You should also consider the rank of the campaign manager. Usually jr. member campaign managers are dangerous because they can easily throw away their account. This means they don't have much obligation to follow through with actual bounty payouts.

Hi guys, i'm pretty new to bounties and have seen that there are lots of new altcoin bounties being posted everyday.
I'm curious as to: 1. Do you really earn from joining bounties like this? 2. What is the weekly average amount earned in USD$ for joining bounties if i spend 1-2 hours daily doing it? (not signature campaigns but fb, twitter, telegram bounties) 3. How much have you earned from telegram bounties alone?

I'm thinking that a recession would actually do the opposite of your last statement. I believe if a recession were to occur, people would place their money in crypto as a storage of value. Just take a look at the hudred trillion zimbabwe dollar bills. Hyper inflation can happen with fiat but not with crypto as it decentralized and spread across all countries.

That is strange. First time to hear that ever happen.
Are you sure you plugged everything in correctly? I'd go over some guides online on how to connect your server PSU. If it still fails, i'd ask for RMA from parallel miner.

I've bought more cryptocurrencies from my cryptocurrency earnings.
Reinvesting into something you know and believe in is a good idea. My re-investment of my mining rig profits into more mining rigs has also proved to be profitable. Don't let fear step all over you. Crypto is here to stay and investing now while it is early is a damn good idea.

Does anybody know what's going on? Nobody can really tell for sure. Actually, whether crypto or not, it is very difficult to know how or why the market moves like it does. If anyone knew what was going on then they would be insanely rich and would have no further reason to share information with everyone else because it would make them less rich.

There are assholes everywhere, not just in crypto or in ICOs. Sadly, this is part of life and the key is dealing with these assholes gracefully.
If you are investing in ICOs a good measure would be to avoid coins that have asshole teams. Take for example SafeDroid who "faked" an exit scam. Sheesh.

Is this actually legit? Despite having a github page the actual source code of this "hardener" still can't be reviewed.
Would be interesting to have a 1080ti hash at 50 MH/s though. Still less profitable than mining other coins like ravencoin but hey its an additional option.

For consumer type PSUs i have never had problems with either Corsair or Seasonic.
That being said, you would be better off with a server PSU if you will be using it for mining. It's cheaper and more power efficient. Just do a quick search of server PSUs for mining and you should find out everything you need to know.

Hi Folks -
I have no crypto holdings but have been thinking for a while about getting in. I've read just a little and watched the prices fluctuate for a couple months but don't know that much.
From watching what the markets seem to believe in, I am thinking of investing
40% ETH 40% NEO 10% VEN 5% DGD 5% WTC
and using Binance as my exchange to buy. I am thinking that there may be another dip before there is the next dramatic rise, and I am waiting for that (or maybe I am just mad at myself that I didn't jump in on Feb 5th, when I had the impulse to).
Any suggestions about coins, diversification, exchange choice, timing?
Also, what I'd really like to do is invest in something like a reliable and trustworthy ETF/mutual fund, where I provide capital and some smart people who live and breathe this stuff 24/7 do the investing and re-balancing. I've seen a few things that kind of look like a 100% crypto mixed managed fund, but they're all not exactly that, or else they're already closed, or the SEC has made them illegal for now. Any suggestions with this, too?
Thank you.
Seems like i've seen this EXACT same post here in the forums previously except with a different post title. I know because i believe i've commented on this portfolio before. Flagging this for reference until i find the other post. Spamming is not tolerated in these forums.

You know you could have created a POLL topic which allows others to actually vote to express their opinion. Annyway, at this rate, i firmly believe that Ethereum will overtake bitcoin eventually. Ethereum is actively developing their blockchain while the bitcoin core team has somewhat become stagnant. Just take a look at https://www.flippening.watch/ to see what i mean.

And finally, Bounty Hunting can net you some of the fastest currency gains in the game, in very little time.
I seriously disagree. Especially if you don't have a well ranked account, the revenue from bounty hunting is simply too little. With the introduction of merit, you will now be working your ass off trying to increase your rank before you even get any serious crypto. If you want to earn serious crypto you should look into trading or mining.

This is some of the batteries i got last month from going around and asking politely from many locations and picking up some from locations that told me they would place them to the side for me... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ffarm1.staticflickr.com%2F882%2F39742669520_090ea82bcc_z_d.jpg&t=663&c=EQ0huF4sIiQ5WQ) The lithium batteries for your power wall i understand man. Good job on saving money on those.. But these old laptop batteries? If you don't mind may i ask what you use them for? Thats a lot of junk that could be flammable if i understand correctly.

I saw nice ICOs and wanted to take part in their bounties, but saw rank junior member as manager. Do you have examples of successful ICOs with low rank of bounty manager on the BTT.
Sometimes the rank of the bounty manager is highly indicative of whether or not the campaign will actually pay. It is easy for a jr.member account to host a campaign and never pay anyone after because he/she can easily throw away the account. On the other hand, a legendary account manager will be throwing a way an expensive account if he/she decides not to pay out.

I'd say go for NEO instead. They seem to be a more competent and professional team. I personally disdain EOS for collecting so much ICO funding yet fail to deliver on-time. Besides, EOS' idea is nothing new that NEO or ETH don't already have.
Don't forget to do your own research.

All altcoins are directly correlated to bitcoin value. When bitcoin's value rises then the alts usually follow the same trend. This has been a on-going trend which you will on the historical charts of all cryptocurrencies. Until other altcoins gain more exposure and adoption the charts and trends will tend to stay this way.

just seeing what is out there looking for a new coin to mine and hold for awhile that isnt to well know yet
Bitcore recently got added to whattomine front page (TimeTravel10) and it's quite profitable on Nvidia. Also with all the great stuff coming later this year there is a good possibility of great returns. I would still say it's quite an unknown coin. --ypsi Seen this timetravel10 algo too just recently. However whattomine.com displays it weird because although the revenue is higher $2+ compared to ETH at $1+, the profit indicated is lower. Does this mean that the timetravel10 algo is extremely power consuming? or is there just a bug with whattomine?

This is a platform comparison of NEO and ETH. Either NEP 5 or ERC 20 is promising in the future➰ー‼️?? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm guessing it will depend on whether NEO or ETH will have more adoption. If the entire platform is more successful its token standard will be used. That being said, i'm more for using ERC20 tokens as they are the simplest to use and Ethereum is more well-known across the globe. It will be easier for my users.

Since theres serious shortage of more powerful cards, maybe it would be good diea to check what are these cards able to do. I guess cryptonight algo is main contender here. Sadly, I don't have any, so someone else will have to come up with numbers ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Serious shortage of more powerful cards? The shit has hit the fan and local markets have started flooding with 2nd hand mining rigs and individual mining GPUs. I don't see how you can't find a good deal on used cards. It just take a little time and effort.

I've added GPUs 4 at a time without problem, as long as they are of the same manufacturer (AMD vs NVIDIA). What i've learned is that it's always better to install NVIDIA first because their drivers are simple. With AMD, you will have to deal with more stress because installing new GPUs always seems to screw something up.
