201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: January 12, 2018, 03:04:22 AM
Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Millennials are so into internet and gadgets nowadays.  They don't even know how to interact with other people. They are all into the virtual world. I, honestly, am at times also  hooked up into it but when i realize it, i know when to stop. Parents need to discipline their children in using gadgets and the internet. I really hope parents will realize the pros and cons (especially cons) of this mania.
202  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion on: January 12, 2018, 01:16:43 AM
I have come across a post on facebook where a user have been deliberately selling drugs that can abort a baby. She even have packages of aborteficient medicine depending on which trimester the expectant mother is currently in. This incident have stirred up many netizens on facebook.
Are you PRO or ANTI abortion?
Angry Antiabortion here. If you accidentally got pregnant, the child should not take all the consequences and blame. Gosh! The innocent one suffers. Also, for me, it is a form of murder. Children are blessings from up above.
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rape on: January 12, 2018, 12:56:09 AM
In a world where ladies appear naked thinking that they are putting on clothes. In a world where women do things that arouses the Men. In a world where parents encourage their children to wear skimpy dresses. What world are we living in?

Should rapists be sent to jail or not?
Honestly, i can't blame (some) rapists. Women, consciously or subconsciously, flaunt their beauty, skins and even private parts to the public, get harassed, then blame these men. I want to spank those ladies and tell to their faces if only they know how to dress properly and hide their skins, maybe they won't be harassed. Also, i want to scold their parents in allowing their children, yes, children (even four-year old girls) to use micro mini skirts and sandals with high heels. They think it is fashion and trendy, but they need to protect their children from ill-minded persons/men. Parents need to discipline their girls and ladies in dressing so men will respect them instead of arousing their lusts.
204  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: January 12, 2018, 12:06:05 AM
not at all. Happiness does not depend on money. It is more like a psychological thing which is more connected to the human minds. Don't you think so?
I think it can buy happiness temporarily. If you buy things that make you happy, at least you were happy for a moment. but not necessarily over a long period of time.
205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do sketching and painting relax your mind? on: January 11, 2018, 01:32:50 AM
Painting and sketching are the ways to express yourself. For some people it is their obsession, for others it is a way to relax their minds. While others consider it a way to make a connection with their inner-self. In any case sketching and painting are something intricate yet soothing and fascinating.
I believe that to display your art you do not have to be a great artist. You just have to draw you emotion and personality on paper.
People are different form all other people in this world. While some go for painting and sketching, other do other. As for me, when i fell stressed and tired, i read books and listen to music, especially to the old songs and classics. The songs remind of my childhood days and relax my body and mind.
206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: January 11, 2018, 12:46:44 AM
I have measured the temperature, it is 37 °C  (98.6 °F) in my room, I live in a pretty shady area so the sun doesn't directly warm my room.

Outside the temperature according to local heat sensors + the meteorology service confirmed, it's 42 °C  (107.6°F) , the air on average. In sunny areas it can be as high as 50  °C  (122°F)

They have also forecasted 45-47 °C for this week in nearby locations as average temperature. In sunny spots it can be deadly heat.

And this is Europe for fuck sake, not the fucking desert. In the desert the temperature may even be 60  °C or higher.

It's a fucking oven, the skin burns off your body it's so hot.

Yet we see motherfuckers who are denying the global warming, how is this possible?
Global warming is real. In my country, temperature has tremendously change over the years. Calamities has been very dangerous and strong and very alarming.
207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Main Cause of accidents/road safety on: January 10, 2018, 05:14:35 AM
There are few basic things that are responsible for road accidents. Like
Over speeding
Lane Discipline
Traffic signal violation
Under age drivers

What you think except these things that are causing road accidents?

You may have observed that everyone is in hurry while on road. How many of you leave for for your work or college before time ? I think when someone is leaving for office/college at time then he/she would be in hurry that can also be a cause of accident. There is not even a single road where accident does not occur daily. Thousands of people die each year during these accidents. How can we reduce road accidents?
What are the main factors responsible for accidents in your country ? In my country mostly traffic signal violation.
In my country, i believe lack of discipline among drivers, especially when they are in the influence of alcohol.
208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to prepare for your death? on: January 10, 2018, 04:50:55 AM
I am thinking how to prepare for death and passing assets to others.

I have a number of bank accounts, physical commodities and of course alt coins.

How do I make sure that when I die, these all get collected by my family? Of course I know about wills, but this is a new world with wallets and bank accounts in multiple countries.

Cheers
Death is inevitable. I don't really prepare for it because I want ti live my life without any hesitations. Though, a trusted attorney will be of help..
209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Life before and after marriage ??? on: January 10, 2018, 04:37:05 AM
Marriage is such a piece of a sweet one who don't eat want to eat it and those who has eaten are repenting now Wink Grin Grin
What you guys think is life easier before marriage or after the marriage.
I think it is after marriage. I became more mature and sensitive to others. I also became aware of my strengths and weaknesses. Thinking of my family's future became my number one priority instead of mine's.
210  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: January 10, 2018, 12:27:14 AM
What do you think?Motivate is really motives our mind.Another thing, when you’re inspiring people, you’re not telling them exactly what to do or giving them precise directions. You’re empowering them to be their best, trusting that they will then do the right thing. And the right thing they do may not be what you were expecting; it may be something beyond your wildest expectations.
Always encourage the person to do his best. Appreciate even the most little things that he/she did well.
211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: January 10, 2018, 12:12:41 AM
Hi, I just wanna ask how to overcome depression? I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?
Your friend needs you the most. If s/he can't tell problems to his/her family, it is good that s/he have you. Support him/her always, divert his/her attention to the things s/he loves. Look for support groups as well and if you believe, pray. Always pray for your friend.
212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is education must-have nowdays? on: January 09, 2018, 11:58:09 PM
Education is source of knowledge.
It teaches you verbal communication
It helps in surviving in the cultural World
Let me answer NO!

Education not necessary to help an another human being
Education is not, only the source of Knowledge it’s a part
No one can teach you better education than life

What do you think?
I actually agree! Education is only a part of our life. It doesn't mean someone will be successful if he finished studies. Others are successful even without a degree. Experience is still the best teacher.  Cheesy
213  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can you become an important person in society? on: January 09, 2018, 11:35:22 PM
What do you think?
I think there is no criterion for importance. The people whom we consider important do not consider themselves important. Only others perceive them to be important. If importance is a matter of perception, you have to first perceive yourself important.

I believe it is how you see and love yourself that makes you important. You may be like a needle in a haystack but you are important to your family and friends. If you see yourself as someone not only as somebody, it builds your self-confidence and it radiates and felt by the people that surrounds you. It may be in their subconscious but you are important in their lives.
214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: peer group influence on high school student educational performance. on: January 09, 2018, 08:33:04 AM
Have you ever wondered about the extent to which peer groups affect academic performance? Make no mistake; a peer group can impact your child's academic performance significantly. However, to say that one's peer group is the most influential factor in academic performance isn't true either because there are so many other factors that influence educational performance.
Peer group greatly affects a child's academic performance but it is not the only reason. Cultural background, financial status, family background, study habits, interaction in the web, how the child was raised need also to be considered. However, the child's success or failure during studies cannot actually predict what's going to happen in the future. There are lot of successful people nowadays that failed but now, they sleep under bed of money.
215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gradate but still an illiterate? on: January 09, 2018, 08:18:56 AM
Does achieving a degree means that you have become a civilized and educated human being? I don't think so. Getting knowledge won't make you an educated person. The most common example of illiteracy by educated people is when there is littering iin educational institutes and illiterate people are hired to clean the mess. cramming your course books won't bring wisdom, it will only bring knowledge without enlightenment.
In elementary for instance, teachers do their work but some parents are not very participative in doing their responsibilities. Instead, they give all the tasks in educating their children on the hands of teachers. I hope parents take their responsibilities in rearing and educating their children seriously and religiously.
216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: January 09, 2018, 07:49:34 AM
Some countries or state have been accepting this kind of marriage. Here in the Philippines, we do not recognize it as legal or something like that. How about in your country?
I strongly disagree with same sex marriage. Men and women were the only gender created by God. Marrying other person of the same gender contradicts the teachings of the bible, hence it is a sin.
