfolio is down by 50% but they are playing smart by investing at lower rates so that the average gets lower and when the price rises back the profit could be easily made.

I for one "lost" 74% of my portfolio from Jan 9 vs today...that said, I made/gained 564% before that, so I am still 75% ahead. Cheesy
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I just go commit suicide? on: March 27, 2018, 07:14:14 PM
Even as a joke...don't even.

Remember the saying, all your gain and loss are only on paper until you cash out.  You have your coins, you haven't lost anything...unless you sell low.  So relax and HODL, good times are in the horizon. Smiley
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My recent alt purchase... on: March 27, 2018, 06:24:19 PM
Decent purchase, I especially like NEO, Qtum, and RPX. I think all of them will skyrocket in 2018-2019. However, a 24-coin portfolio is a little bit a lot as for me.

I hear ya...however, 80% of my portfolio is on the top 6 coins.  The rest are hard core "speculations", cheap coins that may (or may not) amount to something.  That is my "gambling" pot.

Believe it or not, 2 of my top coins (ICX and VEN) are from that group... just got promoted recently. Wink
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My recent alt purchase... on: March 27, 2018, 05:42:05 PM
I own all of the coins mentioned except RPX. Will take a look and see if it also worth a place in the portfolio.

It is the 1st NEO based token to come out.  I liked it enough that I used to own 300 NEO worth of it.  Sold majority of it and my holdings up until yesterday was all basically FREE. Cheesy
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My recent alt purchase... on: March 27, 2018, 04:33:17 PM
outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum ?
if we are talking about price,i believe it should be because the price went down for more than 70% from its peak.
or basically everything is on discount right now,so no matter what coin it is,
it will go up in the future.

but if we are talking about popularity and technology,
none from it will outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum, because everything is created based on Bitcoin and the majority project created based on ERC20 which is from Ethereum.
(even though not all of it).
it was not our first time seeing it,if i remember it correctly we could see something like this last year.

As I said, growth wise (in value).  I make investment decision based on the future value (i.e. how much I'll make), I can always shift/reinvest to another once goals are met.  Of course current value (because of the drop) is one of the major factors, tech is also a factor, team, news, RISK, etc...in short ,everything is considered.

I am sure there are many that will outperform these too but with considerable risk...these are IMHO high yield, low risk.  That is why I chose them.
