201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: January 07, 2018, 01:03:22 PM
Well, after buying and watching for the past 9 years. I'd say yeah.. it will keep increasing.  How much it will increase year after year changes but for one thing it does go up.    Has everyone been under a rock?  Alt coins come and go like the wind but Bitcoin just keeps on trucking.

In another 9 years, we'll all be sitting here wishing that we bought more at these ridiculously low prices.  I know I do when just looking back at 2011 and I was saying it's just another internet scam..  Then after educating myself on what it really was.. I bought in.

Trading just 3 years ago I was watching 10,000's btc  buy/sell walls getting eating like nothing.. where today it's 100's btc buy/sell walls.   In 3 more years, it'll probably be 10btc buy/sell walls and 3 after that will be 1 btc buy/sell walls.

Really has been interesting being a part of a growing phenomenon and it's still just the beginning.

"If you want low fees and payments, use BCH or wait for LN to mature."

Why, I already use LTC or ETH for low fee's and small payments.  BCH is looking to solve some problem that doesn't exist or there are already 1000 alt coins that do the same thing or better.   LTC just transfers so much faster. I sent some BCH and it took just as long as a BTC send. So in reality, it doesn't solve anything.

I am. I was 100% long and want some fiat on exchange for this weekend.  I’m now 98% long  Cheesy

Didn't want to offend you Cheesy

I thought it was funny.  Sold around $15998.   Let’s see how stupid I was on Monday !

I was thinking of doing the same drop around 2% to fiat... but damn.. this train has some legs.
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin domination era is over? on: January 04, 2018, 03:14:16 AM
Ok, show me how many are in actual circulation.  I'd like to see an address distribution list like the one for BTC.

Ripple.com/xrp/market-performance shows

Ripple currently owns 6.37 Billion XRP

Ripple escrow by 2017 end is 55 Billion xrp.

Total XRP in the wild is 38.622 billion xrp

The 38.622 billion xrp is in question. Try following the endless circles in ledgers is nearly impossible to deduce ownership or where the majority of those xrp currently reside.

We know that 20bn xrp were gifted to the original creators. Where are those accounts today? And the excess 18bn xrp, who are those top holders and addresses?

Perhaps there is a list of top 200 xrp addresses.

For that matter, which address is currently holding the 55bn xrp?

There's a lot of ummmm. no idea's but it's great going on here.

If you are dumb enough to believe the market cap.. then you deserve ripple.  LOL.. I can make a coin with a total of 100 Billion.  Give out 1 to myself and sell it for a dollar.  Wooohooo, my coin now has a 100 Million dollar market cap.   Remember when Banx.io had a coin up there with some crazy numbers.

$287,038.22
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin will be the 2nd larget by market cap? XRP or ETH on: January 02, 2018, 12:47:19 PM
Ripple is a fake market cap.  Can anyone actually say how many XRP's are in real circulation?  Just because I create 100 billion coins doesn't mean I actually gave anyone any.  I can give out 100 and keep the price inflated to 2 dollars forever and my marketcap would show almost 3 times as much as XRP's.

Just beware.. the XRP folks can throw another few billion into the mix and boom.. price crash.  They are just waiting for enough suckers to get in to cash out.

Ripple built 55 smart contracts using its own escrow feature released for public used in March, each holding 1 billion XRP and expiring on the first day of every month for a period of 54 months.

As each contract expires, the cryptocurrency will briefly become available for Ripple to use as it sees fit.

What most forget is Bitcoin is programmable.  There's no reason it can't adopt any new great discovery with enough consensus of the people that use it.  That's one of the things that makes Bitcoin great.  A bar of gold isn't going to change into something more usable ever.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2018, 12:58:00 AM
All I can say is wow, 628 Billion Market cap.  Money seems to be pouring in the crypto space.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) is a shame to the crypto-community. on: January 02, 2018, 12:26:43 AM
Yeah, I won't touch this stuff.  I remember mining the DNA sequence and sending work units for Ripple credits back in 2014.   There isn't a use for this centralized payment system.  Where to spend? What can I buy? Does it hold my value?  It's a pump/dump nightmare.

I can ask 100 people if they want me to send them 1 bitcoin.  80 of those people will say sure!!! Now ask the same 100 if they want Ripple and 0 would know what I was talking about.   No one has a clue what Ripple is and if they look, they still won't know since there is nothing to do with it and no one wants it.

Yeah, remind me to never ever trade on New Years Eve again.   The 10 dollars swings are getting to me. haha
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 09:58:48 PM
Think that is to show how great Bcash is supposed to be but in reality is looks like an abandoned highway with almost no use what so ever. LOL
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 08:52:46 PM
Ummm, they are so confused.   The Tax bill signed into law by President Trump of the U.S.A.  a few days ago, redefines all like of kind exchanges only for real estate and excludes crypto."  So they said it does not then say it does.  I think they have no damn clue what they are talking about.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 08:39:39 PM
Total market cap at 616 Billion opps 617 now.  Not sure if I've seen it that high before.  I just sold some of my  trade stash since I think we are at a small peak.  Who knows, it'll probably sky rocket since I did that.

218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 04:49:38 PM
Man that .6 I made on the way down is looking really good right now.  Cheesy   I'm starting to like JJG ride the ladder strategy.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2017, 04:17:35 PM
And we off again making those short leverage positions liquidate.   Of course, we won't see those posted on here. LOL
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hey guys do you think that Bitcoin price will continue decreasing ? on: December 31, 2017, 02:53:55 PM
I don't know anyone in their right mind that would take less than 10k/BTC.   Certainly know I would never sell mine below 10k.  I'd just hold it forever... then again if it goes to 500k/btc I wouldn't sell all of it maybe 1.
