Hi, I am trying to build a private pool for SFR. But I can't connect the rpcport. I have set the rpcport to 19710 inside the conf file. I try to telnet port 19710, it shows connection is refused. I can also always successfully telnet port 19717 which is the p2p port. I am using Windows wallet 1.3.2 which I got from your website at http://saffroncoin.com/Any help will be really appreciated. tks

Download the saffroncoind daemon from http://github.com/saffroncoin/saffroncoin . Compile that and run the command - saffroncoind -daemon . Only then will the server listen on port 19710. Also make sure this port is allowed in your firewall.

Also make sure this port is allowed in your firewall. No it does listen. Add port 19710 through your firewall. I do not know why do you want to use a windows QT wallet for a pool. Just run the saffroncoind daemon from your command prompt. Do try this and let me know your output. It is also best to setup any kind of pool on Linux. If you have a linux system, best to try on that. The only reason i can think of port 19710 is being blocked by your system is due to your firewall or router. If you have a router, you need to do port forwarding for this port.

We have begun work on our SFRMS extension that we call POOF! Send encrypted anonymous self destructing messages to any wallet address without revealing any personal info. The only thing required is a SFR address which is public.
Useful if you would like to convey a message to someone revealing your identity. The message self destructs after you read. So no trace of it is left behind anywhere.
This could become the most secure messaging platform ever built.

Congrats Dev You know its a marathon, not a sprint. Crypto prices exhibit very high volatility due to market maturity and liquidity issues. Saffron's price will continue to fluctuate BUT I expect that to continue in an UPWARD trajectory. I have my own private price projections so long as the Dev continues to work hard [a given] and WE ALL contribute our ideas and support as a community.

There is a saying in cryptoworld now a days, "Invest in devs, not coin". You are on the right train my friend.

SFR will be best wallet outther with POOF ) Other just used sucking TOR lol. Yea TOR is not entirely anonymous. Also POOF! will just delete the messages automatically. So no trace of it is left anywhere. You convey your message to your recipient and you can be sure that the message cannot be stored anywhere since it auto destroys itself.

Could be. Not entirely sure at present since all transactions will be written directly to the public blockchain. But in the future we will have a look at it.

Okay, I hope after this amazing feature "POOF", you will start working on implementing anonymity. We are eagerly waiting for that to happen and it could prove to be turning point for saffron coin. 😊

Yes anonymity and merged-mining is on our cards next. Anonymity is a dicy feature. It can make or break a coin. Many current anonymous coins take the code directly from darkcoin or anoncoin and implement it. They cause initial hype and end up becoming pump and dump coins. We will have a proper draft for it ready. We will think of a different kind of anonymity. We will also keep in mind what you suggested about the transaction being destroyed. If it is possible to implement, it could be the best form of anonymity present.
