woot! we did it guys... one thing about round stats... we handle rounds a tiny bit different than u might be used to... basically we define a round as the period of time between payouts so you won't see round stats change till we hit 120 confirms on this first block. each 120 confirms a payout is done and the round officially ends... hope that clears up any confusion... on my list todo I want to make a FAQ page that explains these types of things so that newcomers understand what our stats mean anni

I am going to give your pool a shot. I like what you're doing.
I have one of my rigs going at more than 1 GH/s, and if everything goes well, I'll point another rig at your pool.
My User ID is 104.
Thanks!
Welcome! (toggled to early adopter status)

Hi.. I could point about 15 g hash ur way because I like ur idea.. is there an api code avaliable for miner stats or bit wid app for android? Will I get liefetime zero percent? What are the best settings for so I don't get miner idle messages? Tia
Hi, 15 GH would be very much appreciated and id be happy to throw you a early adopter account for that. Which miner do you use? We can work together on it if you are worried about anything. Ill keep an eye and send me a PM if you see any problems when you start mining. Also let me know your user name on the pool so i can toggle your account. Anni

Update to latest trunk version asap if you are using this software. Found and fixed some issues today which grandfathered in from the original codebase which could affect payouts, stats, and proper block handling.

Are you guys interested in idle alerts via email if your workers go idle and we sense that from our end?
Let me know.... next feature i was thinking to add in if there is demand for it.

No, not confirmed yet, once we hit block 126803 it will be confirmed
We should be confirmed by now. Block 136583 +120 confirms = Block 136703 The current block is 136738. Im very familiar with this frontend code since i've forked it and made a new frontend based off this original code base. There are still issues with stats and some database queries which i just found and fixed today in my fork of this software and im guessing that Simplecoin has also run into them and is working hard on solving them for you guys. In other words, hang in there.... im sure Mike will get it sorted soon!

Hey AnnihilaT,
How about fixing HTTPS to your site? ;-)
Yes we will get around to that soon. Need to arrange a cert and get it installed and until then no sense in having a self signed cert in place or people will just complain about that as well Ok, thanks for the quick reply ;-) And how about a fast reaction as well to your request? Ask and you shall receive... SSL is up and working. Everything should be available on https: as it was (and still is) on http: Let me know if you notice any issues.

Hm, sounds interesting.
Which scoring method exactly is being used? The exponential one by Meni Rosenfeld? A custom one?
Hi, At the moment basic proportional is being used but after the first round or two we'll be switching to the cheat proof scoring method already well documented in these forums.

[Announce/Full Disclosure] MMC Charity Pool & Vladimir join forces to promote new Mining Pool & finance further development of Bitcoin Software[Community Press Release] In the interest of transparency and full disclosure, Mainframe Mining Cooperative (mining.mainframe.nl) would like to announce that we have reached a formal agreement with Marchenko Ltd (Vladimir) to form a joint venture which will include, among other things, co-ownership, co-administration and joint operation of the MMC mining pool. Under this venture, both parties will be jointly focused on bringing a quality service to the community and further diversification, redundancy, & computational capacity to the Bitcoin Network. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, this service will be donating a portion of every generated block to the developers and writers of open source bitcoin software & literature. Our intention is to provide benefit to the network, the miners, and the developers who make it all possible and facilitate further development of Bitcoin infrastructure. We understand that there are unique challenges to bootstrapping a mining pool service one of the largest being Variance. It’s the old “chicken & egg” problem. Under this venture, to help mitigate this problem and attract users and growth to the pool, we will be providing a sustained 30 – 100Ghps of our own hashing power to the pool to help get the ball rolling and reduce variance for those of you who want to come and join us. There are further perks and bonus’s being offered for Early Adopters who join the pool which you can read more about in the official Mainframe forum thread here: https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24650.0We would also like to be completely open and honest about the fact that while we are a Charity Pool, we are not 100% non-profit. We do take a 0.5% administration fee from each generated block to help us cover expenses and infrastructure costs and to help cover the time and effort we invest to be able to offer top notch reliability and efficiency. Best Regards, The Mainframe Mining Cooperative

Quite a few updates to trunk have been made. If you want bleeding edge newest features check out trunk. Will get around to tagging the next release very soon.
When upgrading, please pay close attention to the differences in the database schema you are using in your current version and the latest schema you have downloaded in newest versions. There are slight changes being made to the DB structure that will affect functionality if you dont also roll in these structural changes.
working lost password reset feature is checked into trunk today.

Hi, Another idea for the site: allow to remember the password via a cookie at login (or some ohter method you may prefer). I hate it that i have to retype my user/pass each time i visit the site. Why dont you let your browser remember it ? Also, If you arent clicking logout and you are allowing cookies from this domain it should keep you logged in for 1 week at least unless your ip is changing
