201  Economy / Economics / Re: $50k to Invest - Convince Me! on: June 15, 2014, 05:34:14 PM
If this guy is asking an advice from strangers in this forum, how long do you think his money will last?

Is it a must to ask someone I know well "family, friends" to be convinced ?
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin for safe keeping? on: June 15, 2014, 05:30:25 PM
I can't understand you.

If you meant a safe wallet, then I would suggest the paper wallet.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Town Podcast on: June 15, 2014, 05:23:39 PM
I'm here not to suggest a guest, but to tell you, the idea is brilliant.

Why you try to host an online radio as a future move ?

You can also record that hangout or Skype conversation, and make YouTube channel and post it there.

You can reach the world, make it spread Smiley

It will be on YouTube, I am already posting videos.

May you share with us your YT channel, if you don't mind.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is just a matter of time on: June 15, 2014, 05:19:37 PM
At last !!

This is what I'm saying from ages.

Just give time some time and bitcoin will go viral.

It's a step by step and we are going in the right direction.

It's not HYPE that will die soon. This is an business system.
205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 3D printer to be sent to the ISS in August on: June 15, 2014, 05:16:28 PM
Oh noes!  They're going to be printing guns in outer space!!!

Seriously, I wonder what micro gravity will do to the layering.

This is a good question, for sure it will affect the layering in a way or another.

I'm waiting to see how will this work, as I like the 3D printing field.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are u mining directly? on: June 15, 2014, 05:12:04 PM
Try and test, you will never know the answer, unless you try and test and calculate the profit.

I always have the best answers when I try, go on and give it a try.
I would give it a try, but the information provided on the net is so  different and many positive and negative feedbacks from different sites.
BR

For that reason, I told you to test it yourself.

I was experiencing lately something in my real life, I thought I will get it to run flawlessly, but I was an idiot.

I tried again and I'm nearly mastering it, you must test and be willing to experience it.
207  Other / Meta / Re: How to gain that green trust score ? on: June 15, 2014, 05:10:20 PM
Be honest, transparent and get to know the community with trades and you'll get trust soon enough.  Smiley

Yes, I know.

I'm not running after them, I just wanted to know how can I get them.
208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading website ..?? on: June 15, 2014, 05:09:12 PM

209  Other / Meta / Re: Why not open a new market for domain selling and such under the digital goods ? on: June 15, 2014, 05:07:12 PM
Yeah, not really needed in my opinion. There is a lot, but the digital goods forum would be pretty bare if we moved all the domains to their own section.

What section you mean bro ?
210  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 15, 2014, 05:04:22 PM
I'm sorry, but still I didn't get your new game idea, could please elaborate more.

Are you familiar with stock trading or forex trading?? Basically the stock market and how it works. its the same concept just editing out all the big guy who have a lot of money to make the market move where ever they want.

I got, what you want to say their won't be any whales or sharks who is controlling the market.

It's community driven by ONLY the bitcoin community members. Right ?

Exactly, also there will be a limit to how much one person can invest to keep it fair.

To be honest, I raise the hat for you.

I like it so much, and the many people around here asking about investing, they can invest in it.

What are you thinking about in the next step ?
211  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Marketplace that can't steal your money. on: June 15, 2014, 05:01:31 PM
@joshraban76 sorry, didn't get your point.
Didn't you miss that "2. There are 2 private keys needed to sign transaction."?

@Newar why do you think it is so dead?

No problem.

You say

3. One key is stored on the Marketplace server.

What if

1. The server is hacked ?
2. The owner is greedy and decided to seal ?
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Re: Bitcoin-QT client question on: June 15, 2014, 04:59:50 PM
I doubt it can be destroyed, but if for anon., you have many other choices.
213  Other / Meta / Re: Why not open a new market for domain selling and such under the digital goods ? on: June 15, 2014, 04:29:37 PM
Marketplace already has a lot of subforums. I don't think making new ones is a good idea.

But the digital goods forum is messy, I've been into a lot of online marketplaces and it hurt my eyes and concentration when I see many un-releated items for sell under one ceiling.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I get near exact predicitons for bitcoin price in the coming 48 hours ? on: June 15, 2014, 04:25:56 PM
Thank you for the replies.

But what is hedging ?

216  Other / Meta / Re: If you're not sure about something, don't state it authoritatively! on: June 15, 2014, 04:22:39 PM
I like your topic, I admit, I've made mistakes, but I didn't mean it.

Everyday I learn.
Everyday I make mistakes.
Everyday I learn again and share what I've learn.

The loop continues.
217  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Marketplace that can't steal your money. on: June 15, 2014, 04:11:01 PM
You said, the second key is stored on the marketplace server.

Then your point about the marketplace is hacked or owner is stealing your wallet is invalid.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your percent chance that Bitcoin will be the "Myspace" of cryptos? on: June 15, 2014, 04:08:54 PM
If you look at history, you will see that currencies tend to last for hundreds of years before being replaced.  Comparing currencies to social networks makes no sense.

He was not comparing, he wanted to know whatever if bitcoin is a hype that will die soon, or not.

Exactly. I know the Myspace analogy technically isn't that great of one. I'm speaking more in terms of Bitcoin being over-hyped and there potentially being a better successor to come along.

I advice you to read more and more about bitcoin.

Everyday, I'm loving this this.

It will change the world and how we are paying for your daily products and subscriptions, etc.

It won't die, what could die is the alternative coins like litecoin, doge coin, .. etc.
219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to understand Mining Pool... on: June 15, 2014, 04:05:54 PM
It's not a must for the pool owner to have mining rig.

Mining pool in a simple term, group of miners, connected via internet to a large virtual place, server which is located at a data center.

Their hashing powers are combined together, when more and more miners are joining, the more profit they are making.
220  Other / Meta / Re: Why not open a new market for domain selling and such under the digital goods ? on: June 15, 2014, 03:58:30 PM
+1
There are way too many people buying and selling domains.
It would make it easier for others not looking for these.  Roll Eyes

Thank you Smiley

If this had success, we could also make sub-forums for accounts, keys, games, ..... etc.
