It's a similar situation to what China what was doing, South Korea wants banks to report who's depositing and withdrawing crypto, it's a regulatory thing to hold them accountable if or when something goes wrong - and let's be honest - they want to be able to tax cryptocurrency.

I think why people attract bitcoin than other crypto currencies is simply because bitcoin is the pioneer of all crypto currencies. It is more popular and price is really expensive compared to other crypto currencies. And bitcoin is the only crypto currency that we may able to convert into fiat currency. That's my thought.
