to Zig owners,
do not use untrusted or untested image. because some of them usually have phpbash.php, cc99 and powny. they are illegal software or scripts. some of them has extra user like pi or fa. please be attention of these.
phpbash and pi/fa users are present in the factory image.

I would say no, the SPx36 seems to require the Artesyn2000 supplies explicitly, but don't take me word for it as I don't have a unit to test with ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

That is the entire point of a test network, after all ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

GPUs don't have a huge advantage?
You mean you can cram 12 CPUs on a single board? Even if you find a way to do it, how much power draw will they have? How much space they are going to take? How noisy? You can just go in any computer shop and buy these CPUs and a single motherboard?
I would agree that: CPU mining Cryptonight is also profitable, but GPUs will always have advantage.
You have a severe misunderstanding of how these algorithms work if you think GPUs have any advantage.

I suspect due to reputation issues, many people were upset with how they handled the RR-200/210 release and the fact that they secretly mined for nearly 8 months before "launching" the product. Same with the fact that they still only manufacture 28nm chips, they are very clearly looking to make a quick profit. It is too bad really, as their builds are of good quality.
If anybody has a Z1 or Z1+ can you please try to access /phpbash.php or /webroot/phpbash.php - there may be an unauthenticated backdoor in the latest firmware.
It works, console shows up in browser. But what is the difference from regular ssh? If you forward the miner out to the internet there is no authentication, anybody can hijack your miner.

Does anyone know who's behind the Dayun mining company? It seems quite secretive with very little information available online.
I've heard rumours them being the Pinidea company ( www.pinidea.io) with new name? But I haven't been able to confirm this. There is no doubt, the firmware is nearly identical to RR-210 complete with FPGA programming tools. There is even a copy of the RR-210's bitstream. Also, check /etc/config.cfg: password = "admin"; hostname = "pinidea"; frq = 800; fan = 1; asic = 50;
Disassembly of the miner binary also hints that they may have ASICs for lyra2z and neoscrypt that have yet to be publicly released. We will see ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Dayun Miner is the new name for PinIdea. It is evident just from the design and build quality of the miner - which is very good, I might add.
Can somebody get a full raw image of the USB key (dd clone) instead of just the files?

Or sell a 20kH/s CN miner for a few weeks then roll out a 240kH/s version (like Baikal did). To be fair, it's simply a larger chassis. The hashboards in the N+ are the same, they are likely trying to liquidate useless inventory faster. Any return on those boards is better than just scrapping them, so they will do whatever is necessary to sell. It's not as if Baikal cares anyway, the fact that they had minimum of 5 months of secret mining is indisputable. The earliest mining date I was able to independently confirm was on September 3rd last year, and they operated almost continuously until March 11th. Thanks to cooperation from the administrators at one XMR pool, I confirmed Baikal fetched 3605 XMR between December 11th and March 11th. In addition to mining at this XMR pool, we know they used Nicehash sometimes, as well as some ETN pool that does not exist anymore. Since we had to rely on the characteristics of flash memory to glean this knowledge, there's a chance we're only just scraping the surface of their secret rewards. PinIdea did the same thing too. After analyzing the clues they left behind the earliest confirmed date for the RR-200 submitting valid CN work was September 15th. They used their own pool though, so no clues to the scale of their operation remain. But based on how early they had a working device, it's safe to say they they too had a small farm for sure.

The specs on this Microsemi FPGA are far too weak to even do a single instance of Cryptonight. To get the hashrate he's claiming you'd have to run multiple instances of the algorithm simultaneously, especially since FPGAs have many limitations preventing high clock speeds.

No. The FPGA is used to generate nonces and a few other management-related tasks. There is still a regular ARM CPU on Bitmain & Innosilicon gear which runs the Linux userland, the web interface, cgminer etc.

@Bathmat is not changing IPs immediately, so the old address will work, but you should update your configuration to use the new "minercartel.com" address soon.

I'm interested both from an end-user and a developer perspective. Hope to see some more information soon ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

OK, I found another E3-1270 (4c/8t 3.4GHz SR00N) which I'll sell for 8.25 mBTC / $70. Bit cheaper than the current market price ($82 cheapest on eBay). How do you want to handle the escrow?

It actually sold on eBay this morning, unfortunately... I might have another one kicking around so I'll check, but they go for ~ $50 shipped.

Just a little more evidence that Halong's DCR/SC rigs were made by Inno... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FDcJZ_mrVQAA0fb9.jpg%3Alarge&t=663&c=JjRtFuhNwvhLww)

I have approximately 40 L3+ hash boards available for sale. During their operational lifespan they were never exposed to temperatures above 50c and were continuously operated in the same datacenter environment until they were decommissioned. These boards are all manufactured in July 2017. Due to their age they have been modestly overclocked - all boards are known to operate flawlessly at a minimum of 155 MH/s (nearly 25% above stock). No filth, corrosion, burns or discoloration - having only run in a proper environment means these hash boards are nearly mint condition.
Price is starting at $200/ea for one board, $175/ea for two to four boards, and $150/ea for five or more. Free shipping to the lower 48. BTC or XMR preferred, fiat can be handled via eBay...
I am interested in trading 3 boards in exchange for a PinIdea RR-210 or Baikal Giant N. Contact me if you're interested in trading equipment or are just looking for more detailed photos.

Do you have a board with an E3 compatible chipset? I have an E3-1230 (4 core/8 thread 3.2GHz) collecting dust, if so.
