201  Bitcoin / Project Development / Need a javascript/jQuery guru on: April 24, 2013, 03:16:13 PM
I am in a dire need of a true expert with javascripting. Knowing how to write native javascript is a must, and some jQuery wont hurt (but I dont think jQuery can solve this particular issue).

What I need the javascript person to be particularly well versed in the window.unload function and knowing its behavior, how to manipulate it and how to make sure it fires off at the right time under the right conditions.

Since this job requires the window.unload function as the primary function I think the person also needs to know how to run AJAX functions as certain things in indirect relation to the window.unload function needs to be triggered.

Please PM and I will be able to give you more details. Also please mention your hourly rate so that I know what we are talking about.
202  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: bitcoin.dk - Køb Bitcoins - Køb og sælg Bitcoins hos sikker dansk virksomhed on: April 24, 2013, 02:33:54 PM

Jeg lider af at have boet i udlandet i over 5 år.

207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Well Deserved Fortune of Satoshi Nakamoto, Visionary and Genious on: April 19, 2013, 12:49:12 PM
I for one dont think Satoshi is just watching how things evolve and is probably on this board under another nickname or multiple nicknames. Time will tell how he deals with the continuing Bitcoin mania.
208  Economy / Service Discussion / Blockchain.info prices down? on: April 16, 2013, 06:19:23 PM
It seems to have been days ago they last updated their price feeds. Does anyone know what is wrong? I am pulling their prices with JSON to a website and it kinda sucks to have a delay of 7 days  Wink
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [0.1BTC/domain] Register/host .bit domains with bitcoins on: April 15, 2013, 12:30:12 PM
For this to really work, we need a "one-click" option to add the DNS to it. On top of that, we need some API in order to bundle this with other software in order to really spread it. What would be nice is if this starts to get used big time, then we have decentralized money and domains. Now that is ownership anyone here can understand  Wink
210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cairnsmore2 - What would you like? on: April 12, 2013, 02:00:03 PM
Great company with a great product! The Carinsmore1 is the only FPGA that keeps on pumping out constant rate mhash compared to other FPGA's I bought. Their customer support is stellar and their product rocks. If these guys were to produce ASIC hardware I would be all in!
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNBC Jim Cramer to speak about Bitcoin next. on: April 12, 2013, 01:50:59 PM
The attention is certainly there towards Bitcoin. But our ability to keep the market running is bad bad bad.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Falkvinge: "That is not just unacceptable; that is a joke..." on: April 12, 2013, 01:49:23 PM
Yeah its shameful to say the least. This market is a joke right now in the eyes of big investors. It will be funny money until we show we can handle worldwide load. We cant even handle the niche market trying to get into Bitcoin.  Undecided
213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Liberty Reserve > BTC on: April 06, 2013, 10:23:46 AM
Looking for this myself. Need someone that has BTC and accepts LR.
214  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: There is a way we can trade Bitcoin without getting shut down constantly - read on: April 05, 2013, 07:20:20 PM
I am going to push this article up as I think there are grounds for debating this further, ie. the price shows muscles. I am still open to do this, contact me if interested in pushing BTC to the credit markets.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now CNN is giving Bitcoin Financial Advice on: April 05, 2013, 05:00:46 PM
Leave them fuck around. They all just realized this is the future of money and none of their so-called experts predicted shit. They have been boxed in their own little world of scam and fraud for too long. Now it hits them and they are trying their sly methods of pushing the price down, which will prove to be impossible looking at how valuable Bitcoin is as an asset.

I am honestly laughing my ass off here, watching the self proclaimed experts, bankers and financial guru being completely and utterly owned by Satoshi's invention of Bitcoin. Great show bankers, but we will take it from here  Wink

So now we have 16.000 disgruntled 2.000.000$+ old people looking for a way to secure the rest of their money after the gov heist. Sweet! More BTC power  Grin
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20 calls a day from large asset managers looking to invest up to $100m. on: April 03, 2013, 11:29:16 PM
what did you expect?

I kind of expected this, because I know that even skeptics will come to appreciate how brilliant Bitcoin is when they bother to learn in detail about it.

personally I'm starting to doubt bitcoin abit because it requires someone to pay for Energy forever and in increasing amounts to keep it alive

A civilizations capabilities, is according to Kardashev scale, based upon power consumption/production. To reach a lvl 2 civilization we need to pull all the energy from our sun. I doubt Bitcoin is the "expensive" part Wink

220  Economy / Economics / Re: Are gold and bitcoin coupled? on: March 27, 2013, 05:01:38 PM
Yet Bitcoin can do things Gold cannot. It can be send instantly across the world, it can be stored safer than Gold (by individuals) and there is not an unlimited supply of it. I see this as Gold v2.0
