this argument doesn't make any sense. you said bitcoin has no utility and thus it's useless. but here's the problem. all fiat currencies will also have no use if not forced by the governments. we are not the ones who dictate the rules. why do you use peruvian soles when you go to Peru and why not USD? because peruvian government force you to use soles and won't allow you to use USD to make any kind of purchase in the country. why do you use Euros and not USD when you go to germany? same answer.

A currency being forced to its people and thus they have value. That's literally the only reason why they have value. fractional gold reserve should have blown away the value of fiat if not manipulated by governments.

if it was up to a traveler like me, i would want everything to be in USD, as it would make my life much easier. But once again, they have value not because people like to use them, but because governments force us to use  fiats.

in context of currency, the only way for something to have value is if your government force you to use it. Thus, anything that is not forced, has no value. Using above example, peruvian soles only have value in peru and nearby south american countries (because you can trade in exchange services there), but bring the same soles to southeast asia, it would lose its value, because no forex service would accept soles. Does it mean peruvian soles have no value if not forced/used by peruvian government on peruvian people?

The same with PS4 games. if there's no PS4 gamer, what's the value of the game? $0. because nobody would buy it. people say for "entertainment" but entertainment is a very vague word as different individual has different definition of 'entertainment'. Thus, outside PS4 gamer community, PS4 game has 0 value.

Bitcoin is also the same. it has value because somebody else is willing to pay for it. outside crypto community where nobody is willing to pay for it, it's literally the same with PS4 game when you offer it to someone who doesnt play video game

sbnernya kalo dibilang harganya anjlok itu tidak benar. bitcoin skarang masih di kisaran $8500-$8900. mnurut saya ini masih sangat tinggi sekali. rata-rata orang pengennya break all time high terus padahal itu tidak mungkin. bitcoin dulu ketika drop dari $1000 ke $2xx an juga butuh waktu lumayan lama untuk bangkit lagi. Hanya masalah waktu saja. Tapi jangan berharap yang ngga-ngga. butuh waktu untuk bisa tembus $20K

tidak mungkin bro kcuali kalo ada perusahaan yang menganggap kalo teknologinya itu bukanlah blockchain. contoh IOTA dimana mereka menggunakan konsep berbasis DAG namanya Tangle tapi Tangle itu tetap bagian dari blockchain karena segala sesuatu yang melibatkan distributed ledger pada dasarnya adalah blockchain. mereka bilang teknologinya lebih maju dari blockchain dimana blockchain hanya bisa sekian2 per TPS, tapi ini salah kaprah. blockchain itu tidak dibatasi oleh berapa2 transaksi per TPS atau konsep proof of work. mau diubah segimana juga, mau jadi PoS ataupun transaksi 1 juta per second, itu tetap blockchain selama semua public transaction dicatet di distributed ledger via konsep decentralization.

dan semua blockchain pasti ada native currency nya karena kalau tidak maka sudah pasti tidak jalan karena tidak ada incentive nya bagi yang menyediakan nodes. makanya hampir semua DAG-based blockchain yang katanya transaksinya gratis itu sudah pasti servernya dikuasai oleh si foundationnya. contohnya IOTA atau NANO itu masih jarang orang di luar perusahaan utama yang menyediakan server karena konsep decentralization hanya bisa tercapai kalo ada incentive untuk yang menyediakan nodes (misalnya via mining untuk bitcoin atau via proof of stake untuk coin2 lainnya)

it's not false news that move the market. it's the trading bot. Typically several whales sell the coins to fiat (or USDT) when there are bad news and the trading bots just followed. that's what usually kill the market

good to hear. I invested in CMT but I changed my investment after february crash because i wanted to feel safer with my crypto investment. Problem with CMT is that they seem to keep it low profile. After they have their own blockchain, they should try to promote it in more aggressive way. competition is tough. with all the top coins keep upgrading their technology, CMT won't be recognized by most crypto enthusiasts if they dont step up their marketing game

in my opinion the best strategy to enter is to wait until there's a really potentially strong news. for example, when Binance CEO tweeted "M for Malta. it's beautiful" i moved a lot of my investments to BNB and it paid off...same with when cryptokorea tweeted that ICX would be listed in korean exchanges. it went up drastically.

That being said, of course we cant always rely on news. sometimes good news don't lift up the coin itself. Better to invest in 2 different strategies. one is long term strategy where we HODL the coins that we believe in...and second strategy is to play 'short term' where we invest in coins when they have really strong bullish news (such as ICX and BNB in above scenarios)

waiting will not change anything because nobody knows when will we go back to bullish market. it might be next week, it might be 2 months from now, it might be next year...you need to start thinking in 'long term' period because blockchain adoption is about to get real and cryptocurrencies will definitely benefit from it. Give it 12-24 months and for sure your investment will go up

depends on what you are looking for. most ICOs are looking for quick cash grab and they are losing their popularity real quick right now. Most ICOs launched in february and march are getting dumped on exchanges. You need to do your researches and only invest in ICOs that stand out from the rest. It won't be easy to find them

true. bitcoin is the standard digital gold for cryptocurrencies. it's the safe haven. altcoins will only rise if bitcoin rise. crypto crash in Q1 happened because bitcoin fell as well. meanwhile, altcoins rose a lot in december 2017 because bitcoin was already in bullish market for few months prior to December 2017. Bitcoin is the standard of cryptocurrencies at the moment

many people said the same thing when BTC reached $1000 for the first time and yet people proved them wrong over and over again. It's not too late for you because we are about to have massive blockchain adoption. Look at what Stellar is doing with IBM. it's about to get huge. Binance CEO also proved it to everyone that you can move your operation from country to country (hence why BNB is rising right now). Don't get me wrong. Honestly IDK if we are already out of bearish market, maybe we are not there yet, but there are still a lot to expect from crypto industry. When BTC went down from $1000 to $200, we needed awhile before we went up again. This time it might be the case as well but we will break ATH eventually for BTC and also for legit altcoins
