201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 20, 2014, 05:53:33 PM
At this point it's probably worth considering going back to physical miners and Nicehash because unless hashlet prices drop more and the zenpool rate stops going down you'll be kicking that ROI period very far into the future.

If you don’t hold it, you don’t own it. They can change the hashrate and value of your hashlet on a whim. Or whatever suits the bottom line. I think the end is getting near especially with BTC dropping, just my opinion.

Well if it is a Ponzi when things unravel, they will do it hard and fast.

Anyone that speaks out right before or during the unraveling will be attacked by any brainwashed supporters. This allows the criminals to make a clean get-a-way. So it is important for someone running a Ponzi to build a very loyal base of supporters in the beginning (free stuff/extra large payments/etc) to ensure your get-a-way. It will even take a while for the hardcore backers to realize they have been shammed too as well. Once they realize this they will be the most angry of the bunch but by then it will be too late.

How do I know? Personal experience. Lost a lot of money once.

I'm not saying thats what this is. I'm just describing what it looks like when Ponzi is discovered and runs its course.

So basically ANY company that has a lot of supporters could be a Ponzi scheme?

Check.

Got it.

No.. I'm just describing what it looks like while your in one.  I wish you the best of luck.

"You came to the store, insulted the owner and was shown the door. Simple cause and effect.
Don't tell me you're surprised."

What on earth are you talking about? I insulted no one!

Careful when posting to Hashtalk. The forum is completely under control. Only positive posts are allowed. You will  banned or negative action will be taken against your account. If you have a support issue you cant submit it to the forum because it makes GAWS look bad.

Seriously through, primedice is down everyday now. I have no idea why they upgraded their site without any testing whatsoever Stupid stupid move. People will and have gone elsewhere now.  Plus there was always something funky with the odds there when betting .01 or higher. This site looks like they have there s#$$# together..

210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality check on alts on: August 30, 2014, 03:27:40 AM
BTC was going up.. towards the end of the rally alts starting out performing BTC on percentage basis. So I got greedy.

During the correction BTC only lost half its value. But alts returned to their base and many even much much lower.

There is always the flavor of the month with alts.. They rally then collapse, then the new hype comes along and repeat. There is nothing to stop market entry for alts, but BTC will always have first mover advantage. That history can't ever be changed.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality check on alts on: August 30, 2014, 03:17:12 AM
I started investing in BTC when it was at $50. I accumulated 47BTC at a DCA of around $75.. After the huge rise to 1200, I got greedy and wanted to maximize my profit so invested most of my gains into alts. I now have almost completely lost it all. I will be 100% BTC moving forward other than the 4000 ETH that's locked in anyways until an unknown date if ever.

I got burned. it's BTC for me from here on out.

I'm already invested and cant take it back...

The only one coin and it's Bitcoin!

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum the altcoin killer? on: August 17, 2014, 09:07:19 PM
So basically BTC can provide every that is needed? If thats the case, why even bother with all this other crap?
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum the altcoin killer? on: August 17, 2014, 08:43:05 PM
I don't get your logic. Currently we have shit load of altcoins that somehow co-exist and we don't see everyone jumping on one (currently "best") altcoin.
Why do you think it would be different with Ether? Not to mention you can use Ether to create more altcoins.

Edit:
What exactly is ethereum?  Is it a crypto currency of its own or a platform for cryptos?

Both?

They co-exist but are rapidly being sold into oblivion. There is no barrier to entry and 100 of coins are being introduced every month. Huge multipools selling for a profit for BTC.  My 8 month honeymoon with alts are now over.  I'm now licking my wounds and sticking with BTC(asset) and now ETH(platform).. The only two that a feel have a future. I should have stuck with BTC from day one. I would have saved a heck of a lot of my money.

turning complete blockchain platform
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Ethereum the altcoin killer? on: August 17, 2014, 08:14:26 PM
I am starting to think so, why would you want any other altcoin when you have ethereum that can do it all?
219  Economy / Digital goods / Re: CoinDice 3.3 released! Start your own casino today. on: August 15, 2014, 03:13:33 PM
I have 3.2 and been hacked more than once. I dont know how  players are able to figure out what roles are going to fail and win. They role big on winning roles.. and only bet 1 on losing roles. They bet 1000x odd and win after five roles.  Lost over 130000WDC. I had to shut the site down.
