Maybe they make a new year update. What happened or achieved in 2018 and what will us expect in 2019.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: January 01, 2019, 02:06:15 PM

To be honest i don't blame people for asking 100 millions if they just get more by asking it. But the investors were also greedy to think that it would be easy to rise value after so huge market caps.

Strangest is how some of these ICO's that managed 100m+ are already going bankrupt by now. How do you spend 100m in a year (not counting the price decrease)

I've witnessed this too. I have met guys at these events that have spent 5-10 million just traveling and attending these things.

And 6 months later they are making a medium post about they are out of funds because of the bad market.

204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 30, 2018, 08:09:03 AM
They going to trade by security tokens on this exchange? Seems next year will be hype of security tokens  Huh

I don't think they will left security tokens out. They are trying to make a hybrid Exchange with forex and all, i don't think they won't list security tokens.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 30, 2018, 08:07:16 AM
true. but not everyone that participates in ICOs knows how to enter in the contract address at a dex to find out if the tokens are being sold cheaper.

I think most of them know. Maybe only private investors don't know and right now only Money are coming from them.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 30, 2018, 08:06:32 AM
Do you have a Facebook page? I tried to search this on Facebook but found nothing. It's not essential forum in anyway but i would have just followed it.
I think they don't have it and I think they don't really put much effort on promoting this project digitally. They don't have a bounty campaign, they don't have an airdrop, and also they only have around 1300 followers on their twitter.
As we all know theyre focusing on private sale and private deal which are the best ways at the moment.

I prefer 1300 real followers or even 130 real followers to 120.000 followers come for the airdrop.

Same thing is appliable for all other social media accounts.

After reading the article, I realized adding blockchain to VR probably involves text and numbers. The Cardboard VR resolution is pretty low. Would it not be too hard to read text and numbers in low resolution VR?

And how would users interact with text and numbers?

I haven't really used vr yet but why that would be hard to read? You can still scale text with low resolution. Right?

Well lets be honest the cardboard wont be the best experience, but it's possible and reading the text will be indeed low resolution compared to for example the Oculus and HTC.

Simple cause the process power and lenses are less optimal, same with gaming you will have computers that run a game on low stats and others on Ultra.

Our goal is the build the future platform for many VR users and the future glasses get cheaper and better Oculus go is a good example.

In cardboard isn't there a risk may chase away people?

It is giving very low quality and people who is trying that can think vr is not that good.

Dusk will hit the market as an ERC20 placeholder until the release of our mainnet (Q2 2019)

So if i hold it in Bitfinex, will the swap be automatic or do i have to do anything to get swapped dusk tokens when the time comes?

Most of the time, reputable exchanges making swap without having any problem. But an official confirmation would be also good too.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 29, 2018, 09:04:39 PM

in effect, if the tokens are cheaper on the exchanges, why buy them during the ico? if no one buys it during the ico, how does the project go forward? to be developed without funds? i think anyway ehf is already at a good point with fundraising...

It is the problem of 2018 for icos.

People don't want to buy because exchanges would be cheaper and projects can't gather Money because of that.

Yeah, people should be more careful about their money. I also want 100 millions if someone want to give it to me. Everyone want that actually.

This year is an education for all of us, i guess.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 28, 2018, 10:31:32 AM
Somewhere at the begin of the next year they should be putting the token in some exchange as well, was this happening before the mvp or no date was set yet?
Correct!

This is a quote from October. If they will stick to this roadmap, they should list their token on exchanges next month already. I dont have any information if this is still their plan.

Yes and this is the next big question mark. Antipoff came out of nowhere, said that he speaks in the name of nkryuchkov and disappeared again.
The whole marketing is a catastrophe, hope they will develop in this area.

So if table is true, exchanges next month?

I highly doubt it Smiley

Sto's can be great for the ecosystem also.

Because if Sto's earn good profit they will payout dividends and that need to be in eth or btc (or something in top 10). So, a big area where can cryptocurrencies be used.

213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CosmosCR [$CYBR] 🌌Virtual reality metaverse powered by the blockchain!🌌 on: December 28, 2018, 10:28:38 AM
I was just wondering about the benefits of adding crypto assets to a concept like VRChat. Then again there exist things like Eve Online which involves virtual space battles that made people lose $300000 real money worth of virtual space ships.

What is that?

Also, if some people lost $300000 worth of things, that means some people win $300000 worth of things?

I wonder how bounties will work for STO's. They won't do any or they will pay with eth/btc or will they continue like regular, giving out their token.

That's an interesting question. I am not sure if projects are allowed to give away their security tokens for marketing purposes. But as a bounty hunter, I hope that the STOs will have some kind of bounty program, too. But I guess then KYC will be mandatory to be compliant to all regulations.

We are already doing ico for the most of the bounties so there is no problem in that area. At least we would be doing kyc for something more valuable. But i don't know how they will act on bounty basis.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 25, 2018, 06:21:34 PM

Today ia a -10% day across the board so I'm not sure about the turnaround but I belive 2019 will end better than this year.

Some people forgot to buy Christmas presents and sold some crypto to remedy to the situation. 2019 in general cannot possibly be as bad as 2018, i reckon we will slowly see a recovery sometime the next year

Last year people were saying the same thing after that chinese new year. But prices kept falling and falling so these are just empty words, i must say.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 25, 2018, 06:20:50 PM
Merry X-mas everyone, let's hope 2019 is a better crypto year than 2018. With projects like Dusk that shouldn't be too bad!!!

It will be interesting to see if 2019 will be the year of STOs or if it is still too early due to the uncertainty regarding their regulation.

It will definetly not the year of ICO's i must say. So if there is something have luck about the market they are STO's.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 24, 2018, 10:13:44 AM
Guys, let me share with you a very good Technical analysis !

It clearly shows where BTC is going, take a look Smiley

So always sell BTC for Jarvis?
No his not telling to sell but to invest it on jarvest and avoid losing a lot if bitcoin falls down again because jarvis offers a revenue sharing with its holders.

What makes you so sure Jarvis won't fall down once it's listed? Best to spread

I'm not sure about the reward distributions of JRT, or what rewards are running now, but an initial drop should always be expected when working with bounty hunters, I would use this strategy a little later

The token will be listed only on our exchange for a long time, so bounty hunter will be forced to use our exchange for selling the token; so even if they come to our exchange to sell JRT, then it creates a bit of value; I do think we have more than 20 000 participants (I don't have the exact number) so theoriticaly, 20k people would need to open an account with Jarvis prior to sell their token.

Then, depending on the ICO and some deals we could have, OTC trading, darkpool, would be possible, so it allows to sell/buy the token without public orderbook.

If you only deposit tokens to their dashboard without withdrawing option that can be true.

But if you send tokens to their addresses or give permission to withdraw they can always use decentralized exchanges like forkdelta.

About their sale, did they pegged ethereum to some price or they are giving tokens with the daily value?

Maybe most of their sale is fiat cause the private sale conditions but i am curios about eth payments.

I would say they pegged it but am not sure, it would be a logical thing since ETH prices is changing a lot recently.

Yes, Eth has been pegged!

What is the pegged price of eth? Right now it is around 150$ and was worth 80$ at some point.

But considering the time of private sale start it may be around 300-500$
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 24, 2018, 10:09:25 AM
As per their new roadmap, they will be conducting the PRE-ICO stage 2 this month of December 2019 and I wonder how it is doing right now? Any news about this matter?

Pre... ICO... stage 2? The names of those sales start to make less and less sense.

If they sell their coins in several stages before the Initial Coin Offering can they really call it an Initial Coin Offering? Eventually it will be more like Fifth Coin Offering.

I think they are trying to reach their soft cap at least and doesn't matter which offering this is.

Mainstream, not yet. My ordered headset was delivered yesterday.
Unfortunately I had to realize that my smartphone does not have a gyrosensor and a borrowed one from my child not enough power
to look the CosmosCR demo fluently on their website.
But i can already play a little bit with the headset and borrowed smartphones from my friends when they visit me.

 Cool

If possible do not bother with cardboard, you are going to have a pretty bad experience. Especially if you have a very cheap cardboard headset, the lenses are really bad and it is uncomfortable to wear.

One step up would be a Oculus Go or WMR for about 200 euro.

Solutions like cardboards are something would harm vr in long term. Because people will try them and think this tech is sucks and will avoid vr systems at all.
