I have 6x 480RX, mining ZEC is Ok. As soon as I start mining ETH or ETC - in some period of time it hangs. Why? (Then I need to restart the miner or the comp.) Could you please help me?
More info required. What PSU are you using? What are your memclock, gpuclock, and voltage settings? What is your commandline?

All my rigs are running RX 480 8GB Cards - Mixed brands - Power Color, Sapphire, Asus Strix and XFX (all stock bios)- all running stable for 28 hrs now on v9. Average hashrate - 225 h/s per card. The Asus Strix cards seem to have the best hash rate on v9 (about 230 h/s). All rigs running Celeron Procs at about 10% with -i 8. Intensity settings don't seem to have any effect at all for me (0 to 8 makes no difference). Power usage rose about 6% average but gained roughly 20% hash rate from v8. Kudo's to Claymore. I'm not seeing any of these power spikes everyone is talking about but all i have is a meter at the wall.
what is "-i 8" ? n how to use it i have 4 rx 470 and 1 280X i am using this code ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal t1YZMnyXStuGKykkFxM6Lh8DTVJdTMx6R51.YourWorkerName -zpsw x Use: ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal t1YZMnyXStuGKykkFxM6Lh8DTVJdTMx6R51.YourWorkerName -zpsw x -i 8 -i 8 doesn't have to be 8. It can be anything between 1 and 8. 8 is just the most intense. ok if i want to use -i8 for 4X rx 470 cards and -i6 for 2X 280x cards what will be the code? Put -i 8,8,8,8,8,8 <-----------for six cards. Claymore will adjust the intensity to suit each card. Let's say you have an RX 480, a 470, a 390, and three 280x, after Claymore adjusts you can change the -i value for each card and it might look something like this...... -i 8,8,8,6,6,6

I decided to give dwarfpool a try for ZEC since other pools were showing a lot less hash than my miners were producing. It has been about 24 hours of testing and the results are rather dramatic. Rigs tested averaged ~1080 sol/s shown in Claymore.........on coinmine.pl I was paid for ~830 sol/s.......at dwarfpool I got paid for ~1100 sol/s. Dwarfpool FTW!
Does Dwarfpool offer a U.S. node? I was considering moving my rigs there myself. Yes, there .bat setup is different from the ETH pool there, so I'll post a sample .bat........ ZecMiner64.exe -wd 1 -r 0 -i 8 -zpool zec-us1.dwarfpool.com:3336 -zwal t1cPySgKnxaW85tPLJX5nrRXoMiyeMRDX5h.PC -zpsw <your email here to enable email monitoring alerts, or use x> -allpools 1

ok so i have noticed over all versions that the watchdog doesnt work well if at all miner just hangs dosnt report that anything is wrong then if i hit S to report speed it then restarts
only time i notice this is when im messing with volts on 290x after a new release it doesnt crash driver or anything miner just hangs till u hit R or S
and yes i have the restarts and delays set
Are you using teamviewer? The last several version of Claymore will freeze up when I click on the open teamviewer window. Miner will run perfectly for days with the window open.......until I click on it. It doesn't do this EVERY time, but often enough I have to watch closely or immediately hit "s" when I bring that window to the front. Wouldn't be much of a problem on a plain mining rig, but this rig with teamviewer is also a torrent seedbox.

@Claymore, why can't you go the extra step and make releases fair for all by announcing a date and UTC time of a release?

---------------RX 490 will be Announced and Launched on December 12th----------------
AMD are previewing ZEN.. Do you think they will announce RX490 as well? I believe it will be released early next year in the form of Vega. RX 490 will probably be a dual Polaris - think "Duo Pro" but a pair of RX 480 instead of a pair of FuryX, and downclocked a bit from the RX480 due to heat dissipation limitations. Announcement I expect on December *13* during their "New Horizons" event. Vega is probably going to be RX 5xx series. There have been a few "data" sightings around the web but no solid information on specs, just good solid speculation. Randy Chen contacted me a few weeks ago about RX 490 ref cards. Had them in stock then, dunno about now. I can't afford them anyway lol.

Hi, I'm still waiting on the scrypt coins you said you would add a few weeks ago. I've got four A4's and 5 old Zeus having to mine elsewhere

Just set -dbg -1 and you don't have those anoying logfiles I sometimes NEED the logfiles

Someone in chat was asking me for this .bat and thought I should post it here also. The .bat simply deletes the log files from Claymore miners. Mining a multi-algo switching pool can generate a TON of them in a day or too. When you want to clear out all the logs, just run the .bat and you won't have to delete all the logs manually. CHANGE THE PATHS TO POINT TO YOUR DIRECTORIES! You can also set this to repeat or run on a schedule, but I'm not going to explain that. :start

Is the pool having issues? I woke up this morning to no mining My miners were getting auth errors while Multi-algo mining. One had managed to get connected mining sgminer coins, but the other was in a auth error loop. After faffing with it for nearly an hour all is working again, even though no actual changes were made on my end. Neither has tried to swap to ETH/ETC/EXP while I've been watching the past half hour, even though ETH based coins are more profitable at the moment. :start

timeout 1 goto start Edit: Now both miners are back to getting ZEC: Authorization failed : {"id":2,"result":false,"error":null} ETH: Authorization failed : {"id":2,"result":false,"error":null} Authorization failed means it's switching to another coin. Is your sgminer not working? https://github.com/miningpoolhub/sgminer/releases/download/5.3.1/Release.zipAnd your worker (PC) is set to these algos: "AMD - Blake-Vanilla, Ethash, Equihash, Groestl, Myriad-Groestl, Skein" It's on 'Digibyte-Skein' at the moment. Both are mining skein right now. I've been having a running battle with BitDefender 2017. It keeps deleting/blocking mining programs, even though they are in a EXCLUDED folder and allowed through the firewall..........FFS.

2GB limit will be hit around January/February, not December.
My 2GB Asus radeon 270 GPU is not running today. it was running fine before. Right now you should be mining ZEC with that card. You can also try pairing the card in the same rig with a 3-4gb card or larger. I know I have a 270x that wouldn't mine ETH unless I had it in a rig with a 380. Claymore later fixed that in the way the DAG is handled. Today the 270x will only get about 4mh/s on ETH but easily get 100+ sol/s on equihash. That 29 270 GPU makes 40sols on equihash. I want to mine eth with my 3 r9 280x cards and run zcash miner in a seperate process to mine zcash with 270 gpu. I need configs for claymore eth miner to not use gpu2 so I can use it with zcash miner. Use the -di commandline so the 280x's mine one coin and the 270 can mine another. The 270 should be getting WAY more than 40 sol/s on equihash. Have you tried Claymore's ZECminer? I just looked and my 270x is doing 115 sol/s I'll try -di commandline to exclude the 270 gpu. Claymores zec miner has no linux build anymore so I'm using silentarm zec miner and it gives only 40sols with 270. Have you tried optiminer?

You can already do this by mining at an auto-switching pool using Claymore. What would be useful is for Claymore to auto-switch POOLS based on profit, he can dream big and combine all his miners controlled by a separate program that looks at the pool API's and starts the appropriate miner.
Can you imagine hundreds of thousands of miners hitting that API? Actually the miner itself wouldn't have to, HIS control program could query the API's, collate the results, and send commands to your control program, which would in turn start the appropriate miner and pool.

Claymore,
Do you have a project to make a miner that auto-switch to the best altcoin proft like nicehash did? I think it will be amazing this feature using your miners.. and i will be very glad in pay your fee as always..

Is there a way to control how many coins do i send to Auto Exchange.
I mean if I had 100 ether, can I manually send 50 to Auto Exchange from my wallet or is it always all or nothing?
Open the wallet and "transfer" how many you want to exchange. That will not be auto-exchange.

Does anyone know which is stable downvolt for SAPPHIRE RX480 NITRO OC + for 1342 MHZ GPU and 2000 MHZ for memory?
I'm ok with -100 mv I use a modded bios(which I have posted) and 1125/2080 -100mv works well even with a monitor attached. About 152 sol/s but is only like 55 watts.
