If you implement POS, is that possible to keep POW? Even if you lower the max coin. I see some POS coin with no need opened wallet for POS to work, can you implement it like this? If you implement it of course  We will have a look at that once the majority of the community approves that. At present that is not on our cards now. The current thing is POOF and then merged mining with BlakeCoin and anonymity. i think it is the emergency and dev need to modify the total supply coin to the max 24 million, and you need to move quickly because when they see the 111 million supply investor scare they wont touch this coin like dog available 84 million value 45. you need to modify to compete and survine, and also you need to create the rich list, investor want to see the well affect they might compete and think hey i need to put in 500 or 2000 more just to be on the list of the top 50 or 100. think about what i see and say. thank you for your consider A rich list is a nice gimmick but ultimately absolutely pointless. If I have a large quantity of ANY coin I ALWAYS keep it in multiple wallets as does just about everybody else I know. With regard to the calls to reduce POW, introduce POS, change reward structure etc. All that does is alienate early adopters and creates uncertainty and doubt that devs can be trusted. For me it is also the biggest indicator that a coin has ONLY been created for short term wealth generation and has absolutely zero chance at longevity. How many coins that have been created or changed to suit the latest trend or fad are still around or trading at any value 3 months after they were created? Cryptocurrency needs to evolve and its communities need to grow up, shake off the "now generation" attitude and build long term value rather than focus on short term profiteering otherwise the whole crypto economy will implode on itself. In my opinion if you want to survive in cryptomarket, then you must be flexible to make changes according to market demand. There are many old coins which are almost dead because of this. This is technology field and you must upgrade in relation to market demand or even you can create market demand by new innovations. If we are able to change accordingly then I don't think anybody can stop us from being successful in long term. For long term success here we will need to make several changes to meet short term demands otherwise we will also be in the list of dead coins soon. But thanks for sharing your thoughts. |

I agree with Anderson and think that supply of this coin will be major hurdle in price increase. After POS became popular, the demand for mineable coins has reduced to nothing,no matter how good the coin is. Pos attracts big investors because it insures their investment will not get diluted in future. The mineable coins that are surviving have very little inflation. Dev has reduced inflation but still it is not that low.
Yeah many coins have reduced supply in between and it does not stop investors from investing in good coin. The prices are very cheap for big investors right now. I am not suggesting to change the coin to pure POS but my suggestion would be to reduce the total POW to suppose 50 million which will be mined in next like for example 20 years and another 50 million by POS at very low rate of interest. As it is multi-algo so changing it to pure POS will will change the entire concept of coin,which I am also against of.
But at last it's Devs coin, I respect his decision.

Yes anonymity and merged-mining is on our cards next. Anonymity is a dicy feature. It can make or break a coin. Many current anonymous coins take the code directly from darkcoin or anoncoin and implement it. They cause initial hype and end up becoming pump and dump coins. We will have a proper draft for it ready. We will think of a different kind of anonymity. We will also keep in mind what you suggested about the transaction being destroyed. If it is possible to implement, it could be the best form of anonymity present. The coins that get dumped are those which are scam, they just use anonymity as upcoming feature and never implement it, but still they get 1000's of BTC volume,which means more investors. Coins that successfully implement it are able to sustain price rise, the biggest example is darkcoin which started from around 0.2 $ and is now trading at 10 $, then there are cryptonote coins like Monero,XC ,cloak and also supercoin which is more than 11000% up right now. So if we are able to implement anonymity, specially the strong kind, our market cap will definitely increase. Anonymity plus other features in the wallet plus you were also talking about adding POS with POW, our coin will have potential to become one if the best in market. If successfully do this even early adopters who want to dump will not affect the price due to involvement of long term and big investors. |

The only thing required is a SFR address which is public.
Useful if you would like to convey a message to someone revealing your identity. The message self destructs after you read. So no trace of it is left behind anywhere.
This could become the most secure messaging platform ever built.

I have one concern dev that the transaction confirmation takes too long, can it be resolved as the main motive of cryptocurrency is instant transfer. Long confirmations? For me the coins come in seconds to my wallet. If you are talking about 6 confirmations for confirming the coins, the time will increase a bit because we have increased the block time. From 30 seconds, the block time is now 90 seconds. So for 6 confirmations, 90*6 = 540 seconds. It is still quite fast. For merchant applications and other confirmations, 2 confirmations is enough. For example Bitcoin has a block time of 10 mins. Services/traders confirm a BTC transaction in 1-2 confirmations because the block time is very high. Whenever I transfer coins to my wallet it takes too much time and I also 540 secs is almost 10 mins, so if its possible to reduce block reward and reduce block time it will be good for SFR. For daily use for example buying a coffee we need atleast 2 confirms in 1 min. Just a suggestion. |

Yes just came back after meeting. Will be keeping in touch with them regularly now. Probably once in a month. They appreciate our work and will support us. They need some more time to observe SFR and include it in their exchange. We have to increase volume, then big exchanges will add us and our coin will also be considered for payment options. Community had already discussed these issues with dev and dev is working in the right direction. First we need to rebuild the trust in the coin which has been lost after your whitepaper and dump. If there is something to be decided dev will post himself and ask for our opinion as this is his coin he will remain loyal to the coin till the end. Nobody from the community wants the same events happening again, so only dev and community will make the final decision, no single person will be allowed to do that.
A coin can't be owned by a single person. Dev is nothing without the community. This is "OUR" coin. I am currently busy working so i can't reply to Hugh in detail. But some of his points are very good and he has a vision. Its best let everyone decide upon it. The new whitepaper should be accepted by the community first before being made public. No-one is perfect. We need to just focus on getting back up. We had a pretty good run for 4-5 days. Then we probably had the biggest crash in crypto history. Many factors were involved that caused it. Not just 1 person or 1 thing. Lets focus on what to do next. Today is a big day for SFR if we go through the Unocoin deal. We can be traded for fiat in Indian Rupee. Also the new exchange, BlueBulls is going to trade SFR in USD. So pretty good things are coming up. Also our SFRMS alpha wallet will be out soon. Just working on some security stuff. I know he has a vision and he has pointed out some good things but I don't like when he tries to enforce his opinion on others.
