uh... he came out of nowhere, so I don't know about this PHCoin. They also have not contacted me for escrow or anything. I guess I'll just watch and see. Plus, it's not my line of thinking to just announce and then launch so quickly. I actually prefer a couple of weeks notice.

I am not from the Philippines; however, I have a feeling traveling to Philippines will be a regular thing once the Jobs Platform launches.
I've been to the Philippines over 20+ times in the last 4 years. Jobs are open to everyone (anywhere in the world) people can choose to become a freelancer or hire freelancers for their projects. This will happen about 30 days after the coin launches.
I would be open to attending and/or help organize a Bitcoin + PHCoin related meetup in the Philippines.

Yeah I understand why you think that, unfortunately 99% of people discussing this are misinformed or speaking out of self interest including journalists. The market depth for mastercoins under $50000 and the bitcoins you can sell for a little over $3million today. Great way to put it. |

They´ve raised millions of usd in the ipo. I think they should be able to manage this alone. Or if not, then they should hire someone wo can. They have the funds. That is my point; where is the funds going? An IPO is just collecting funds; but why is it you need 6 mill in funding? What are the plans for maidsafe other than funding its project?
