I don't understand how Intellihash can possibly work unless the chips are gimped from the start due to inefficient firmware. Chips: "Mining difficulty is increasing, we are now able to activate hashing thrusters because they couldn't be activated at a difficulty of x.xx Ph but can be at x.xx+.01 Ph..." For it to be anything other than initially gimped hashing power, it would require some as of yet undiscovered mathematical connection between difficulty and hashing rate. Whereby the ActM chip logic can use the increased difficulty to its advantage over other chips.
Otherwise why couldn't this be solved simply through a firmware update? Or is this Intellihash actually making the chips themselves upgradeable to some extent?
Edit: Not that I am an expert in this or calling Ken a liar, I just don't understand how this works.
He won't answer questions on here. Your best bet is to phone him tomorrow. Everyone would like to know how he would answer this. N.D.A probably, but I'd tip whoever could report back with this info.

I'm down for what you're trying to do, but as an investment I'm not so sure. You are essentially just investing in a broad-range of businesses in an ever-changing, brand-new industry that is fraught with uncertain pressures from the government. All the more power to you, but too risky for me to want to invest.

I'm sure he is working dilligently on the miners but some thing that can be applicable to any miner is a great idea. Ken seems to be creating a well diversified company.
Didn't we have something like 1.7 TH/s unaccounted for? Although it is most likely the prototype, 307 GH/s from the Klondikes is roughly ~18% of that... Either way, I am pretty excited if this Intellihash thing is for real.

This whole 'Anti-troll movement' is getting out of hand. It has been pointed out before that if you have such a big problem with trolls, crumbs, or his cats, then just ignore them!
"Cheerleading" can be used to manipulate the price for profit just as much as using "FUD" can be to short stocks.
The ONLY detriment I can see that can come from trolling on this thread is potential loss of future customers. That being said, I've also heard the argument that we should be focusing primarily on our mining farm to begin with.
All the clutter on this thread isn't necessarily because of the trolls themselves. Rather, it is because there are lots of people who genuinely like to argue with trolls.

The following offer has expired, as five people have signed up. I'm locking this thread, but to those who signed up: you can PM me with your BTC address when you reach the payout levels. Thank you, lobbes ----------------------------------------------------------------------- You've probably seen the other Goldentowns threads, so I'll just get to it.
I'm offering rewards only to the first 5 people who sign-up and play under my referral link.
I am offering accelerated rewards for your initial time spent in the game, but will cease rewards after level 10. By this time you will be making a return from the game itself.
I put the limits in place so I can guarantee payment. This entire offer can only cost me 0.0555 BTC. Since my liability is limited in this fashion, you can be sure that I won't run when the price of BTC shoots up.
Payout Structure:
Sign on Payout - 0.0001 BTC Level 5 Payout - 0.001 BTC Level 10 Payout - 0.01 BTC
Sum of all Payouts - 0.0111 BTC
I do reserve the right to adjust payouts in the future, but will attempt to gain a consensus in this thread before making any changes.
Reply with your Goldentowns username and BTC address once you've signed up and I'll send you your sign-up bonus of 0.0001 BTC
Again, this offer is on a first come, first serve basis. Expires once five people have been confirmed.
Referral link. You must sign up under this link to receive sign-up bonus!: www.goldentowns.com?i=59368

Disclaimer on GoldenTowns and Anno Labs: I do not recommend actually putting MONEY into the game (i.e buying gold), only time investment. Anno Labs, who makes GoldenTowns, has a track record of abandoning games after a few years and leaving them to rot. You CAN get a small return from the game, but just keep this in mind.
I play because I think I can make a little BTC off of mining in-game gold before Anno Labs jumps ship onto another project, and it is FREE. Again, I advise trying to play without investing a dime.

I confirmed on the thread. I appreciate you sending that message to GT admin; I actually enjoy the game but would rather not pay taxes to this guy if he's going to renege on his offer.

CrypticBits is a scammer. He offered payment after signing up as his ref and reaching certain level. When some people reached first goal he stoped responding. No answers for private message as well. Link to topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333865.0Confirm, CrypticBits is a SCAMER! +1 Confirmed. It has been 7 days since the first claim on the thread, and there has been no evidence of him paying anybody. He has not responded to questions or PMs.

I don't know why but the term "additional resources" really does it for me. This user is currently ignored.Crumbs: reassuringly ignorable. I think that's what you meant to say. +1 Page 182 was actually refreshing in terms of meaningful conversation. Let's keep it going

Ken: please let share-holders and investors know that all the shares are 'held OK', and nothing went missing-in-action.
"Sorry guys, my dog ate all the shares... " I understand the concern but if we trust Ken with our money, why is there so much apprehension with regards to the share transfers? If you followed the steps, you should be fine.

Those chips could also be Klondike, not necessarily the new eASICs.
Do you know what the estimated hashrate for the Klondikes was? I might be naive, but wasn't it 307 GH/s? "An order of Avalon chips from steamboat's batch #1, for 68 Klondike-16 boards, rated at 68*16*282 = 307 GH/s;"

EDIT: there wouldn't be much FUD if the workings of the company weren't left up to everyones imagination. Especially when important dates are near / passing
+1 +2 Ken, are we still on track for a November update on the company's progress?

ActiveMining will scam its customers but not voluntarily, incompetence should be enough.
Why do you think Ken hasn't deleted my posts lately? I am calling him out, and he's running like a bitch. If you were calling him out, wouldn't it make more sense to censor you?
