201  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that 80% of the world's wealth in the hands of 20%? on: April 23, 2023, 02:51:41 PM
According to various studies and world inequality report 2018, large portion of world's wealth is concentrated  in the hands of small portion of population, while the bottom 50% holds less than 2%. This distribution of wealth is highly unequal and cause of concern for many people, as it contributes to social and political unrest all over the world.

What governments can do to make it more equitable?

https://wir2018.wid.world/

the government doesn't do anything we ourselves should think why other people can be rich and I don't have a mindset like that that we have to instill in ourselves we start from ourselves being consistent and disciplined because we humans are all the same only way of thinking  those of us who are rich, if we believe we can be rich, it will definitely happen.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: April 23, 2023, 02:34:54 PM
"Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin" this question was asked by a friend

My reply to her is this:
It is generally not advisable to take out a loan to purchase Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and the value of a particular coin can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. This means that the value of the coin you purchase with a loan could drop, making it difficult to repay the loan. It is important to do your own research and make sure you understand the risks before investing in any financial product, including Bitcoin.

What is your advice?

I suggest not to invest when you are ready because borrowing money to buy bitcoin is a very high risk thing, what's more, the cryptocurrency market is very volatile, so avoid things like that, buy bitcoin when you are ready and accept all the risks because there is no  bitcoin guarantee will go up do your own research before buying.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 23, 2023, 12:38:48 PM
Learn to say “no”

This is something that you should really be minding or have this kind of behavior on which it is really better where you dont make yourself get easily tempted on buying things which you do see around. If its something that is beneficial then go ahead but its not something necessary then its better to skip out and avoid it.There are people who do have that good self control and discipline when it comes to things specially
if they are aware on how much they've been earning.

Spending something or an amount which is more than you do earn will really be putting you on huge debt and would really be having some financial problem which is something
that we do really need to avoid on or having this kind of behavior.

I agree with your opinion, learn to say no, learn to be consistent and discipline about something, don't be wasteful, don't spend more than you earn, try to maximize your income, minimize expenses, don't be stingy for yourself, that's something that can make you save and have an emergency fund so we can survive in future.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: April 22, 2023, 02:33:16 PM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you

I think economic developments have greatly affected bitcoin, for example, the SVB bank that went bankrupt had a big impact on bitcoin because some people returned to risky assets like bitcoin and people returned to believing in Bitcoin from the bankrupt case of the SVB bank
What do you think?
205  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: April 22, 2023, 02:20:11 PM
I think investing in gold is really worth it for the long term because gold is one of the safest investments in my opinion because gold has a very low risk and gold is very liquid when selling.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: it's so risky! on: April 22, 2023, 02:16:27 PM
I don't invest money easily in any asset because of fear of losing that money. i think of investing 80% of total savings.
do taking risk is important or not?

please quote all question and answer it's very helpful for me and others.

taking risks is important but if investing 80% of your total savings is very risky in my opinion you should have an emergency fund before investing in my opinion 30% is enough for you to invest you also have to think ahead before you invest and have to think about all the risks that exists because investing is not always profitable stay safe.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: April 21, 2023, 07:07:14 AM
we will not know for the price of bitcoin in the future, and I just want to know what you think, about the question this time that I will ask you all, namely..
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?

in my opinion, the alt coin will become a dead coin if btc drops to 10 $, I can't imagine that this will happen because BTC is the king of cryptocurrency, one of the factors for alt coins can be up to now because bitcoin, in my opinion, if btc rises, the average altcoin also rises after the cycle  what i saw
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC would rise again? on: April 21, 2023, 07:01:35 AM
Judging from the long period of time BTC has not accumulate any impression, I doubt if people are still investing because of many policies formulating against cryptosystem no industries and firm wants to risk their capital again. Would the system remains this way?

Normally I understand this wasn't the first time BTC has experience this down slide but then it was normally market situations but now many billionares has withdrew interest in this project, then what is the hope of this project? Do you think BTC will experience better and high price?

I'm sure BTC will experience an increase in the future with the bankruptcy of banks in America. I think it's a good impact for bitcoin because some people switch to bitcoin and I'm sure bitcoin will replace fiat money in the future, let's just wait, this is just a personal assumption
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: April 21, 2023, 06:50:36 AM
I personally choose ETH and BNB because these 2 coins are in the top 5 coins on the market cap. If I am asked to choose between ETH and BNB, I choose ETH. According to my analysis, ETH will set a new record in the future, what's more, ETH is often called the bitcoin killer. What do you think?
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 20, 2023, 05:46:53 PM
meme coin is a type of cryptocurrency that is based on popular memes on the internet meme coin has a relatively small capitalization compared to other cryptos, but keep in mind cryptocurrency has speculative properties, especially memecoin, so before investing in memecoin it would be nice to do research first or invest in it on a small scale first so you don't lose a lot of your money according to my experience using memecoin in its own time so stay safe in making decisions before investing in memecoin
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 20, 2023, 05:29:43 PM
When you're short on cash, it can be difficult to quit borrowing money.

Everyone has been there. We're short on cash and in a lot of debt, but a cover loan to get out of the red and even improve our readiness is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Blissful days? Sadly, no. It all comes down to the straightforward, yet frequently misunderstood, formula that says borrowing more money equals more debt. It is more difficult to return to black the more debt you accumulate.

The majority of us live beyond our means, which is one of the primary causes of our ever-increasing habit of borrowing money. Simply put, incomings are outpacing outgoings. It's also getting worse.

More than at any time in the past two decades, millions of Americans are spending more than they earn. Spending on credit cards, the most common type of personal debt, is estimated to be rising at a rate faster than at any other time in American history.

Borrowing money isn't always bad. Sometimes we don't get paid, but we don't have enough money for everyday. Borrowing money is one solution, but borrowing for a lifestyle that shouldn't be done. it's necessary to avoid a cycle like that that we have to avoid because it maximizes income while minimizing expenses, what we should do is not stingy, but we have to be good at managing money well so that in the future we can live quietly without debt.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: April 20, 2023, 05:13:14 PM
Can shiba inu ever get to $1 in the next bull run or more years to come??,  though nothing is impossible, but i don't think it can get there,
And is the project still good to invest in?

I don't think it's still very far for a Shiba Inu to reach a price of 1$ but nothing is impossible what's more Shiba is often called the Dogecoin killer with the upcoming Shiba project I think it's still worth it to invest in Shiba but for the next bull run I will I don't think a shiba inu can reach a price of 1$ but I'm sure a shiba will reach a price of 1$ but it takes a very long time. This is just my personal assumption, what do you think?
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: April 20, 2023, 10:54:23 AM

To make a living, we must work. In uncertain days like now facing the global economic downturn, a stable job with high income becomes a scarcity. A side job or business seems like more necessary than ever, which can minimize the risks of losing your current job, ending up pennyless. However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?

In my opinion, we can't rely on one permanent job, we have to have a side business, even though the business is not much, sometimes it's the side business that helps with stability, because we have backup money, we don't know in the future, who knows, we might be fired suddenly, make our side business cash flow that can help stabilize our finances
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 19, 2023, 07:12:53 PM
All in a bid to ensure I have a concrete investment plan this year, I researched some of the altcoins that has the potential to yield the best return over a duration of 5years. BTC and Eth top my list as one of the more secure coins, but other altcoins have proven to be reliable overtime, if you agree. Despite market volatility and the possibility of a crash, which is your most valid choice right now.

*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?

- $BTC *
- $ETH *
- $ADA
- $VET
- $SOL
- $MATIC
- $SHIB
- $NEAR
- $DOGE
- $DOT
- $LINK

These are some of the best I have seen so far.

*What advice would you give me?

with 40,000$ besides BTC and ETH maybe I will choose dogecoin which will make me a billionaire in the future I think dogecoin has the potential to fly in the future with the doge hype created by elon musk who wants to change the twitter logo to the dogecoin logo doge immediately flies 24  % on that day I think there will be new hype hype that will come with Dogecoin what's more Dogecoin is one of Elon Musk's favorite coins and to be honest I also have Dogecoin in my portfolio I'm sure Doge will break to 1$ in the near future.
this is just a personal assumption  this is not investment advice
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 19, 2023, 06:57:18 PM
Being a student is so hard nowadays. I've been spending a lot for school requirements and different activities related to education. I'm stuck with this saying "SAVING IS WASTING", thinking that with the little amount of money I have, should I put it on an investment or should I just save it for my future expenses or emergencies. I'm also living in a country in which there are limited side hustles I could do to earn extra for investment, so I'm troubled somehow.

I agree with the saying that saving is a waste because with the current inflation I don't think saving is a good thing because our money does increase but its value falls I think we have to start setting aside some of our money for investing and we have to have an emergency fund before investing because all investments have risks that I think we should invest rather than just saving to make us survive in the future

217  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 09, 2023, 05:04:48 PM
Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

It's true that even after graduating from university, we don't guarantee ourselves that we will get a good job because there are fewer and fewer jobs every day, sometimes we have to start from our own business without waiting for jobs from the government, we can make already selling and other things while getting the best job.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: April 09, 2023, 02:12:10 PM
hello, all my friends... now the price of bitcoin has increased quite a lot... and now bitcoin is in the range of 27000.
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not... ?I want to hear it from all of you...
and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?

I think bitcoin will touch the price of 50,000 $ even more if you want to sell your bitcoin now it depends on you but if I personally don't I will hold and sell at a very high price I'm sure bitcoin will save the world banking system BITCOIN TO THE MOON.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: April 09, 2023, 01:46:41 PM
Like the title says, this year 2023, are you bullish or bearish on bitcoin and why? I would love to hear why. I personally believe this is a bear market rally or something similar.  Kiss Kiss Kiss Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

no one can predict that bitcoin will be bullish or bearish this year but in my personal opinion bitcoin will go up in the future in 2023 after several banks in America went bankrupt people are back to buying bitcoin and trusting bitcoin I think that's good progress for bitcoins this year.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: April 08, 2023, 03:28:22 PM
These days many new crypto coins and tokens are being introduced  and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency makes a good pump in their starting days and after on, they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a very big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens is finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

every investment must have something called risk, but in my opinion, investing in new coins is very risky, before buying, we have to analyze it ourselves and find out things about the coin ourselves so as to minimize losses, be careful about coin bubbles and never buy just any coin. don't be fomo and believe 100% what people say on the internet because cryptocurrencies are very volatile do your own research but if you want something called gambling to buy new coins and can expect profit from these coins without analyzing anything it's up to you.
