201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2020, 08:05:26 AM
Believe me my friend, anywhere in the world, it is not easy to make money. If you see any airdrop that promises 100$, 200$, 300$, 500$ and above just for referring peeps, or sharing post online, then it is atmost 99% fraudulent.

Likewise, if you see trade signals that promises certainty, or bounties that promises you a fixed price for your token, be wary. It is not that easy nor realistic.
It's possible to make 200$ and more from Airdrops, even if projects promised a certain value of tokens it's all from the main value of their token, this isn't a dubious move my friend, many airdrops are scam as you said but some are still paying, I'm talking from experience, the reason why many still fall for this schemes is lack of good research, once you understand the difference you will hardly fall for bad projects
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: October 11, 2020, 08:02:34 AM
https://amplyfi.money/: Rug pulled after collecting 2,500 ETH from investors. Their social media and websites are gone

Beer Garden Finance: Founder holds over 50% of the token supply in his personal wallet. When our community asked for more details such as a github link for the project, or timelocks for the tokens they were banned from the Telegram group.

Burn Vault Finance ($BFV): Allegedly rug pulled. Their Telegram and social media no longer exist.

CBDAO ($BREE): The project had a presale for $SBREE tokens which would be swapped for $BREE. One of the admin wallets exploited a backdoor in the SBREE token contract, minted 50,000 SBREE, converted it to BREE and sold it on the market, pushing down the price of BREE at the expense of other holders. The 50,000 BREE was sold for under 200 ETH.

Degenballz: staking may steal 1% of your LP tokens.

Emerald Mine (EMD): User tokens worth nearly USD$2.5mil that were supposedly locked under a smart contract were moved to another account. Fortunately, cryptocurrency exchange ChangeNow managed to stop the sale of 135,020 EOS. However, this only represents a small fraction of the total amount stolen.

http://lv.finance/: Falsified audit results, after investors deposited their funds in they found they were unable to withdraw. The team has disappeared.

Minions Farm: Has cute Minions but will access all your assets when you connect your wallet to the Minions Wallet site.

https://steaks.finance/: Developers apparently had trouble interacting with their own timelock. Though some consider it may be due to a problem with their code rather than ill-intentions.

http://tomatoes.finance/: Hacker triggered simple permission granting and withdrew tokens.

UniCat ($MEOW): Back door in smart contracts allowed UniCat to keep control over users’ tokens even after they were withdrawn from the pool. Around USD$200,000 worth of crypto has supposedly been stolen.

Unirocket ($URCKT): Apparently rug-pulled, cannot be located on social media.

http://yfdex.finance/: Project promoted themselves on Twitter for 2 days, took a total of USD$20mil of investor funds and absconded.

These are just a tip of the iceberg, there are many fake DeFi projects everywhere this days, here on this forum, check out bounty section too, there are some useless scammy DeFi bounty projects there and also twitter social media too, I don't blame these scammers, they are here to take advantage, what about those promoting these projects and those investing their hard earned money on these projects? People need to learn, learning should come first before anything to successfully avoid these scammish projects, stay safe everyone and do deep research
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY AND UNFAIR TREATMENT OF HUNTERS on: September 30, 2020, 05:15:53 AM
It's really unfair, the way they treated with hunters. but haven't found any solution cause hunters don't have right to change the rules when manager have. I found most of manager mention that "rules can be changed",  that's the reason they exceeded the week without any further notice. Sometimes they reduce reward or exceeded distribution date & hunters have nothing to do. But if the project real, then nothing to worry about those issue
Developers and few bounty managers are rules breakers, since all bounties have this rule that ' bounty rules can be adjusted or change at any time' gives majority of new projects the chance to manipulate rules or postpone bounty hunters payment at any time, this year so far the only bounty project that wasted no time to pay bounty hunters is Cartesi, the kept their promises and treated bounty hunters like their own.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: September 30, 2020, 05:09:37 AM
As long as you select a good project which has a valid use case it doesn't matter how many participants it has the bounty will surely reward you. For example I am in Payaccept now and I have high hopes for it to succeed .
It's true that a project must have a very good use case to acquire good demand but if too many bounty hunters promote such project the reward won't be much, I still prefer bounties that introduce limited participants and fixed tokens, if none like this happens be ready to join multiple campaigns at once to atleast get good reward
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Noob's Guide to Building a $1,000 GPU MINING RIG ⛏ on: September 29, 2020, 10:05:19 AM
It's always better to mine coins without cases to get rid of heat easier unless you are mining with a single graphics card only, try mining without the case and you will see better cooling.

OP why no info about the name of the GPU in this ming rig? I would like to know how much one GPU will generate every 24hours of continues mining
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY HUNTERS: THE CARRIER OF ALL BLAMES IN NEW CRYPTO PROJECTS' PRICE DUMP on: September 29, 2020, 09:43:28 AM
Yes bounty hunters are blamed always because lets say 20 or 30% of hunters go to sell as soon as they receive reward tokens and we have to accept the fact that if there are a lot of sellers at a time price will dump so no need to be defensive or appologetic.
Infact it is the duty of the project to list at good exchange with high volume because the higher the liquidity there will be lesser dump from hunters selling.
There are few facts about crypto projects you aren't getting, lack of demand for any projects is the fastest way for coins and tokens to lose value, projects with high demands in the market have nothing to worry about, for example if a project has approximately 2million trading volume on exchange every 24hours what damage can bounty hunters do when all bounty allocation is not up to 5% of the entirely max supply of the coin or token?
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker started to eliminate tokens stolen from KuCoin on: September 29, 2020, 09:30:19 AM
Kucoin team have already said they will reimburse all stolen funds and few projects have switch their smart contract making the stolen token worthless but project like DIA which plan to stick with it's decentralized utility plan not to switch to another smart contract, some plans are in motion already but I doubt they can fix the issue without switching to new smart contract
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: August 03, 2020, 08:30:02 PM
Escrow and limited participants is the best two ways to get rid of too many bounty participants today, it works and few reliable bounty managers like bubbalex and bounty detective are already using this two ways in their bounty campaigns and it works
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 03, 2020, 08:24:48 PM
Stable coins are the perfect tools for trading crypto on top exchanges, you can use stable coin to fixed your USD or coins to avoid volatility or dump in value, if you are worried about security use decentralized stable coin like DAI but stay away from Centralized stable coins
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 03, 2020, 08:20:48 PM
ICO are bad idea nowadays, investors don't trust them anymore, if any new project have to use ICO to raise fund for development it should have better exposure and better partnerships for investors to develop interest
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: August 02, 2020, 08:20:57 AM
The title sound funny right. It is not news that the crypto market is booming now, I hope you are already putting every necessary things in place to maximize the state of the market now and the state to come. If you are yet to start investing in one or two promising project by now, it means you are still sleeping. Wake up and do something. I have seen a lot of post complaining about how they missed out of 2017, are you sure you are not going to miss out of this? Hmmmm.
Serious investors should have prepared for this right after the Bitcoin halving, buying coins right now can be too risky unless it's one of the altcoins that failed to surge after Bitcoin hits 11000$, I can't buy ethereum and few top altcoins because they are high in value already
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regret always comes late, is there anyone who has experienced something similar? on: August 02, 2020, 08:17:23 AM
Very funny, but it does happen especially when you have lots of coins in your wallet and sometimes it's difficult to monitor it when it's pumping especially when you are into some offline hustle by the time you come online after some days you hear a token you have been holding got pumped, that feelings is painful but not bad luck though
It's not hard to monitor your coins and tokens using blockfolio, every single information about your coins will be displayed in a single interface, I am a full time crypto person and I don't take my eye off crypto charts everyday
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 02, 2020, 08:11:39 AM
Coinbase is a popular crypto company but when it comes to storing coins it's a bad move to keep them on coinbase wallet, I use coinbase wallet to trade and to buy coins using bank account and card which not all wallets can do and I transfer the coins to my other wallet that Ive saved it's Mnemonic seed
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: August 02, 2020, 06:03:58 AM
Day trading is very good for making profits every day, out can use the money to make a living just to survive and long term holding is good if you plan to be a future whale someday, I recommend doing both instead, also there is IEO launchpad too that's very profitable
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who said that ICOs are dead? on: August 01, 2020, 09:06:27 AM
Is ICO that useless? Of course not but what really happened is lack of trust that's completely missing in ICO crowdfunding, IEO does things better and safer than ICO crowdfunding, Avalanche is successful because it's damn good project
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: August 01, 2020, 09:01:29 AM
Why would whitepaper matters to anyone? Because in crypto projects actions speaks louder than words, many projects have good roadmap but the team are their main problem, roadmaps, whitepaper are all based on empty words, capable team is the best
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: August 01, 2020, 08:54:39 AM
Yes more money can be made through bugs detection and crypto apps building but not all people can do this, Bounties and Airdrops are more easier than building applications and finding bugs, bounties and Airdrops will remain the easiest way to make money in crypto space
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty thread with self moderated lock on: August 01, 2020, 08:51:02 AM
Self moderated bounty threads are scam projects, the reason why its self moderated is to avoid any scam busting posts or comments, I don't advice anyone to join any project using self moderated thread for their bounty campaigns
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 27, 2020, 09:01:26 AM
actually the exchange does not really affect the performance of the project.
and I think there are some projects that are listed on a small exchange then move to a bigger one.
so if your project is good people will still use the tokens you sell.
Exchanges will surely affect how a token performs, low marketcap, low liquidity, this are bad for projects, even if the token has a very good use case it will perform better will top exchanges, I get your point saying use case is the reason why tokens perform better but with top exchanges they perform even more better
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: July 27, 2020, 08:52:05 AM
No im not that interested in bounties that pays on usdt, though its the best way to avoid volatility but some new projects are just too damn good that you'd wish you are paid in their tokens instead, for example that injective protocol and ludena protocol, they both pay participants in ETH but these two projects are very promising
