201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: January 14, 2018, 05:29:54 PM
For me i shoud the two of us.I think it has their own potentials for a long term.I wish these will rise up than this time and give us huge payout for this
Having Ethereum is nice and all though Bitcoin is a much better coin. Both coins is worth holding especially during the current times.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: January 14, 2018, 05:29:15 PM

Your table good but a bit old. See on price and caps Smiley And now more development for both not for ethereum only. I think NEO will take it's place and rather big
NEO replacing Ethereum is not going to happen. There is a lot of factors that you have to consider before making a statement like that lol.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 14, 2018, 05:24:29 PM
Air drop is profitable because we dont need to spend  money for got airdrop coin, but profit from airdrop may fewer compared to the bounty
Most airdrops are scam projects, there is only a matter of time till people get irritated by it and not participate in them.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC wallet who split fees? on: December 20, 2017, 10:49:50 PM
Hello everybody!

A short question, sorry if this was already a posting in the past but I did not found
an answer to this so far.

BTC fees are crazy high now, and a lot of people like to send transfers
in bulk/mass payments where they pay only a part of the entire transfer fee.

Is there a BTC wallet who offers that?
Like which would charge the user a % of the overall transfer fee
of a mass payment?

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards
David
Wait till the lightning network comes available so you can send fast transactions and not get stuck in the 200,000 unconfirmed transaction situation.

Not that I know of, once that comes to public usage then there should be a faster service like the lightning network.

Accelerate your transaction. You can do it by going to the transaction accelerator tool in ViaBTC.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com co-founder sells all his BTC for BTC Cash on: December 19, 2017, 07:54:14 PM
Hm... I'm seriously beginning to wonder if BTC Cash is the future despite Bitcoins success... thoughts?

https://finance.nine.com.au/2017/12/19/13/11/bitcoin-dot-com-cofounder-sells-all-of-his-bitcoin
He is probably the one dumping his coins right now just to make it look like Bitcoin is not going to go up any further lol.
208  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 19, 2017, 07:52:25 PM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
It all depends on what happens to the coins. If the network or the Internet goes down then there is a high chance that those coins will be worth nothing.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hard fork - Bitcoin God on: December 19, 2017, 07:49:41 PM
Chandler Guo, a Chinese cryptocurrency investor, recently releaved he is launching a Bitcoin-based fork that will use the ticker "GOD". Guo gave away some details and said that the project will start on the 25th of December. He also said there will not a premine.  Roll Eyes

How do you guys think about this one? It will has good or bad effect to Bitcoin?
Does it already have a price attached to it?
I heard that it would give out free coins and I would dump them once I get them.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: December 17, 2017, 11:47:24 PM
I store my bitcoin in my wallet, actually I have a small amount of bitcoin so I don't need any high quality bank or wallet. I can store my bitcoin in my wallet.
I like to keep my coins on an online exchange. It's a little unsafe though it feels good to trade coins whenever I feel like it.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ranking list of the oldest crypto coins still being traded. on: December 17, 2017, 11:44:14 PM

3) 2013 is a complete list. $20 bounty offered for spotting corrections. (DOGE or LTC please- BTC fees too expensive right now!)

Peercoin was one the coins that was traded for a long time and the new coins are using the code from that coin as well.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dumbest Bitcoin Purchase of 2017? (i.e. if I'd only kept the BTC!) on: December 17, 2017, 11:40:42 PM
So if you knew back in the far-off days of Jan 1st, 2017, with BTC below $1,000.00 USD what you know now, as it creeps to $13,000.00 usd

How would use or not use your bitcoin differently?

In my case, I got some equip for $10,104.00 USD that if I'd kept the 4.108 BTC as of this moment, I'd have $57,419.89, if I'd kept the BTC!

you can do a link to your experience (like I did below) or thru the tears, type them out here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976753.msg25843156#msg25843156

on the other hand

perhaps you made a killing, spending some BTC, we'd also like to hear that (it is windy up here crying on the microwave tower) Sad

anyway, my experiences, with spending BTC in 2017. (there are others, but after you read the link, you will see I have no desire to look further...the horror! Ack!)

scary to think, what 'boneheaded' moves I can make in 2018...if BTC continue to go up in 2018 and beyond (groan!)

anyway, share with us, so we don't feel alone on our bonehead moves, with 20/30 hindsight....

silly hobby

(see the poll)

I wouldn't consider any of my purchases dump because I was able to make more Bitcoin after I spent the coins.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump or dump after the Bitcoin futures contracts on: December 17, 2017, 11:38:21 PM
In a couple of days Bitcoin futures contracts which will be launch on Nasdaq, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group(CME) and others. Bitcoiner believe this will make bitcoin hit the mainstream of payment while something think it cause dump in price of bitcoin just like when gold was added by the stock exchange.

The question is, what's your own point of view?

It's better to just get Bitcoin from a regular exchange. Investing in contracts or futures will not benefit Bitcoin.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: December 16, 2017, 08:24:16 PM
I think that they are not interested in them only because I think that bitcoin is interested in diversifying their assets, they have no reason to use the bitcoin

A lot of people aren't interested in Bitcoin because they think that they will lose their money once they place their money into it.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 btc = 13k usd u still holding ? on: December 14, 2017, 10:04:44 PM
its currently 7 th December 2017 and latest rate is above 13k usd what u think is it the best time to sell or still need to wait until Christmas andi can guess it can go above 15k usd for sure

r u still holding and how much btc u has exactly ...
I am still holding Bitcoin, the price of the coin does not really matter to me since a Bitcoin is worth whatever Bitcoin is inside a wallet.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it good time to buy. on: December 14, 2017, 10:04:12 PM
Hi experts

is it good time to buy BTC..?
is there any fork or segwit..after November 15...

With all the same questions being asked everyday we should have a pinned post that states that it would be wise to invest if you feel like it.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: December 14, 2017, 06:32:36 PM
After 100 years, it is not possible to give a definite answer to the question whether Bitcoin will survive. Because the next generation of crypto currency comes and one of them can probably take the place of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin might be called another coin and it would fail after people notice another coin built from someone in the Government.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 05:56:50 PM
I do believe that getting involved right now into BTC, increases risk exponentially
It's a bad time to not invest in Bitcoin because the mainstream media is beginning to pick up on Bitcoin.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: December 13, 2017, 05:53:56 PM
Yrs. There are chances. Because bitcoin is flying now. The same time altcoins are also going up. Ltc has 60 percent  increase
Not going to happen anytime soon. Bitcoin just started, it's only 8 years old and there is not many people that know about it yet.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 13, 2017, 08:14:47 AM
I will preferred bitcoin it is convenient for me.
Bitcoin is a coin that you'd want to hold so you can get more fiat later.
Ethereum is a risky trade to make, you'd want to spend only a little bit of money on that one.
