201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized cryptocurrency on: January 12, 2018, 01:58:44 PM
What is the difference between a Decentralized and a Centralized Cryptocurrency?
Bitcoin has no centralization, of course any personal, institutional, or agency that functions as a controlling center in full. Creation of new Bitcoin units can be done by anyone, open to everyone. And that is precisely what will keep the integrity of the Bitcoin system running.
202  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info problems on: January 11, 2018, 03:43:19 PM
After registration on Blockchain.info I have only problems. It was the worst my decision to register there.

Today I tried to send some amount from Bitcoin wallet. I received error "Validation error .......":

http://take.ms/eyqD2

In December I tried to exchange ether on bitcoin cash. And received this:

"Your pending transaction expired before we received your deposit. However - it looks like we dont have a valid return address for you. Please contact our support and reference the following id to receive your deposited coins back"

I sent several tickets to support and have received 0 answers. And lost my money, of course. 21 days without answer.

How to solve this problem? Anybody knows?
recently I got info from my friend if Blockchain is experiencing server interruption in due to change server API v.1 to v.2 without warning first. so some of the transactions generated by blockchain experience problems or delays and some even lose funds while transacting.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is asset, not currency. on: January 11, 2018, 02:27:43 PM
National Bank of Israel officially announced that the Bitcoin is not currency but asset. I think that most countries will follow the example. what do you think?
Bitcoin is Not a Currency. How will a currency function as a "stable" Value Store? If the currency serves as a stable value keeper, then the cause of inflation will occur naturally. Anything that can be a "store of value", must be able to ensure that its value is feasible and can last a lifetime. Comparable to long-term purchasing power.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in BTC on: January 10, 2018, 03:53:30 PM
I heard that investing in bitcoin is dangerous. How true is this?  Huh
Although there are many investments in PONZI schemes, there are also safe bitcoin mining investments. Safe investment does not mean fast profit or ROI quickly. In general, bitcoin investment will benefit after 12 - 16 months.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin only an advantage ? on: January 10, 2018, 02:46:05 PM
I have perused in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual monetary forms are resources and does not have the attributes or what it takes to be a cash that could meet our cutting edge financial necessities. It was said that it doesn't have the major characteristics. What are your considerations about it?
it's true that many people are scavenging the benefits of crypto ... but even so there are some who lose because they have not understood or ambition in using bitcoin
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is crypto? on: January 09, 2018, 01:16:14 PM
So, I'm a newbie...I don't have much knowledge yet about basic terms in Bitcoining. I just encountered this word in a reply. What is crypto?
Crypto is a virtual currency that is used as an alternative currency that is usually decentralized. This means that no one party governs either from the government or the originator of Cryptocurrency itself.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin instead of Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 01:27:42 PM
Hi, shall i transfer Litecoin instead of bitcoin from Coinbase to Binance and then use those Litecoin to trade for Bitcoin on Binance and then use the newly bought Bitcoin to trade with altcoins?  this way will enable me to get cheaper " sending" fees by Coinbase?

I came across some people saying that sending Bitcoin directly from Coinbase to their Binance would charge very expensive fee. but sending litecoin is much cheaper. is that true? some said they sent 50USD worth of bitcoin to Binance and Coinbase charged them 15 - 20USD of sending fee! come on, thats crazy. hope you guys are keen on helping me! and no i cannot use GDAX. it requested for my driver license or sign up as business which i dont have either other than my passport
Litecoin is made as a prime alternative to Bitcoin by providing lighter algorithm features to be mined, faster transaction confirmation features, and to serve smaller fractions of microtransactions from Bitcoin
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 07, 2018, 10:18:14 AM
I am so curious that if Eth price overcome Btc's, what will happen in crypto world?
if it is a prediction then it is a silly prediction in my opinion .... so far the comparison between ETH with bitcoin even to balance it already may not be .......
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin need to be taxed? on: January 06, 2018, 02:37:25 PM
Base from my recent post "Does bitcoin could be call a job?" I have read your opinions regarding to that. Doing these things is a form of earning money basically we have income. So does it need to be taxed? Because this is also a source of income, and we might call it as a job?
The Directorate General of Tax affirmed that the taxpayer must also include the ownership of bitcoin in the property column of the annual tax return. If not include, then the property is found by the tax officer then the taxpayer can be threatened sanctions in the form of fines.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 05, 2018, 03:00:18 PM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
The world's number one virtual currency is never going to escape the controversy. Although its existence began to be widely acknowledged to be able to help various sectors, there are certain parties who still feel the sanctity of Bitcoin security. Many call that this digital currency could be a source of cyber crime that makes the perpetrators are not traced.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a fluctuating value !! on: January 05, 2018, 01:33:46 PM
it will grow up and sometime it will crush your money. looking for healthy public  opinion
Bitcoin value fluctuations are influenced by many factors. Currency volatility is measured by volatility index. The volatility in Bitcoin still does not have a generally accepted index, since cryptocurrency is an asset and is still in its infancy.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin worth it or not? on: January 04, 2018, 04:38:09 PM
Hi guys!

iam kind of noob of this bitcoins and i have some questions i need to have answer on.

is it worth to invest right now? do guys think its gonna rise up much more or just crash?

should i buy btc, or just mine it by my self?

best regards
In the era of all-digital today many investments that do not have a physical form but has a high value. One of them is digital money that recently rampant discussed. The first digital money introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto under the name of bitcoin. Bitcoin is not only considered safe to be used as a means of payment but can also be used in various countries in the world. Bitcoin prices are even able to exceed gold and now its market capitalization value can reach US $ 15 billion. The largest bitcoin users are in Japan and China which are used for various transactions even for donations.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: January 04, 2018, 01:50:57 PM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?
Disagree with this. I think that benz bitcoin is no better than gold, gold is also no better than bitcoin but both are better than paper money of course. Bitcoin excels with its transaction system but there is no "real value" like gold, in extreme conditions
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transation fee can be reduce??? on: January 03, 2018, 02:55:35 PM
Last few days  i was anlysis some exchanger they double there bitcoin withdraw fee.So my question why bitcoin transaction fee increased and deley transaction? bitcoin another fork super bitcoin already came so bitcoin can be ruduce there fee ? Sad Sad Sad
The cost of bitcoin transaction depends on what wallet to use, there is a wallet provider who bear the transaction costs of its members such as Triv
and some provide transaction fees to its members.
but in general the cost of bitcoin transactions ranges from: 0.0001 - 0.0005 BTC
For the purchase / sale cost of Triv there is a taker fee that ranges from 0.3% -3.5% based on the nominal purchase
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 03, 2018, 05:39:52 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

Bitcoin is an exciting technology and a new form of money, but this does not mean Bitcoin is free from risks. Keep in mind that there are some similar rules in Bitcoin like traditional money. For example, do not keep your cash under the pillow because it is easily stolen, or do not entrust your money to a stranger.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 02, 2018, 02:32:08 PM
In my opinion bitcoin will rise up to $22000.
many predict bitcoin rise in january .. the prediction is wrong ... even bitcoin prices dropped dramatically ... what can make can only accept the fact ..... hopefully not forever bitcoin plummeted
    217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Bitcoin stable ? on: January 02, 2018, 12:07:02 PM
Recently  Bitcoin got very high fluctuations. It went up 19,000USD(nearly) and dip to 12,500USD. In this situation does BTC stable ?

What are reason for that kind fluctuations ?
How long it will take reach 19,000 USD with this kind of market fluctuations ?

Bitcoin users in the Indonesian market often see Bitcoin as an investment tool with very high fluctuations. They take advantage of drastic price movements to make a profit in the near future, so they are not so happy when Bitcoin prices tend to be stable. Even many who argue that Bitcoin has begun to lose its fame and is no longer a good tool to harvest profits.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of CryptoCurrencies on: January 01, 2018, 02:02:17 PM
Hello, This is my first post within the general forum area. I am happy to be a part of such an important community. I don't have to convince anyone here of the importance of Crypto-Currencies. I am curious what some people think about the future of these currencies. Do we consider them commodities? I am curious if Bitcoin/Litecoin/Namecoin/etc will ever be traded on an open market much like currency exchanges or NYSE. They are currently traded on an open market but the transfers are limited to payment systems that can be difficult. My question is this: Does anyone believe that Bitcoin will be traded on a massive level alongside other currencies like the Euro, U.S. Dollar, etc? If this happens than Bitcoin could likely become the worlds largest digital currency. However, until Bitcoin can be adapted to large-scale physical dollars or coins they will remain a digital currency. They are obviously much more secure than credit cards and financial market holdings. I hope that Bitcoin can become more of a liquid asset. That would change the game indefinitely. The more liquid the currency the more available it becomes and the transactions become easier. Anyways.... I appreciate anyone's insight into this matter as it will help me decide whether to invest in Bitcoin for the long haul. Thanks!

See you on the other side,

    Mahonias Mavrostomos
Some limitations that cryptocurrencies may encounter - such as the fact that a person's digital fortune can be erased by the destruction of a computer device, or a virtual vault that can be looted by hackers - can be overcome in the future through technological advances. What may be difficult to overcome is the basic paradox of cryptocurrencies - when it becomes more popular, regulation and government oversight will become increasingly tight, which could ultimately undermine the fundamental premise for the existence of cryptocurrencies.
    219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: January 01, 2018, 01:10:30 PM
    Bitcoin dominance is below 40%

    Other altcoins gain dominance.

What do you think? It will correct like last year? I think we're going to have a big correction next days in altcoins price and market cap caused by an increase in btc price. But It will only recover 10-15% of dominance, not all.

according to the news I hear ethereum will shift the dominance of bitcoin because ethereum is the highest crypto number 2 of bitcoin .... whether the news is true or just a joke .. but definitely be bitcoin stay ahead
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the newyear 2018 on: December 31, 2017, 02:29:36 PM
as we know that bitcoin has crossed its highest records in the month of dec we can see newyear is coming as per my opinion upto newyear its rates will be increasing more and more but after newyear bitcoin will have a huge dump but what do you think what will happen to bitcoin in the next year january 2018
bitcoin will continue to shine like fireworks on the eve of the turn of the year, will soar, ... everyone has predicted it is just a prediction just wait for reality
