I believe the financial economy is big enough for cryptocurrencies and fiat currency. The user can use both currencies to suit his need. Fiat currency will not die because of the cryptocurrencies as the mainstream society are yet to adapt its use

Bitcoin will survive the present situation and will come out victorious. It will be $20 000 come 2019 and much more in the nearest future.

mining is not profitable now because of the present value of bitcoin. It is cheaper to invest in the coin that to mine it.

Bitcoin is now down but the future is bright. we are in the technological era and the future of money is the cryptocurrency. We have a taste of what bitcoin can do as a payment method and store of value. I believe it will survive to shine again.

The shenanigans going on with bitcoin lead to the state in which bitcoin is today is as a result of whale manipulations.The whales take advantage of selloffs by shorting bitcoin and strengthen their monopoly of the market. They can acquire more bitcoins at lower prices before driving prices higher again. I do not think the whales anticipated so much downtrend in bitcoin. BTC and altcoins will be easier to be manipulated now for the whales can acquire so much at little cost.

Am not afraid of the current market situation but it saddens me that my portfolio is decreasing by the day. I believe the market situation will change so am going to HODL till then

It can not be all down market situation will change. In 2018, the digital currency market went from being worth under $20 billion to well over $500 billion in just two years. There is a gradual adaptation of cryptocurrency which means next year will be better

I believe in diversification in a marketplace that is highly volatile. when one invest in different cryptocurrencies. Diversification is not a guarantee against loss but it maximizes returns on investment and reduces one's risk

Bounty hunting will not die down as there is a need for it by new ICOs and other projects that want to advertise their coin to the general public. 2018 has not been a good year but bounty hunting will continue for a long time to come

2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments. Investors buy at low prices to sell high and 2018  has given investors the opportunity to do just that .“If you are not willing to own a stock for 10 years, do not even think about owning it for 10 minutes.”

Crypto investment is very volatile and for that, the investor should know that the value will not be stable. I do not look at my wallet balance in time of dip.

There are always to sides to a coin and also the crypto market experiences a bull and a bear market. Each market situation might be favourable to some people. At bull people sell to make profit and at bear people buy to HODL

I do not think now is the right time to invest in ICOs . Be patient, wait for Jan 2019 and see how it goes but you can invest in projects that have reached their soft cap if you must.
