201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: April 12, 2024, 11:57:55 PM
It really wasn't that shocking that Hilal won the super cup, they are the best team in the league right now so it is only natural that they would win. I think it is also quite important to see Nasr was better than Ittihad anyway, just that they matched up earlier, so it was already known this game would end this way.

I think it is quite important to keep this squad going but I do not know how Saudis are seeing this experiment. Anyone knows what's going on? Like are they going to keep spending money more and more like this forever? Or are they just going to let it be and not really focus on anything else? Because to me it looks like we are going to end up with a greater return, and they should keep pumping money into this league, makes it fun.
Its not really shocked with Al Hilal success winning Super Cup final after beating Al Ittihad and reached their 34th victory in this season behind Al Hilal has domestic league matches left and AFC Champion League semifinal matches. The first tittle success lock by Al Hilal and currently next target for winning domestic league and then lead to final AFC Champion League must be the winner.

For next season seems not change with Al Hilal and some team tradition spending much money for signing top players, most of Saudi Arabia's club have good financial and easy to list top players for signing. Saudi Arabia have advertising their country as host of World Cup on 2034 and they won't loss reputation without make some top players as ambassador or their iconic symbol.

No, it will be changed since the recent announcement came from SPL to make sure it will efficient in buying the new players. There will be no stupid things like buy players with non sense price. Things have been changing a lot since saudi has got its main target to hold world cup 2030.
Saudi will not be crazily wasting money to buy unnecessary player and im sure less european players will come to the saudi pro league caused by this. I can also mention the latest statement regarding this. It makes me think that saudi will spend less soon.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation become big challenge for retired people after 10-20 years? on: April 12, 2024, 02:27:43 PM
I think inflation is a big challenge when it's very high, and it hits vulnerable people more than other people because they're already struggling and inflation just exacerbates the problems. In my country, the elderly are a big social group, and also a very vulnerable one (with a higher poverty rate than average). So yeah, inflation is a challenge for them, and considering that the Pension Fund is getting smaller, it will be an even bigger challenge in 10–20 years, unless we figure out how to improve the overall economic situation and the pension situation specifically. But that all can be different in another country.
the only way is to repurpose that pension fund through investment where it might yield enough to overcome inflation, just remember at the time of pandemic the inflation is really overwhelming even the effect still can be felt until today where the price of commodity and basic needs are sky rocketing and it never come down even after the pandemic itself is finally coming to an end.
inflation will really affect those pension fund that just being kept not reinvested but knowing that even investing might not be the best idea because inherent risk carried also something need to be taken into account too.
there's just really no solution yet to overcome this problem, elderly people are the ones that actually really in need of money aside from fulfilling their basic need such as food and clothing the elderly people are also have their share of problems too, hopefully though there will be solution to this, otherwise the pension fund worth will just get smaller and smaller over the course of the year.
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Martingale strategy With Stop Loss on: April 12, 2024, 01:39:08 PM
Martingale is good and all until you hit lose streak, you might think such thing won't be possible with trading but with future which most of people usually trading within short interval its definitely possible.
if you have experienced with future I think you might notice some people that have lose streak, you can see some example in the dex that also provides futures as a feature.
there are some people whose address are having some lose streak, but with martingale indeed it might delay our losses if our strategy is bad and we undeniably gonna incur losses.
but until when, the burden of making the lost capital up is being compensated through multiplying the capital on stake, but if we for example just having a bad day it could easily drain us of our capital.
since the more loses we get, the bigger chance that we gonna lose our money altogether, thats just how bad it is.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool, a possible earning opportunity? on: April 12, 2024, 12:58:02 PM
Another success was added to Binance's Launchpool project, SAGA. SAGA was listed for trading today, 9/4/24, at 12:00 UTC, with a starting price of approximately $4.5. The price quickly climbed up to $5 and is currently up to $6.60 per coin; that's astonishing! Providing that I sell my coins as we speak, SAGA would yield me a profit of $85 for just 4 days of staking; that's an incredible return. I'm not sure if I'll sell yet, because from what I've noticed, the majority of projects are still climbing a few days after their launch; see Ethena (ENA), for instance, which is now worth over $1.30. I would have made over $150 if I had held my coins for longer.
Saga probably gonna be the same case of celestia all over again this coin is bullish on its own, those that bought when the price were still low also probably holding anyway since they sees potential from this coin, too bad i was too late to buy when the price tanked exactly at the time people are selling their bags but im kinda doubtful to get in now since as you have already know the price already growing up quite high now it seems.
probably gonna be on the lookout for the next launchpool, the fact that so many project nowadays require staking to get rewards pressing on our wallet, binance launchpool is no exception.
alas regardless binance launchpool so far has been showing quite profitable staking program, so many projects actually allocating big chunk of total supply just for binance launchpool alone hoping to get listed to the exchange which works to some extent to pump their coin to another level and produce billions of trading volume, thats just how a big exchange could carry the reputation.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: April 11, 2024, 02:29:14 PM
well, in my opinion, don't borrow money just to buy the things we want, if we really want the things we want then what we have to do is work hard, not by taking out a loan, although maybe we can pay it another day, but in my opinion it's better It's better to just hold back for a while until we have the money to be able to buy it, because if we buy it with cash and actually use our own money, the feeling will be very different, I experienced this myself, where I want to own a motorbike, and with me having a job that earns me enough money to be able to buy it even if it's not enough, and the way I have to save is by collecting the money I earn, there was a thought that I wanted to borrow money and buy what I wanted then I paid the loan monthly, which I I'm afraid of a disaster like losing my job after having debt, therefore I prefer to collect money first and then buy what I want.

In my opinion, by borrowing money, it will probably burden our minds, where we will continue to pay until it is paid off, even though we don't know our fate in the future. However, there are some people in my environment, especially those who work in factories with quite large salaries, who dare to buy a motorbike by borrowing money and paying it every month, but I don't think about that because I think it has its own risks as I was afraid of.
usually having mentality of differentiating buying something that actually unnecessary is good for the long term there are many people that didn't even realize they don't really need the stuff they want until they bought it then they realized that actually they should be sufficient with using not expensive stuff but went on buying expensive stuff just because they can and suffer financially from that.
i've seen the discipline of money management actually helps a lot, even for an employee with determined salary could save up for saving and then make side hustle out of their investment.
I think this is why having financial education is crucial so that we know how to manage our money wisely.
because there are too many people out there being too consumptive ended up broke later on in their life and need a support just to live, definitely i won't be striving to be such person instead i want to become a self sufficient person with wise financial management so that i won't burden anyone in the future.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 11, 2024, 01:26:51 PM
Playing a draw at home is not always considered bad if Arsenal can provide a better game in the second leg (away match). Of course, Bayern Munich will likely be the favorite at home, but Arsenal is a good team who will most likely also win the second leg.

Manchester City and Arsenal both ended the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals with a draw. They have good form to hope for a ticket to the semifinals, but Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also have the same chance in the second leg. This match will be very interesting of course, that's because all four teams still have a chance.
From this match it was clear that Arsenal dominated the game and they also managed to score the first score. Actually, if we look at Arsenal's performance then victory is in sight. Luckily, Bayern Munich got a penalty kick so they managed to make the result end in a draw. If Bayern Munich didn't managed to take advantage of this opportunity, Arsenal emerged as the winners. I am sure that in the second leg Arsenal will use their full strength to snatch victory from Bayern Munich.
I doubt that Arsenal can win this round, indeed both teams still have the same chance, but in the next match Arsenal will face Munich away, of course this will make Arsenal feel pressured and I'm not sure that even if Arsenal uses all their strength, Munich will also do the same thing, let alone competing at home will make Munich more confident to win.
Arteta must not be bottled the trophy like last season in order to keep the good name that is starting to be rebuilt again by the players and him. It would be better for Arsenal to fire Arteta if he is unable to deliver a trophy this season caused by it will be a disgraceful result when arteta will be trophyless again this season. Arsenal has recently performed admirably in the English Premier League by keep winning the game till this time, but they appear to be struggling in the Champions League as the draw against bayern has proven it. If Arsenal fails to win a trophy again, many will accuse the team of lacking a winning mentality.
I'm sure many people are ready to mock this club very soon. Arsenal still has the possibility of going trophyless again, and this will be a hot topic among football fans everywhere.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation become big challenge for retired people after 10-20 years? on: April 11, 2024, 01:20:19 PM
its gonna be a problem if they just don't invest their money and let it just stay in their bank account certainly the inflation gonna eats up their life saving its undeniable truth but even then investing also carries risk which old people usually can't afford to have, its overall really difficult situation to get in, the best way is to have life saving as well as investment and big chunk at that but very few old people actually have such thing most of them just have life saving, I think saving gold might be viable for them at least to mantain their lifesaving worth but its indeed gonna be such a hassle but its still worth to try to look into.
overall it does gonna pose a challange for those elderly people, there's reason why managed investment fund by competent fund manager is a thing they offer exactly that to counter inflation but there are cases where the investment failing.
its always good to be rich when we are still young at least not elderly enough to have limited energy to do anything that requires hard work honestly.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 11, 2024, 01:18:33 PM
Liverpool will be playing against Atalanta in tonight's encounter but we shouldn't have much faith with these guys  (Liverpool) because we see them scoring much goals before getting to the quarter finals, playing like they're in the final or something but let's not forget that Liverpool are playing with caution, Klopp won't want anything to affect any of his best players since they played a draw against UTD and they're second on the log in the EPL.
Klopp would try to get his boys to start leading the game from the first half but I see the visitors giving Liverpool a bit of a headache and if some how the away team somehow gets a win in this first leg like 0-1 then there would be much pressure on Liverpool, well it won't be too easy for that to happen and I feel the return leg won't be easy for Klopp and his boys (that's if Liverpool lose 0-1) but I'd say a draw is likely to happen in this encounter.
Klopp normally has a wrong tactical formation whenever he meets Manchester United, however that won't stop him from likely winning Atalanta who are currently occupying the 6th position in Italian seria A with 50 points. Atalanta are obviously the underdog's in that encounter. Liverpool won't be deterred by the draw they had in the premium league encounter with united.  These first leg is going to be played in anfield, which Liverpool will definitely fight to get a win and maybe try to get a draw when they go over to Italy, because the pressure will definitely be on the Italian side if Liverpool gets a win for which is highly possible tonight.
Liverpool is powerful and many people are also fully believing on liverpool since the club was performing even better than before, but never underestimate your opponents. Atalanta's level is far lower than Liverpool, but if Atalanta can force Liverpool to play full attack against and it may open the possibility for atalanta to win against liverpool, I believe they have a chance to make the situation even worse for the liverpool as long as atalanta will be only doing parking bull for the whole game. Things are not easy for Atalanta because it has got a club on the same level as Manchester City as its opponent which is also decreasing atalanta's chance to win the competition.

I have nothing to say when it comes to comparing the squads of Liverpool and Atalanta. It's obvious that Liverpool had the better squad in this match. Atalanta isn't so bad as long as it can play fully defensive against Liverpool.
There is no way for Atlanta to win this game unless they employ the parking bus strategy against Liverpool soon. Even Liverpool can still pose a threat, but the parking bus increases Atlanta's chances of a positive result against Liverpool. Put ten players in front of the goalkeepers.
That's the key to beating Liverpool. I didn't see any other options.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: April 11, 2024, 12:57:09 PM
the only thing that keeps me from buying solana personally is the fact that they just got too many problem with the power outage like its literally crippling the blockchain for few hours and I think talking about blockchain thats already bad enough, right now they are proposing the solution but we don't know if that gonna work anyway thats the only thing actually holding solana, the coin itself is quite strong, even i think it can be contender to the coin above it such as BNB I mean it has history of overtaking the BNB few times already but the power outage are not something to just shove under the rug.
but investment wise, im gonna be lying if i don't say that solana itself has been performing quite great arguably has helped so many people become rich by investing in solana when the price were still around $12 if i remember correctly and thats what investor and trader are seeking price gain with the coin that they favour.
but sometime just price increase won't sufficient for long term sustaining the price itself, hopefully the next proposed solution that already on the testing right now could solve whatever problem it has.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 11, 2024, 12:42:59 PM
Barcelona managed to win the match against PSG at home with a narrow score, a surprising victory. I thought that in this first meeting, PSG could win the match, but it turns out that PSG actually lost. I think this is over for PSG. Their chances of advancing to the semifinals are very small. Barcelona will won again when competing at home.
It was as if they were going to loss in the encounter between PSG and Barca and while I was anticipating a draw, PSG just couldn't do anything about the midfield control from Barca. The goal difference isn't that much and although the chances are slim for a comeback from PSG in their next leg, I doubt they would do much to win the Barca side that is still way stronger than as thought in this season.
Atletico was actually my favorite to win last night and they didn't prove me wrong at all.

Yes, even though many doubted Barcelona's performance when facing PSG in this match, the fact is that Barcelona was able to dispel these doubts, PSG is still far behind compared to Barcelona even though Barca's performance in Laliga is sometimes inconsistent, unlike Madrid, but when compared to League 1 teams which are not very competitive, Barcelona still superior in every way.
Atlètico is clearly the favorite in this match because they are playing at home, even though they only won narrowly, at least they can still hold Dortmund to a draw in the next match so they have the chance to qualify for the semifinals.

I don't think so. Many thought Barcelona could win the game, though. It's not all about the bad opinions if Barcelona loses in this match. As you can see, Barcelona is trying so hard to make the situation even better than before. Things are going even better than I thought for Barcelona because the club was able to beat PSG with very good scores in the last match.
Barcelona was doing everything very well in that game by making a dramatic comeback that was helping the club a lot. Raphiha become man of the match in this game because he scored two goals, and he was also helping his club to secure one goal aggregate for the second leg at Campnou.
It's a perfect result since PSG was playing equally in this game and i expect barcelona to win the second leg easily against PSG. It sounds too good to be true for PSG to make its comeback against barcelona at the second leg.
I strongly believe that if PSG is likely out from the UCL soon this will also make mbappe try to tell the public about his final decision regarding his rumor being linked to the real madrid. Please, barcelona. You can send PSG out from UCL.
It will make the future of mbappe clear as he announces his decision on whether to stay or depart from the club.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: April 10, 2024, 01:32:18 PM
Off course poverty it self is a big problem that it hinders you from seeing far and confined you to a level, the poor always see those living a lugeriuous life as people who don't know what they are doing
Just as the writer has said there are environment you expose your self to that things begin to work well better for you
absolutely. Environment effect is one of th reason why we call something luxury. Most of the the things we from the average developing country look at as a luxurious things are what's readily available for an average person in a developed world and they don't normally make a big deal out of it. That's why most persons that a e living in such an environment are more productive and industrious because they have so many previlages that's for some one in an environment like ours is termed luxury but for them, it's just a necessity that helps one live a more comfortable life.
i agree with this the discrepancy between the developing country and developed country is huge actually, whereas almost all of the people in developed country are having laptops to work with, people in developing country are having a hard time getting one, its clearly reflected if we take iphone as an example, whereas its just 1 month wage to pay for an iphone if we are working in developed country and its gonna be whole 2 year for people coming from developing country to buy an iphone. such huge differences applied to whatever electronics there is that I think its also one of the reason that hinder literacy from growing further in certain developing country where they just can't afford what people from developed country could afford.
its just overall a really bad situation to get in but there's nothing that they can do, best way is to get scholarship, even it doesn't guarantee success, some people with scholarship ended up with their old lifestyle being poor again because nepotism is rampant.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Is fossil fuels REALLY running out quickly, or do we still have time? on: April 10, 2024, 01:07:57 PM
Maybe fossil fuels are starting to run out. It is quite difficult to find new sources of fossil fuels. This creates a huge need for fossil fuels but limited stocks. This encourages these skilled people to find new sources, and electric vehicles are the solution. However, I am of the opinion that this will not change immediately, and it will change little by little. We also have to continue to adapt to today's very fast technological developments, otherwise we might have difficulties in the future.
maybe there are still some big oil fuel deposits left that we have yet to discover nobody knows, but the scientist expected that the oil will eventually run out at certain point which I think holds truth because we all know how long it takes for an oil deposit to be formed it takes millions of years if im not mistaken and that alone already such a problem if we always depends on the oil fuel itself.
that is exactly why car companies right now are trying out alternative fuel such as hydrogen as well as electric which we might know that huge chunk of electricity nowaday are actually generated from coal which actually is no different if compared with fossil fuel like oil since it takes time to form but with electricity at least we can slowly switch over to more renewable energy such as wind turbine and so on.
personally I think the steps that government is taking right now is exactly like your opinion to let the citizens change the way they get their energy little by little.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Gamefi really dead? on: April 10, 2024, 12:24:18 PM
because so many gamefi dev are just trying to grab money most of their product are just simply unfinished product or a failing product getting recycled by simply integrating some random NFT and blockchain mechanism and call it a day, as a result is a half assed games that aren't fun to play but people are playing it because they want rewards, playing these games is a chore honestly and you will be really bored from it.
i think thats why so many people are having rather negative sentiment towards these gamefi.
i personally won't expect anything good from this niche anymore at best its just some hypes generated for the sake of their token introduction and thats it.
some project are definitely getting good market valuation but does their product deserving of billions market cap and at least hundred millions of market cap though, thats the real question here since most of these game fi feels like unfinished niche to be honest.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the Altcoins Going to Dip in Short Term? on: April 09, 2024, 06:48:53 AM
For top altcoins, we can decide to hold a longer time when it is not profitable to sell now. However, if it is for shitcoins, you sometimes need to sell for loss because if you are holding for a longer time, you will end up with losing all the money.
Top altcoins are also quite risky if Bitcoin is unstable or Bitcoin dominance increases. If it is to hold long term, you should really pay attention to the top Altcoins, and use your cash reserves to buy when the crash suddenly comes. I also buy some shitcoins sat presale and sell them when they list, never hold a shitcoin any longer because it will go down like crazy.

so far top altcoin always move based on what bitcoin is gonna do next, if it pumps then it pumps if it dumps the opposite scenario happen, if the market is just as obvious as that, i don't think i can call it risky, i would say its risky if it venture in different path compared to bitcoin only then investing in it will be risky even more so if the altcoin is going toward the direction of bearish on its own disregarding bitcoin price movement probably caused by certain event happened toward the project such as some incident and so on, as long as coin just following bitcoin path anyway, i have no problem with it at all, certainly at some point it will recover back, in the market of bullish, i'm even more assured if the coin just follow bitcoin's path, at least that way its more easier to predict the price movement.
though if you see in the market despite the price correction that now have recovered anyway, certain coin are gaining some massive gain like ena and wormhole, these are just examples, though they are not top altcoin.
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: April 09, 2024, 06:30:46 AM
What Bitcoin did this year I have never seen before. I was expecting bitcoin to set a new all-time high after halving, but bitcoin surprised me by setting a new all-time high before halving. Bitcoin is just $30k plus away to reach the $100k price, and I think after halving, bitcoin will achieve this $100k price. Soon you will never see the price of bitcoin at this $60k plus again because it will be pushing to break into the $80k price.
considering from the past chart i won't get fixated too much on the halving to be honest, but what comes after it, usually after halving market become so bullish, when halving event happened yes the price might not make any meaningful movement but after that usually the chart always climbs up as high as it can, if the target right now is $100k im sure it can happen, bitcoin just breakthrough $70k easily this week, i'm expecting such thing and more massive rally to be arriving sooner or later. i'm currently holding BTC and ETH and i'm really hoping that the bullrun won't just end at $70k, since many institutional investors are getting in meaning the market just becoming stronger than ever. i'm quite faithful with bitcoin.
what i have doubt about though is etheruem whereas even though there are many companies that tries to fill in ethereum ETF proposal but i still have doubt whether its gonna be approved or not and if not its gonna be having some price pullback im afraid but that might be just my speculation.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2024, 05:14:44 PM
Heidenheim was able to score their third goal on the 79th minutes by T. Kleindienst to give them victory over Bayern Munich, as they failed to equalize the goal and share points. The point gap between Munich and Leverkusen is increasing, as it has increased to 16 points, making it impossible for Bayern Munich to close the points gap.

I don't know what is happening to Bayern Munich currently, as they have become inconsistent, and losing to smaller clubs. It might be a big problem for them when they clash with Arsenal in the Champions League. If Bayern Munich is not careful VfB Stuttgart might overtake them.
Bayern Munich seems to have lost their best playing form and they even seem to be very weak in the defensive area. Bayern Munich's defeat in that match made them even further behind Leverkusen, so it is certain that this season's title race is increasingly closed for them. This will be a bad season for Bayern Munich because despite having great players they fail to dominate.

I think the coach's ability is the problem because previously Bayern Munich did not play as badly as this season. The coach is much more responsible because he is the one who determines the strategy in playing so that good and bad results will be determined by the coach's strategy, although the players are also responsible for some of the bad results they get.
The problem with Bayern Munich this season seems to be the head coach and the Bayern Munich players, because anytime Bayern Munich is playing an away match, they always find it hard to beat their opponents, even though it is a small club. With the situation at Bayern Munich, no club is afraid of playing against Bayern Munich because they know Bayern Munich is a weak club now.

No integration and chemistry between head coach and players.
So many internal problems that are still remain unsolving till this time

There have been many reasons why Bayern keeps performing like shit even though it has 1 billion squad. Munich has declined a lot since tuchel was taking a job as ahead coach. The good news if bayern munich probably rehired naglessmann to be a new appointment for the upcoming season.

Tuchel successfully broke Bayern's record of dominating the Bundesliga for more than a decade. He has revived the club. Munich is weak now and it makes me worried about the match of it against arsenal soon.

We know arsenal is still at its peak performance. This gonna the end for munich in UCL.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: April 08, 2024, 08:53:23 AM
Bots that are used to answer questions to consumers in market place accounts do have limitations and not all of them can answer if it is not about basic things about the product that we have inputted data and we entered into the program, they will not answer correctly as a whole. I often ask questions to shops in the market place about the products they sell and I ask questions that I want to know but the bot does not answer properly.

Whether or not it is effective to help marketing depends on the scope of the bot because it is not open source like other AI that has larger data compared to bots like that, marketing in the digital era is quite broad and we can basically use many things to support the market that suits our target with the many social media that offer advertising services on their platforms it is much easier.
talking about these chatbots with that gets integrated with AI to be honest still too early, yes they have limitation but it mainly due to limited resources supplied to them anyway, eventually it will reach to the point where it knowledgeable enough to answer most of the question, remember that as you asked whatever thing to them they also use that data to further learn and improve their model, moreover more parameters are supplied to these newest LLM models so i'm expecting there to be significant improvement, but yes maybe due to these AI chatbots still in early phase it might not be suited for you to use for commercial, real customer support is still necessary since we are talking about brand reputation here.
regardless though having AI to help navigating around amazon for example to find the stuff that exactly suits our needs might be great though speaking from experience and it could help stay in the platform for any customer.
after all these digital age marketing is all about building brands and smooth UI/UX experience for customers, so these AI can still helps.
personally I think its effective marketing, when all the human customer support are offline these bots can be deployed for backups.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: April 08, 2024, 07:52:08 AM

Those of us who troll the performance of Messi, Neymar or Ronaldo or create memes about them are never at their level. Similarly, those of us who laugh at Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter or say that he acted like a fool by buying Twitter for such a huge amount of money, we are not Elon Musk's class of people at all. Elon Musk's thoughts will never match our thoughts. Elon Musk is a billionaire and he is one of the richest people in the world, but we can never think the way he would. The huge amount of money he bought Twitter with is a lot of money to us but maybe the money to buy Twitter is not that much to him and he must have bought Twitter thoughtfully.

Since he is not upset about his two purchases, we should not fear that he has acted foolishly.

Spot on. He most certainly thinks long term. Most of the funds collected came from people/companies who trust him, they still do.
he bought twitter on a whim anyway, he probably trying to find a company that could raise his influence and win the trust of people through various means and twitter is definitely one of them even if it tanked in valuation its not gonna do anything, elon not gonna sell it so its really just unrealized floating loss for him unless he sold all his stocks he won't be regretting his own decision moreover its such a good way to advertise for his own company, even if the advertisers are going out of the platform he himself find a way to still make money through various means one of them is through the blue or gold ticker that arguably make scams and fake account more flourishing which definitely is its disadvantage but it does give profit to twitter.
hopefully though he can sort out whatever problem in the platform, many people are already tired with twitter and its current state nowaday as a den of scammers with their fake account purposefully created for phishing people.
if elon could overcome this problem, the valuation of twitter might increase again in the future it matters of his own decision to make twitter a better place.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: considering the advantage of Fiats over Cryptocurrencies on: April 08, 2024, 07:39:13 AM
We cannot compare fiat and cryptocurrency, because both of these have their respective advantages and disadvantages. For example, for regular transactions, perhaps fiat has an advantage because it is easier to use and more people accept it. However, for ease of international transactions, cryptocurrency can make things easier for users because transaction times are faster and fees are much cheaper. And many other advantages and disadvantages between fiat and crypto. So there is no need to compare these two things because if we can use both, why choose one and discredit the other.
basically use fiat if its just for daily living and crypto for investment thats for me, there are certain countries that forbid the use of crypto for transaction that could be one of implication with using crypto though but i'm sure most of developed countries are allowing crypto as long as its reported when we are paying taxes, since country varies in term of law, we can't be sure though.
but to keep it simple, use what convenient for you, fiat so far is still the most convenient when making transactions within a country since its the legal currency approved by the government so its more widely used for people.
but so far even using crypto for investment alone is already suffice in my opinion since the profit itself is massive if compared with other investment like gold and so on.
therefore its just seeing advantages and disadvantages and thats it, not even worth compare and I do agree with your statement.

Chelsea lost 2 points by drawing with Sheffield United in the last place, and their spectacular win over Manchester United 3 days ago lost all meaning. A Chelsea that couldn't even beat a team that was guaranteed to be relegated was the summary of this season for them. It would be good if they renewed the entire squad for next season. This cannot be done with the Osimhen transfer alone. I passed the championship, they cannot even play for the top 4 with this squad.
A very bad habit owned by chelsea. The club played a bit better once it faced the big clubs, but it played so awfully against the low-tier club like Sheffield united. It's a shame since Chelsea owned the game against Sheffield. All that I can see from Chelsea is always doing pass and pass , no more.
Meanwhile, sheffield united was consistently attacking chelsea since it conceded the first goal. Being unable to win against a garbage club like Sheffield United is another disaster for the club.

That's all that I can see from this match is how inconsistent the defenders of Chelsea are. They very often gave free space to the Sheffield players to shoot. Even Sheffield dominated the goal attempts compared to the Chelsea, which shows how terrible Chelsea is now.
Once again the fans booed chelsea team. The team shall be ashame caused by they were not able to fuckin win against relegation clube. Two times in a row.

The first one was when Chelsea faced Burnley, and yet again, it was unable to win the game against Burnley, which is on the same level as Sheffield. This club is so bad.
