201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Primecoins Exchange / Trade Thread on: July 07, 2013, 09:30:39 PM
1 xpm @0.01BTC  Wink
I hope thats not your selling price, or is atleast a joke... ppc/btc .001   lol
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Your XPM (PrimeCoin) - For LTC on: July 07, 2013, 09:26:54 PM
People will only get what other are willing to buy for...  in the end.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Your XPM (PrimeCoin) - For LTC on: July 07, 2013, 09:21:38 PM
it takes 3200 confirms to mature coins which is 3200 minutes which is 2-3 days. Now 1 xpm @ 0.01BTC convert into ltc  Cool
PPC right now is 1.8 btc per 1k - 1.8btc = 50.5 LTC.

Primecoin is brand new, back in the day when coins came out we started at around 5ltc per 1k, it usually ran up to 40 or 5o ltc per 1k, but latelty people think they can charge that right off the bat.

The devs also stated they can retract the blocks, hence losing what you bought anyway, so this also drives the price down at the moment, not that there is a price for this coin yet.

So keep that in mind if you have PrimeCoin to sell me. Wink
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Buying Your XPM (PrimeCoin) - For LTC on: July 07, 2013, 09:15:18 PM
I want to buy your PrimeCoin you mined, Ill be paying in LTC, no I will not be paying retail or an absurd price, its new, we start with new prices, its not worth anything yet, so dont ask for a ridiculous price.

PM me with how much you want to sell and we can hash out deal, we can use a escrow if someone has a wallet, or I will send first to reputable members only, otherwise we will do small batches just to make sure.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2013, 08:55:40 PM
I will buy your xpm, if you want to sell shoot me a pm with how much so I can offer you a price in ltc.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Primecoins Exchange / Trade Thread on: July 07, 2013, 08:54:00 PM
come someone tell me what the block rewards are for primecoin?

I want to buy some primecoin, in exchange for ltc, just trying to get a feel for where to start?
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PXC(Phenixcoin) Mining guide. on: July 07, 2013, 07:21:43 PM
Good job man, I think PXC is the only alt to mine other than LTC, but you do a good job with helping the devs throwing this stuff out there.

Thanks for appreciation. I do this because I love the whole PXC community.
I know, PXC is one of the only that actually has a team of very experienced developers, with a lot of money so you know it was never a pump and dump "well we know that now". PXC was the only coin that the devs wanted to stay off of cryptsy and successfully took it off after cryptsy put it up, unlike these other coins that celebrate getting on cryptsy and coins-e right away lol, what a joke.

Also all the development they have put out, plus the community of PXC is better than other alts ive seen, I wish more people could see the potential here.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2013, 07:10:00 PM
Ok, so its similar to PPcoin, with slight variations, so whats stopping someone from improving on primecoin in the same way, and then someone else improving a little on that, and so on... I just dont see anything here.

How is this different from all the other crap coins? What makes it scientific? I dont see an explanation here... ?
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2013, 05:47:24 PM

212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ► ► ► NOW ACCEPTING ORDERS FOR LEALANA PHYSICAL SILVER LITECOINS! on: July 07, 2013, 05:09:49 PM
Smoothie   How many coins are left?     This is something you should update the public on, and hopefully you should know this?
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ► ► ► NOW ACCEPTING ORDERS FOR LEALANA PHYSICAL SILVER LITECOINS! on: July 07, 2013, 05:08:47 PM
Youll only get compensated for the coins weight in silver though $10, thats it, which is less than the shipping cost, the postal service will never recognize the value of the LTC, and the high premium hes charging on top of that. Hell, the LTC is not even in the coin until you tell him you got it.

You will get compensated for whatever the invoice / customs form says. You are not compensated for things that are made of silver for their melt value, you are compensated for what you paid. The LTC's are not shipped loaded on the coin. That happens after you receive them.

Didn't mean to create a problem here. Was really just looking to get an option on the shipping charges that didn't increase risk.
Hmmm, I dont know....
I guess we'll see, if people actually receive their coins, they should post pictures of them.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coins are Going to Fail on: July 07, 2013, 05:05:48 PM
IFC has made me a surprising amount of money  Smiley

hmm

it worked out as 5x more than ltc to mine  Smiley ( mined the first 5 days )
of course, we always make money on the new crap alts because newbs buy them thinking they will have real value. But we all know the reality is LTC is the only valuable alt, sure you can make more on a pump and dump coin right now, but you wont when its dead a week from now, but ltc will still be there.

There is a LTC thread.

Maybe thread doesn't mean what you think it means?

As for a dedicated Litecoin board.  Mods have indicated it will not happen.  This is bitcointalk.org
Thread Board, whatever it may be.

Yes I Know this is BITCOIN talk, I mention that up there.
But BITCOIN talk.org has a alt. currency board, so why not one dedicated to LTC, I have seen the LTC forum, it is obviously not what this forum is, even though this may be BITCOIN talk.org, for bitcoins, its where everyone in the crypto currency community comes for all coins, thats just fact, so since we are already there, lets open a LTC board.

This comes up like, every two weeks.

When he said the mods have indicated it will not happen, he's legit, I've seen it too.

It's funny to watch every one who thinks it's a great new idea though.
i know, and I also didnt say it was new, did I? Just wanted to get people opinions.

Im a big litecoin fan but your argument is the guys trading in the other alts dont know what they are doing is just wrong. They are making more money mining other coins. Its a free market litecoin has its own forum heck altcoins have their own forum lets support those options. The Mods have already answered this question a million times.

Try these:
https://cryptocointalk.com
http://www.digitalcurrencytalk.com/
http://www.altcointalk.co.uk/
https://forum.litecoin.net/
Yea, it seems like there is just as many new forums coming out as there is new coins.... the fact is, this forum is where its all at, and we all know that, so lets just grow on it.

Its sad to see so many people supporting all these pump and dump copy of a copy coins.

I think we need a new thread (board) on this forum, a LTC thread, and this alt. currency thread can be kept here for all the noobs and their novelty coins.

For real investors and those of us smart enough to know what to buy and throw our hashing power at, I think LTC deserves its own section on the forum.
