I can't blame Brian Kelly for deciding to avoid BCT. This thread and the moderated one are perfect examples of why.
Guys gotta keep in mind we are not the intended market for NAUT - it's his wealthy investment clients and CNBC viewers. He'll do what he feels best on his schedule and I'm sure he doesn't care one satoshi what people here think about him... which is the correct decision from a business standpoint.
That is where you are wrong. When he started this coin he came here to look for investors and he found them here. BK promissed a lot of things here, but none of them have become reality. Because of these false promisses people start to ask questions, questions that BK doesn't like because they are true. To avoid those questions BK and his partner in crime Flyingmongoose avoid this forum that they created. This is wrong and NOT a correct decision from a business standpoint. it is stikking your head in the sand. You say that WE are not the intended market for NAUT? WHY did he start here? HE can't get a single investor from "his" investment clients.....why? because the product SUCKS!!! There is no developer that maintains/develops this coin, BK doesn't have a clue what crypto is nor can he convince people to invest in this. The only thing he can is promise things and take your money.... Good luck with your dream Dude, think that one through a little more. Kelly deals with multi-million dollar clients. What kind of investor in that category is he going to find on BTC? None. And he has always known that because it's obvious. He came here to do R&D. He got what he needed, plus plenty of extra FUD and other tedium, and he moved on. Bitcoin is *just* mature enough for certain types of Wall St. style investors to dip their toes into it and altcoins are not really there yet, and I'm sure he's well aware of this and had no intention of marketing NAUT to his clientele this soon even if POS had turned out to be easier to implement. In time his clients will be asking him about what crypto they should invest in and by that point he'll have the bugs ironed out of Nautilus and he'll hand it do them. Much easier to sell to a market that comes to you because they see all the big players (from his clients' perspective), rather than try selling it to a market who doesn't even really understand what the hell cryptocurrency even is yet. Make sense? You proberly also believe there is a GOD, go to church every week and allow the priest to have sex with your children and then try to convince people that that is the way how god wants it. I think you proberly just make yourself look like an idiot when ever you are trying to be taken seriously. |

Money is important for any company for sure but not only money in fact. Every company has a mission. Following to you logic they shouldn't sell their shares. They have billions but still sell their shares. And if you mean cryptomarket as "one of the most unregulated markets" our company have a plan that we are currently implementing. I am saying why sell shares in the cryptomarket when it has little or nothing to do with what your company does. What benefit does having a coin as your share give you? |

It's sad to say, but i'm with barabbass on this one. I think that brian kelley wants this whole thing to be quietly swept under the rug so that he can save face.
Naut is slowly bleeding to death and heading towards distant memory. And that's exactly what Brian Kelley wants at this point so that he doesn't look like even more of an idiot than he already does.
Honestly that is a fair point, but it is hard to take you seriously after the "wreck the network" bit. |

It doesn't take talent to make NAUT skyrocket. The supply is so right that $25,000 could make go up 20-100 fold. If you were a rich banker with a public face and involved in crypto wouldn't you at the very least throw some money at the problem? That's what I'm banking on. Brian Kelly has to save face. I can't leave the thread, you see I recently invested in NAUT and I am trying to defend my investment. You see, the reason I invested in NAUT is because I expected BK to find some solid solution to a problem (POS) that every single shit coin out there has solved before launching, every single one. So I figured he would solve it in a snap and since the price had gone down way more than I had ever expected, even in the worst of circumstances, I figured it would be a not too risky investment at these levels.
But enough of my reasons. The project, I feel, should be pole position for upcoming regulation and not very much is needed, in my view, to achieve that status on a solid base, but SOME actions are indeed required. Getting the "help", voluntary or otherwise, of Julian Yap is the solution? It doesn't seem so. The markets don't think so, so how wise is it? Does BK even care at this point? Those are the relevant questions investors should be posting, rather than attacking the messenger...
Oh, wait, that would be in a world of common sense and basic intelligence, sorry for a moment I deluded myself believing I was in such a world... I know much better, though.
Agreed. I'm scared to see the fate of Naut once BK is done selling his book. Now you've done it... the charge will include you in no uncertain terms. The shouts for moderated forum will mount heavily... and the result will be equal, or worse, than they were for PINk and BC -which has reopen the old one, what an irony...-. Either way, chickens will come home to roost eventually and also eventually, rats will start jumping ship soon enough. As for BK, I believe it is very much in his interest to really find an efficient solution in NAUT before any backlash affects not just his book sales but his reputation in the real world. It isn't an easy position he has locked himself in, indeed. Every thread I see you in you just bitch your heart out. One or two threads/coins, I might believe that you are actually afraid/concerned. But its clear you are FUDing for cheap NAUT. If you are so concerned please dump your NAUT I will buy it all. I cannot choose for you what you so peculiarly and selectively choose to read. still waiting for a reply regarding my LAN proxy settings being automatically changed every time I launch VPN wallet.
