No probs. I think it's understandable this time around as we are all trying to ensure this fork is a success.
But unless we have another hard fork to synchronize, it's probably better to let the users do it next time?

You will have to ask one of the windows guys, but I'm gonna guess maybe you didn't delete all your files except the wallet.dat, and the (2) .conf files and resync from scratch?? maybe not though?? just guessing...

edit: I just realized I said only delete your peers.dat file, but essentially when you do a sync from scratch, you should always delete everything except the wallet.dat, and the (2) .conf files

you need to try with a backup of your wallet file
i had the same issue and it was the wallet.dat file that was corupt

I am syncing the desktop wallet now and just checked the node and its still on 2.0.2.0. Please could you give us shout when you are done updating and let us know if there is anything we need to manually change.

I assume you mean you'll mass update to v2.1.0.0 wallet (once out) which rolls back to block 259200? (and not the test v.2.0.4.0 out right now)
Once you are ready, please let us know exactly when they will and/or do get updated as some might want to update sooner without delay. Thanks!
