Try setting your first pool to something other than nicehash.
also noticed: -check-testnonce": false, w/ #xnsub added.

BAH this is so frustrating.

I created a new boot drive using an extra USB I had laying around, and literally nothing happens when I put it in except the fans turning on.

The red light appears to always be on or flashing as well.  I think I got a defective one.

Anyone know how I contact Dayun to try and send it in?

Well I finally got it working (ish)  It had to do with requiring a static IP vs a dynamic one.  I had to go into my router and set a static IP and then followed a video sent by my chinese supplier (which was super helpful) to set it up.

NOW I just have a bunch of rejected shares at Suprnova... fml.

Can you PM that video ? I have similar issue

It's barely worth fixing it. If you can send it back and get a refund I highly suggest it. Chances are the chips will burn out after 24 hours of mining anyway. This miner is literally a joke.

Nothing I can do about it at this point in terms of refund.  If one of the boards doesn't give out I'll just muddle through and hope to get most of the money back... or at least some.

Not the best overall,. but I followed that, after updating the firmware, setting it to a static IP in my router, and creating a new boot drive.

Currently I am trying it at 800 Mhz to see if that makes it more stable... I will let you know the results.

From what I can tell, it REALLY doesn't like running at 900 mhz.  at 800 mhz (admitted its only been 20 minutes) I have a much more even distribution of shares per hash board, and MUCH lower rejected shares (miningpoolhub rejecting about 1% instead of 15% at 900 mhz on suprnova)  I may inch it up later but  want to test this for 12 hours or so first.

My set up is 1 antminer apw3++ and 1, 800 watt gold PSU.  I have the 800W PSU powering 1 hash board and the control board because at 120v the APW3++ only does 1200w... so I didn't want to risk it.  I may have better luck if I had 220v, but being in the U.S. makes that hard.

part of your issues is likely using two power supplies you need to use one or you may end up permanently frying it

I was worried too, but everyone I spoke to that has been doing this for a while said it is fine as long as you don't use 2 PSU's for 1 hash board.

Its running great now, just LOUD.  Suprnova (verge) Lyra2Rev2 pool is horrendous, 15-20% error rate.  1-4% on MPH.

My short term numbers are all over the map, but its about 6300 mh/s  I have it set at 825 mhz instead of 900 so its a bit lower than the advertised.  If this runs for a while without issue I will up to 850

Its hard to get an exact because I kept restarting it at different pools until settled on MPH.  I really want to mine Verge (Lyra2Rev2) but the only pools have only 1 or 2 miners, and I don't want to base it all on luck.  So its Mona or Vertcoin on MPH for me.

hi all

if you are looking for a Z1 good deal, beware of pretending vendor emantronic.com, it's definitely a scammer!

His domain name has been registered 10 days ago in Canada, while he claim to be in Finland... WHOIS it!

The only image he published in the listing (https://www.emantronic.com/products/dayun-zig-z1-6-8-gh-s-psu-include) has been grabbed from the net; do an image search with google an see...

I've just had an email chat with him unveiling his bad faith.
IMHO it's a Russian guy trying to cheat some naive persons hoping to get a Z1 at nearly half of his current price.

Beware of everyone selling it on these days for less than 5000 USD, especially if claiming prompt delivery from China;
from October 1st to 7th it's China-PDR National Holiday, ALL business is on ice, DHL and other couriers totally inoperative...

By the way, I've bought one Z1 ($4400, received yesterday) from "5111.store", that's a real vendor even though it has not been an easy deal at all.
He says to be located in Hong Kong with stuff on stock ready to ship, but actually he buy the miners in Shenzhen (HKG neighbor city in China) after having collected orders and got your money.

From order issue to shipping I had to wait 5 fucking days keeping pushing him hard to make fall his lies in order to avoid the CN festivity global paralysis...

Have a nice mining!

Dayun Miner is the new name for PinIdea. It is evident just from the design and build quality of the miner - which is very good, I might add.

Can somebody get a full raw image of the USB key (dd clone) instead of just the files?

Can anyone here confirm the wattage used by the Dayun Zig Z1? Will one Bitmain APW3++ operating from a 120V outlet suffice? I don't have 230V in my apartment. Advertised usage of the Z1 is 1200w and the bitmain is 1200w but I doubt that because of conversion effeciency so I guess I'll need to use a spare atx PSU. Do I just do 8 connectors from the bitmain to the hasboards and one atx psu to the control board? Will this be enough?

I doubt the control board uses much power. Connect 1 board (2x connectors) to the spare PSU. Rest to Bitmain PSU.
