1-Me tengo que registrar en algun lado para minar?
si, debes registrarte en algun grupo de mineria para hacer mineria, tambien puedes hacer mineria por tu cuenta iniciando el cliente bitcoin con la opcion -d. puedes participar en Bitcoin Pooled Mining o en Deepbit. luego de haberte registrado debes crear un trabajador o worker, ellos sirven para que tu cliente particpe en el grupo de mineros, consta del nombre del worker y una contraseña. 2-Cuantos y cuales soft son requeridos para minar?
para hacer mineria solo debes usar uno, existen de dos tipos, Los que usan tu CPU para minar, los que usan tu GPU (proveniente de tu tarjeta de video, si fuera una ATI o una NVIDIA) y existen otros con los que puedes escoger cual unidad de procesamiento usar (CPU/GPU). yo en GNU/Linux uso el minerd de jgarzik que puedes encontrar en este post, usa CPU. se sabe que actualmente la mejor manera de hacer mineria es con GPU. 3-Los bitCoins son archivos que quedan en mi maquina...como hago para "tradearlos" con otras personas o comprar cosas?
no, los bitcoins viven en la red de internet. ellos tienen "tatuado" tu llave publica que indica que ese dinero es tuyo, todos en la red lo saben (incluso yo), cuando se realiza una transaccion, tu le agregas la llave publica de la persona a la que daras tus bitcoins y firmas el monto con tu llave privada secreta (que esta en wallet.dat si usas el cliente oficial y que debes proteger como a tus propios ojos, si no usas el cliente oficial y tienes na cuenta en mybitcon.com puedes "relajarte") y la transaccion es anunciada a todos los demas, ellos deberan confirmar la transaccion, es cuando puedes ver como tu billetera comienza a engordar  . estas transacciones no son veloces cuando lo haces de valores menores a 0.1 btc, puedes cerrar el cliente o apagar la compu sin problemas ya que esto no afectara que el dinero "llegue" a tus bolsillos! si tienes mas dudas solo postea!  |

hola gente! hace unos dias que comenze esta cruzada de traducir la wiki bitcoin.it al español, no llevo mucho, tan solo parte de la introduccion, que serian 4 articulos de los 332 que existen actualmente. les pido ayuda para trabajar en la traduccion, ya que sin una version de esa wiki al español sera dificil que la gente pueda encontrar informacion facil de comprender cuando investigan sobre este fenomeno del Bitcoin. no sé si los chicos de norteamerican premian por la labor realizada de los traductores, sospecho que eso de las premiaciones es cosa de cada grupo de usuarios por lengua, espero que no sea asi :-|. las reglas para la traduccion son sencillas, no usar google translate para realizar la traduccion final (es valido si deseas traducir una palabra o una oracion para tratar de entender que desea expresar el texto ingles, por ejemplo) y puntuan, tildar como se debe. tampoco creo que deban hacer una traduccion literal, mientras la idea sea la misma es posible expresarla como nuestros hermanos hispanohablantes puedan comprenderla mejor. seria bueno que llevasen un orden de los articulos traducidos, por ejemplo, terminar la introduccion para luego ir con primeros pasos... saludos y a la carga compañeros!! |

estaba leyendo el hilo "bitcoins en mexico", idea que me parece muy genial y les deseo la mas grande de las suerte (recomiendo que se unan en una organizacion o algo asi, los embajadores del bitcoin). algo que me llamo la atencion de ese hilo es el reconocimiento de la problematica que tenemos nosotros los latinoamericanos y de otros paises mal al sur, el cambio de Bitcoins a otras monedas o inclusive a nuestra propia moneda. quizas ahora mismo y a corto plazo no podremos comprar o vender bitcoins con nuestra propia moneda, pero podemos pedir a las casas de cambio existentes que implementen al menos, servicios como paypal o moneybookers... ...lo peor es que las transferencias bancarias internacionales tienen una cuota de unos USD$35  ... si existe uno o varios aristocrata latino por acá podrian formular un servicio de cambio de moneda o algo similar... bueno, aun asi, ya deje mi queja en busqueda de una solucion para todos nosotros quienes hablamos español... (hacer un mining ring por pais latino ayudaria a crear una casa de cambio latinoamericana, no seria genial?) |

By all means, continue to rage against the machine, but I have a feeling that no available mobile operating system will satisfy your high standards. As for the rest of us, we really need to find a practical solution to the bitcoin portability problem, and Android seems to be the best fit. yeah, Android look like the best option, but, in Zimbabwe can buy a android phone? even can they buy a Nokia 2730? we have to think in a nation with the worst technology to make something useful starting there, idk if you understand me! :p some people say Open Source open minds i preferred Free software for free society is more transcendental ! |

What we need is an MP3-player-ish Bitcoin dispenser Fallout style. ;^)
It should have a LCD display to show balance/transfer status etc, and two dispensers should have syncing ability (wired or wireless).
Another requirement would be dual flash chips and/or memory cardslot for redundancy.
Obviously this would take some development by a company with deep pockets.
better idea, have a version in java of the bitcoin official's client for cellphones (like for my Nokia 2730 Classic, for example) wich you have a bitcoin address and you can charge it with some money, so, you go to a..... idk, a Cafe, for example, and plug the bluetooth on to receive the bitcoins address of the Cafe and pay what you eat... anyway, there exist the Bit bills too!  |

hello! yeah, i'm searching for the owner of http://www.bitcoinmap.com/ because i want to know if he can share the .kml file what he use to he's map... because i want to use it for combined it in another free software project, OpenStreetMap (their maps use CC BY-SA license) and OpenLayers. these two free (free like in free speech) use javascript. i want to make a updated map version of where is used the bitcoins with the map legend's "User, Exchange, Merchant, Group and Miner" for the spanish version of the wiki bitcoin.it. take a look of what i do running Mint gnu/linux in a virtual machine and taking a screenshot of the markup places with the map of OpenStreetMap project!  maybe i can show more points... i dont know, i need some help with the .kml file :-| |
