"looks like i accidently pressed the freeze account button in my email"

one thing I need to say their support is incredible fast.
bitfinex support is great but transaction time is still way too slow.(bitcoin transactions take at least a couple hours)

BITFINEX !!!

Whatever you do, mind that the network is flooded with some attack today, again.

This means your coins can get delayed for several hours.

Just my opinion.

Yes, but you have to remember how similar things happened to all past services. Withdrawals started to take too long or get stopped and the result is, stolen coins.

The bitcoin network?  I had not heard this, and I haven't made any transactions lately so I haven't noticed.  Hmm.

OP just hang in there and hopefully all will be resolved--unless bitfinex pulls a Cryptsy, which I doubt.

Looks like everything is dealt with in a good way already.  Smiley I missed the original post but as I can see everythig's okay.

That's good because the least thing we need right now is another negative Bitcoin related news.

Don't really understand the point of your argument. If the account freezes by mistake and support is incredibly fast, why you haven't come to the conclusion yet ?  I think Bitfinex is not to be blamed for your silly mistake. You could wait until the freeze ban is lifted .

Yes, a little bit of an alarmist post.  Sure there is an issue but maybe not put DANGER in the title.  Things are a little shaky right now and we need to remain calm.

Agreed change the title bitfinex have proved themselve to be a pretty awesome exchange up to now.  We need customers picking different exchanges to keep the competition going though.

OP probably edited their post without editing its title after noticing that the problem was actually coming from them (i.e. when they froze their account by mistake).

I agree that OP should change the title of this thread as soon as possible. This is very misleading. Besides it could be taken as calumny, which is punishable by law if bitfinex wants to resort to it.

Pretty much every big chinese exchange has zero trading fees. Or so low that they are negliable.

Check out okcoin.com, btcchina.com and so on. okcoin is best for leveraged trading.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

That is true one of my transaction from my local exchanger took 3 hours to complete when it was 20 minutes before i thought I send it to the wrong address, that is the reason I only transact during daytime so i do not have to wait for the wee hours to see if the transaction push through
