201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: January 25, 2016, 06:26:50 PM
In my opinion....YES!
I talked with many friends about bitcoin and all of them are very skeptic.
Even my wife don't trust bitcoin and thinks that I wasting my time and money here Smiley
Believe me, I gave up and will not talk about bitcoin offline any more, to my friends, only online.

Meh, sing it loud and proud.  Friends come and go and as for the mrs yeah that is a triky one i can say my mrs took a while to understand wtf the deal was and even now shes not really into it.  Either way spread the word.

I am pretty sure with the results of yesterday when Manchester United lost at home by shouthampton, this accelerates van gaal fired.
van gaal has spent lot of money for buy some players i think if he could not bring  Man Utd title of champion or play very bad he deserved to be sacked
buy players would just be a waste of money, Manchester United really need a good manager.
like Liverpool when Klopp became manager. Liverpool do not buy players but managers can maximize existing players

Liverpool do have a great manager now.  I dont think united can solve the issue though really. They are a rich club but there are also 5-6 other tems who can win the league these days.  The scale of the top team advantage is getting less and less also.  Any EPL teams get huge attention and big money now, things have changed forever.

I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol

Dice is always a money trap. At least with BJ if you play "basic strategy" you have a chance of going on a roll and beating the house.

Are these BTC for fun? Or a big part of your income? Cause to lose that much money when you actually need it sucks.

I think if someone needs that money why would he even gamble that money ? But yes some do Sad

Some treat it like an investment, there is often complicated math involved so its easy to get tricked.  I think everyones goes through a stage in their life of trying to be a pro gambler in -ev games.

If you think you're addicted, email all gambling websites to block your email, account or even IP

If you are addicted its really tricky, there are too many websites an IP changers are really easy to install.  You can get a firefox plugin that does that in 2 minutes for example. I'd go and see a therapist, worth the money.

The problem isn't you are unlucky, the problem is the math is against you.  Doesn't matter what approach you should only play for fun with money that is not significant to you.

Arsenal in house playing so better than compare with Chelsea and today it has some high odds even it is playing this match home ground as i think Arsenal will win this match so that Arsenal ML is wise choice from my point of view.

I got a bad feeling for arsenal fans that chelsea are going to turn up in this game an win 0-1 1-2 whilst putting in a solid display frustrating arsenal.  Its just the kinda thing they would do.

Yep pretty chuffed with my prediction there, knew chelsea might pull this one out the bag.  Will catch the highlights tonight to see if it played out like i thought.  Congrats to those who bet on chelsea!

3.6% over what time frame? Anything shorter than annually and it's a ponzi scheme. SO my suggestion is to stay away from it. It's  even scary that Coinbase would welcome or partner with their service (if that return is for anything shorter than a year).

3.6% per year isn't much but it makes you wonder how do they even generate those returns in bitcoin.  They cant make sure 100% of those returns, i mean what if bitcoin because 1 million per coin next week, they wont pay?
208  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase giving Bitcoin holders interest ? on: January 24, 2016, 01:15:27 PM
I was reading this  Bitcoin Holders Can Now Receive Daily Interest Payments On Coinbase article on Cointelegraph : http://cointelegraph.com/news/116125/bitcoin-daily-interest-payments-coinbase and I was wondering who tried this ?
I can't seem to understand how it works exactly .

If you can get interest but still have open orders that would work good especially if they add LTC.  Currently i leave many open orders with bitcoin on exchanges and get nothing for it.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 24, 2016, 01:09:07 PM
Everton seems good as i think it will win this match against Swansea City but maybe this match can lead to draw and in that case i would like to place bet on both teams to score there because it has very high chance to make easy money.
yeah Everton showed the contrary show that it can play football very well against Chelsea and it has an excellent mix of young talent and experience. Everton is the rightful favorite and can play Swansea devastated as it has his day so i Pick: Everton @ 1.75

Everton @ 1.75 is a great bet, they win this game 7 out of 10 times imo.  Evertons league position currently makes no sense to me they could be top 4.

My prediction is Leicester ML and over 2.5 goals

Leicester has had declining performance lately and it is npt a good choice betting moneyline for them. They are good but that doesnt mean they will win this match easily, stoke has beaten most of the top club as well so even if leicester win , the score will probably be 1 goal margin and would be under 2.5 goals

Its a tricky one to predict with Leicester, they do have a declining performance lately but also you could see in the cup game against spurs they are saving themsevles for the league.  There is only 16? more games and if they put in big efforts into each one they could finish top 4 imo.
212  Economy / Gambling / Re: What makes PrimeDice the best? Or one of them? on: January 22, 2016, 10:22:26 PM
Based on alot of people talking about it, I've come to the conclusion (that may be wrong) that PrimeDice is the most popular bitcoin casino. But why? I can't use primedice in my country, so I don't know.

Is it the community?
Is it the increasing faucet?
Is it the good looks?
Is it the good reviews?
Is it the knowledge that they've survived more than a million dollars in loss?
I had been there for a long time, nice moderators and is the most and highest paying faucet providers with giveaway!

Not really the highest faucet now days u can say bro, I get only some 700 satoshi Sad per claim

Ya im down to just 200 per claim but its cool, i only like to play for fun and im guessing the faucet bot professionals have been targetting them.  Doesn't change anything about PD.

Most of the recent Leicester games have few goals except the Tottenham vs Leicester in first leg of FA Cup, and so I have also made an under 2.5 goals bet @ 1.964.

yepp seems like mahrez and vardy lost their confidence, many times missed the great chance and play very ordinary.
under 2.5 goals with nice odds almost two should be the best pick to get your money doubled.
but this time i want leicester city key players benched so they will focus in Premier League. my prediction tottenham -2 handicap.

Mahrez is still young at 24 years old lets remember it could take him a couple more years to have the mental stamina to perform for a whole season.  Vardy is likely suffering for not playing for a better overall team.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex does not let me withdraw my Coins ! (DANGER) on: January 20, 2016, 04:50:46 PM
VERY misleading title....

You hit freeze by accident.. it did EXACTLY what it was suppose to and they fixed it for you in a day..

WTF is your problem? Freeze account is SUPPOSE TO FREEZE YOU GOD DAMN ACCOUNT..

Agreed change the title bitfinex have proved themselve to be a pretty awesome exchange up to now.  We need customers picking different exchanges to keep the competition going though.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 20, 2016, 08:26:39 AM
my picks for today:
Leicester city vs Tottenham: win Leicester
Liverpool vs Exeter city: Win Liverpool and Over 2.5 goals

I agree its hard to look past a liverpool win but im going with spurs winning away to leicester.  Leicester might be higher in the league but overall spurs are the better team.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK Government Urged to use Blockchain by Chief Science advisor on: January 19, 2016, 09:16:23 PM
Their only interested into learning Blockchain system and eventually use it for governments works and not going steps towards crypto currencies themselves as they would surely want to be able to tweak it a bit so in the end, they still have some control over it as opposed to what it is now and their not the only one as many (other governments) have shown interests as well.

They have no choice but to look into it and once it gets its foot in the door it will spread like wild fire.  Centralized versions will prove more costly and perform worse. Maybe it will take our lifetimes but we'll be a fully decentralized society at some point.

How can netflix be bigger than youtube i dont get it.  You have to pay for netflix aswell dont you and youtube is free.  Also i think this is only in the USA netflix not as popular worldwide, still popular though.

PD community is actually pretty fun even if you aren't betting much you can usually find someone online to have a joke with or even a serious chat about bitcoin at times.
