201  Economy / Economics / Re: People are extremely biased towards bitcoin. on: January 12, 2018, 11:17:24 AM
I don't understand why we call "biased" people with strong believes.
If I put money somewhere, it because I think it will bring me good results, so of course I'm "biased".
But that doesn't mean that that I can't change my mind if I receive new informations.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitcoin react to a global financial crisis? on: January 12, 2018, 10:53:28 AM
It depends very much from the extension of the crisis. If the infrastructure resists, there is the possibility to assist to a crash of traditional economy, and bitcoin may be will save us from disaster. Who knows?
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: January 12, 2018, 10:49:29 AM
It's always a good thing to be smart, and it's always a good thing to be strategic. Actually, it's smart to be strategic.
Without strategy, you move without a clear directions, so the possibility to achieve something of value is very low.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: January 12, 2018, 10:46:37 AM
Probably in a far future we'll live in a cashless society.
But at present there is still a long way, as there are billions of people without bank account or cell phone.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Make Money From The Bitcoin Crash on: January 12, 2018, 10:38:34 AM
It seems that a lot of people hope to see a bitcoin crash :-)
Actually, I don't think there will be a crash in the immediate future; what happens in these days is just a normal correction after a crazy growth
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin supply on: January 12, 2018, 10:34:02 AM
There is a misunderstanding: bitcoin supply increases every day by mining.
What you can't increase is the speed of production.
So, as anyone knows, in any moment there will be a fixed amount of bitcoin in circulation
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 12, 2018, 10:31:41 AM
Money produce money only if you know how to do: there are a lot of people that have money, and lose it with bad decision.
So, money is important, but more important is the mind that use it.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 10:29:08 AM
In the next future, any big company will be forced to accept cryptocurrency.
Of course, there is the possibility that any corporation will create his own currency, this will be a very interesting situation.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: January 12, 2018, 10:26:46 AM
It depends: for trading, volatility is blessing, because if you know the job it's what allows you to make big gains.
Of course, if you want to use bitcoin as currency, too much volatility creates confusion.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: January 12, 2018, 10:23:36 AM
Well, if trading was predictable, anyone here would be billionaire!
But trading is not gambling, and it's not random: with good analysis, you can make good choices in the majority of the situations.
211  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: January 05, 2018, 01:02:26 AM
To "motivate" you have to give a "motive", a "reason". This can be some kind of value (positive) or some coercition (negative).
I mean, the secret is to convince who you what to motivate, that to work is better that doing nothing :-)
212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does a college degree still matter in the digital age? on: January 05, 2018, 12:05:25 AM
To make it in today world you need a lot of know how, you need to be really good and really prepared. If you act in a traditional field, of course a degree is necessary. But in new domains, school don't give anything useful to you. Actually, you lose time to learn unrelated things, and you pay a lot of money for them.
But you need experience. So, work in the field, and find a mentor.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of Money on: January 04, 2018, 11:59:41 PM
Money is a fascinating subject, and I'm pretty sure that 99% of population can't give an acceptable answer to the question "What is really money?"
(and of course government profit from this ignorance).
The problem with crypto is that - as a decentralized system - is independent from a central power, and THIS is the real revolution (and I'm very happy to be here making part of it :-) )
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 03, 2018, 11:37:35 AM
You make money doing the right choices, which sometimes implies to use money as a tool.
If you put money in the wrong place, you'll lose it and that's all.
So, focus your attention on a good strategy, you'll see that money will be easy to find.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 09:53:35 AM
Kids - and about 99% of adults...- need a basic financial education, as they have no idea what money really is and how to earn and manage it.
Of course, is would be a good idea to learn about bitcoin and blockchain, but... first the basics! :-)
216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All Muslims are terrorist? on: January 03, 2018, 01:45:43 AM
It seems to me a nonsense question, as it's obvious that it's false. But I understand that you are angry due to massive mainstream propaganda that has specific interests to present all Muslims as terrorist. Of course, brainwashed people will believe to their tv set.
But there are plenty of people that can see beyond these lies.
217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fantasy vs Reality on: December 31, 2017, 02:28:27 PM
The border between fantasy and reality is not so clear, sometimes.
In a lot of social situation, "reality" is just a shared fantasy.
Usually, the best test is if what you believe reality is, it offers a predictable model of cause/effect.
218  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hypnosis on: December 31, 2017, 02:20:30 PM
There is a lot of misunderstanding in the field, and people believe that with hypnosis you can achieve some kind of superpower.
I'm a trained hypnotist, and I can assure that real hypnosis has nothing to do with you can see in movies.
It's a mind state of high suggestibility, and you can access sleeping resources of the mind, but nothing magic.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 02:15:32 PM
At present probably bitcoin is too unstable to be used in standard economy; but in the short therm you can bet that anyone wil be forced to accept bitcoin.
220  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 27, 2017, 10:22:14 AM
Well, of course - with anonymity - it's easier to make black payments, but this is true also with cash or with other forms of value.
I don't think that bitcoin could be related directly with corruption problems.
