2.No sketchy policies like "perform KYC before withdrawal". KYC should be done before depositing money, not before withdrawing money.
Thank you. That's so right. My thoughts are also for KYC verification to be applied at the top-up stage. I think that this kind of practice would improve the user experience and be a win-win for both sides.

But it will become an open invitation for abusers, especially in sports betting.

If your concern about early KYC could be an "open invitation for abusers," particularly in sports betting, stems from the idea that individuals banned from one platform could more easily circumvent restrictions to create accounts on others if they're forced to reveal their identity upfront. This could potentially expose platforms to coordinated fraud attempts, bonus abuse, or manipulative betting schemes.

Then on my mind it could be mitigated through robust KYC procedures as shared blacklists or behavioral monitoring.

Thats right, and from your answer it is very clear to me that you are an experienced person in this field.
And I think you have plans to open a casino soon, good luck hehe!

Also from a business perspective, requiring KYC upfront is clearly not wise for new casinos that are trying to bring as many players to their platforms.
Because there are still many gamblers who only bet/deposit with a small amount and forcing them to do that from the beginning is a suicide move for a newly established casino.
Out of 100 people, maybe only a few are willing to do that, or even none at all because there are still many other casinos that are not too strict with their KYC policies.

For me, a good new casino is one that is handled by staff who are experienced in their field (crypto, online gambling, etc)
With that way, any issues will definitely be resolved quickly.

As for the game design, I think almost all casinos provide the same games/providers, so maybe its not that important in this case.
For live support, it must be handled by experienced people and problem solvers, not just recipients of reports like AI.
For loyalty programs including events/promos and bonuses, provide honest and a complete information from the beginning.
There are still many casinos that offer fantastic loyalty programs, events/promos and bonuses but in reality they are all just traps with hidden terms and conditions.

204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: March 26, 2024, 05:27:06 PM
Fiorentina definitely will win against Plzen but in the semifinals they will have to face the winner of Brugge vs PAOK.
Many people predict that Fiorentina will reach the final easily, but my prediction is that Brugge or PAOK will advance to the final.

I think Aston has a 99% chance to advance to the final, Aston have not won any trophy in Europe since 2001, winning the UEFA Conference League will definitely be their main priority, also Emery is a master in Europa League:
He won the Europa League with Sevilla in the 2013/2014, 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons.
Then became a runner up in the Europa League in the 2018/2019 season with Arsenal.
And he won the Europa League in the 2020/2021 and managed to reach Champions League semifinals in the 2021/2022 season with Villarreal.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ International Football Prediction and Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 26, 2024, 03:31:57 PM

I'm never lucky with predicting international matches especially friendlies since there's nothing to fight for by these teams. Last week, I couldn't predict any of the games — France lost woefully to Germany and England lost to Brazil? But if I'm predicting this round of features, I'd probably tip England to win vs Belgium.  Belgium played alright in their last game but lack clinical finishing. England on the other hand needs to come out from their box of shame and get a victory here. Germany to win, then Brazil to win as well.

TLDR:
  • Germany W
  • England W
  • Brazil W

I might be wrong but these seems like high conviction plays to me.

I also planned to bet on England but canceled after reading the news about Kane, Walker, Johnstone, Maguire, Pope, Shaw, Trent, Grealish, Saka and several England key players will not play in the match against Belgium due to injury.
However, England is still has a chance to win, or at least they have to be able to get a draw.
It would be embarrassing if England loses at home again after 3 days ago Brazil wins 1-0 at Wembley.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 26, 2024, 01:22:20 PM
Apparently the Belgian national team missed their best chance in 2014 and 2018. Not only De Bruyne and Lukaku were in their best form there, but also Azar, Carasco, Courtois, Kompany, Vertonghen.
This team was probably the best Belgium national team for many years, but I think the Belgium national team made a mistake with the choice of head coach, in the beginning Wilmots did well, but he got in the way of Argentina and then in 2016 at the Euros was a failure at all, but Martinez could not fully reveal the potential of that star team of Belgium.
Tedesco is doing well so far, but as rightly noted the players he has at his disposal are much weaker than those who played in 2014-2020 for Belgium.

Yep, the 2018 World Cup was actually the best opportunity for Belgium to win their first World Cup.
Unfortunately their progress was stopped by France in the semifinals and had to settle for third place after beating England.
And in the 2022 World Cup they couldnt even get past the group stage because the Golden Generation is starting to age, their stamina is no longer what it used to be and they are prone to injury.
It is time for Belgium to restart the Golden Generation project if they want to go further in the World Cup and Euro cup.

Jadi curangnya berapa puluh juta?

208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Becomes of Gambling if Sport book is taken away. on: March 25, 2024, 03:05:34 PM
I don't know is this have been discussed before here on the gambling discussion board or not, but let see how our independent opinion on this question will be and what to anticipate should Incase we find ourselves at that stage in time.

Just as the title stated, what do you think will becomes of gambling enirly if we wake up one morning to the news of global banning of football,  or a country ban it citizens from participating in football both as a game and also a sport.

Do you think gambling/casinos will lose it popularity since chunk number of their clients are from sport bookies section?

Of course the popularity of casinos will decline but I think only in the short/temporary period.
Gamblers will definitely switch to other types of sports or play other games such as slots, poker, house games, etc.
The desire to gamble will not be extinguished even if someone, for example, only bets on football before.

OP, what if you gamble with crypto from there?
Will you be taxed twice? tax from gambling profit and capital gains tax when exchanging crypto for cash there?
It would be terrible if you had to be taxed twice, in total could be almost half of the total winnings.

I have a friend from Brazil and he said he must pay 15% tax when exchanging crypto to fiat.
But he never gambled, only trading, so he was only subject to capital gain/loss tax.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your take? on: March 25, 2024, 12:44:35 PM
Usually I always choose games with the odds between 1.7x to 2.3x.
But if I have confident that a team will definitely win in a match, I will bet on that even with small payouts -  with note, the minimum payout is not below 1.5x, because I dont think its worth the risk when betting on the odds below 1.5x.
And sometimes I also choose markets with the big odds above 2.5x, but only bet on parlays, not single bets.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 24, 2024, 03:55:58 PM
No, because every legal crypto casino will require every player to carry out KYC and that is mandatory based on the laws and regulations where the casino license is issued.
But in reality, there are still many casinos that only ask for KYC if it is only necessary because they know that if they apply the strict KYC rules - their customers might move to another casino that is not so strict with its KYC rules.
Also many people suggest to play at decentralized casinos if we want to protect our identity, but in reality any decentralized casinos can still request KYC if necessary, its not 100% anonymous.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 24, 2024, 03:15:33 PM
I have had a look and I couldn't believe that the bookmakers seem to have big faith in Arsenal and valued them as the real favorite. To give you an idea, they put Arsenal at 1.99, so let's say at 2.0, and they put Bayern Munich at 3.59.

I agree that the odds for Bayern Munich winning this game should be relatively high as it is a game away from home and it is against the team that is leading the Premier League. But given how the game developed recently for Bayern, do you think that Arsenal winning the game at 1.99 is correctly marked by the bookmakers? Even if it is marginal, it is a bit below 2.0 and I did expect something with a 2. coming first.

I don't think that Arsenal's chances of winning that game are that high. At least I wouldn't bet on it at those odds. I think it is always a good indicator to think about potential odds that someone would be willing to put money on an outcome and for me this would be more between 2.5 and 3.0, but it would definitely not be worth it when you get just under 2.0.

Because Arsenal has a 100% winning record when they play at home this season (Champions Legue).
And the last time they lost at home in Europe competition was in March 2021 (Europa League).

Arsenal vs Porto 1 - 0
Arsenal vs Lens 6 - 0
Arsenal vs Sevilla 2 - 0
Arsenal vs PSV 4 - 0

And Arsenal also aware that they have to win at home with a decent score against Bayern in the 1st leg.
Bayern will most likely qualify for the semifinals if the 1st leg ends in a draw or Arsenal is only able to win with a 1 goal margin.
Therefore, with the odds 1.99x (and it looks normal for me) Arsenal is the favorite in this first leg because they will definitely try to score as many goals as possible against Bayern.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: March 24, 2024, 12:42:27 PM
My picks for Both Teams To Score today are:
Denmark vs Switzerland
England vs Brazil
France vs Germany
I think this chosen match will be successful in giving you victory.

Nope, failed miserably hehe. This is an example of why it is so difficult to predict the outcome of a friendly match.
Who would have thought that France and England couldn't even get 1 goal back.
Denmark vs Switzerland end with 0-0 was also an unexpected result.
The last time Denmark played with a score of 0-0 was in November 2022, and Switzerland was in September 2021.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 11:56:31 AM
I think you are quite lucky because the casino doesnt use a 3rd party payment gateway like coinpayments, so they can solve the problem straight away.
If they use third party services, it will certainly take time to resolve this problem.
It could take 1-2 weeks or maybe more depending on the response from the payment gateway company.

216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 23, 2024, 03:14:25 PM
Bitcoin is currently undergoing a correction back to the $60,000s. Around $68k now, got down to $66k.

This is the time to buy before the bull run really gets going. This MIGHT be the lowest it gets. While a deeper fall during this correction, or another correction in the near future, is certainly possible, this might also be as low as it gets. After the near future, the only time it might get this low again is in like two years on the next bear market, and these prices may be the bottom of the bear market.

So anyone who has money sitting on the sidelines and who wants to buy Bitcoin, today is gonna likely be one of the lowest days we're gonna see for at least the next 18-24 months, and maybe forever! Buy!

Yes, because the prospect of Bitcoin prices is still far from its peak, but I dont agree if you say this is the last opportunity to buy Bitcoin at the current price.
I think the price of Bitcoin will fluctuate drastically this year, it is unlikely that all big whales or Institutionals will miss the opportunity to take short term profits after the halving.
The level of confidence in Bitcoin is getting higher, so even if whales/institutional sell some of their holdings, they will buy it back to aim another short term profits or filling their bags for a long term investment.

217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 23, 2024, 01:29:27 PM
Three ticket left of 6 national teams have to fight on qualifier matches, I am excited with the match Wales vs Poland and who will play on EURO 2024 in Germany and which one teams have eliminated.
Its difficult for predicting the winner between Wales or Poland on the last qualifier match Wales defeated Finland over 4-1 and the other match Poland qualified to next round qualifier after defeating Estonia.
Actually last team opponent for both team is not really strong and we can't compare the potential both of them will qualify to EURO 2026 in Germany, wish Poland under Robert Lewandowski has chance for playing in EURO 2024 and become completed after several teams have been qualified before.

I am 100% sure that Ukraine will definitely qualify for the next round.
For Greece, they were actually unlucky because they were in the same group as the Netherlands and France, and only finished in third place in Group B.
Even though Georgia has an advantage because they playing at home, I think Greece will still be able to win easily.
Wales is favorites to win because of the home advantage, Over 2.5 seems like a good choice to bet on the Wales vs Poland match.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: March 23, 2024, 12:25:27 PM
For me the best choice if I have to bet on a friendly match is just Both Teams To Score.
Its difficult to predict who will win or guess Over/under, even if we watch the live broadcast it often won't help much.
Because winning is not mandatory, the important thing is to play well, compactly according to the coach strategy and the most important is not to get injured.

My picks for Both Teams To Score today are:
Denmark vs Switzerland
England vs Brazil
France vs Germany
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 23, 2024, 11:56:45 AM
Considering the conditions Chelsea has been in for a couple of years I wouldn't expect any promising young star to pick Chelsea over another rich and more successful big team. It wouldn't make sense unless the player only cares about money rather than career development. Everyone knows how bad Chelsea has been about using its money for transfers.

Spending an amount around 1 billion euros in 2 years and getting literally 0 positive result from that... This is just terrible kind of management. Todd Boehly isn't a good club owner imho. Did Chelsea have a bad season under Abramovich's presidency? Of course, but they weren't this bad for a long time.  Sad

Chelsea has changed managers 4 times during the 2 years under Boehly's ownership.
Guardiola need a year before he able to win the Premier League title for Mancity, and Kloop even took 3 years to win the Premier League with Liverpool.

Chelsea must give Pochentino more time, and stop buying a lot of expensive players who have never played in the Premier League before.
These Chelsea players are now just run and run but with no results, there are too many individual mistakes because the players on the field are not yet completely united.

And Israel, wtf, they took a lead, conceded 2 goals then, missed penalty and then finished game by conceding 2 more goals. Result doesn't reflects the game.

Hehe it remind me the result of Europa Conference league between Olympiacos vs Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In the 1st leg Maccabi won with a score of 4-1 at Olympiakos home, but was instead beaten 1-6 at home in the 2nd leg.
Some of Maccabi Tel Aviv players are Israeli national players and that is the reason I have no intention of betting on the Iceland vs Israel match last night.
