Is the wallet containing the #1 address on the rich list holding 914,627.42 DCM unlocked and minting? Answered.
I was wondering how the weight works. The network weight is 181. Does this mean that everyone that has an unlocked wallet get a portion of that cumulative weight? Or is 181 the average weight meaning that some wallets have higher than 181 and some have lower?
Also, does having multiple addresses with different balances help or hurt your chances of minting? Does your weight reflect your entire balance or just one of your addresses?
Also please stop replying to people that are here to do nothing but hinder growth of DCM.

So Bittrex does not mint. Lets assume all other addresses are minting on the network. 1,350,353 total DCM exist - 897,627.42 DCM in Bittrexs address = 452,725.58 total DCM minting on the network The network has a weight of 181. 452,725.58 total DCM minting on the network / 181 network weight = 4,482.43149 DCM per 1% of network weight Hmm.. this math doesnt make any sense. I would need to know the total amount of DCM being minting to figure out if this is actually how the network works. The total coins in the network now, according to the blockchain (Mintpal + wallets) = 1,347,128.44. The initial distribution was 1.35 million. What happened to the other: 2871.56 that isn't showing up in the blockchain? |

It probably will. Be patient, you can't expect these things to happen overnight if you want the growth to be sustainable. +1. And I for one, would love to be part of a stable coin for once. There aren't too many out there (BTC, BC, VTC). The notion of being able to set it and forget it would be awesome, instead of having to check every day to make sure that the coin hasn't lost 80% of it's value. |

This is pretty exciting. This could really turn into something great. I've actually been wondering what it would be like if two currencies began working together. This will be exciting, and great for both coins

how about instead of complaining about me you use some btc and bring the prices up on the exchange, create volume, I mean you have 100+ btc and team members are holding stacks and stacks of dcm.. just create buy orders and buy from yourself... get shit moving...

I don't usually mine/stake my coins, i just invest, so the POS system is still not 100% clear for me even after reading the wiki.
-why is there a stake period of max 40 days ?
-"10% interest yearly" does this mean i'll get 10% only after 365 days of holding my coins in my wallet ?
I don't know the answer to the first question. But with your second one, this coin has a POS interest rate of 10% yearly. Once the coins in your wallet are mature (24 hours), you begin getting your staking interest daily. The daily payouts will equal 10% of your total balance over 365 days. |

Why DCM/BTC Bittrex's market has been disabled ?
Not sure, but noticed some oddities before they disabled it -- such as new orders not showing up on the order list. Annoyingly I see Bittrex won't let you cancel an order when a market has been disabled. I expect it's a minor thing, but rather not get some orders filled if it's a real problem. Well, I don't know but bittrex was down earlier today, might have something to do with that. EDIT: looking into it I had that problem all day. The buy/sell orders never updated, and when I put a buy in, it never showed. When I asked a page back what everyone was seeing....that's why I was asking. Thought it might be something with my phone, but it was the site because it was the same for me when I got home. |

Can someone tell me what the current high sell/buy orders are on Bittrex. My screen seems stuck and it doesn't seem right because it won't fill my order.
My High sell shows 0.00007699 1019.44360886 Which I'm guessing is not right.
Edit: Now I know it's not right. Its telling me the ask is 0.00009395 at the top of the page, but the orders are not updating. Weird....

Hello good people,
Many of you who I've spoken with via pm and through other channels are aware of the work we are currently putting in to ensure Digital Commerce has a bright future. I want you all to know that much of what we will announce over the coming days/weeks/months is actually just part of a bigger project that resides at the core. The core idea, without making us look pompous, is so magnificent in scope and imagination that when complete every one of us including our team will be rewarded beyond anything we have seen in the altcoin world. The multi-vendor site is a huge undertaking, yet this is still just a piece of the finished product. Our supporters I cannot thank enough, your kind words over the last week have made the hundreds of hours we put into this worth every minute.
Many of you have expressed an opinion that I myself share, crypto is fickle, sometimes petty even. DCM will be what is referred to as a "sleeping giant". Our team is prepping the road right now for this "giant" as it will need a very large and carefully orchestrated foundation to stand on. Those of you that have been here since launch and IPO will be the most rewarded as you are currently helping this dev team carry the torch. The ups and downs then eventually near perpetual rising of DCM will be our "thank you" to those that hung in even when times look grim.
Hang tight, the next 3-6 months development wise are going to be worth every moment of uncertainty and doubt this community may have. Thank you everyone, Digital Commerce has just begun.
That's exciting to hear! I can't wait to see what the future holds. And for anyone that's selling right now because the price is below the IPO....think about this. You're down anyway.....and this coin IS NOT going to zero, so why not hold and see what happens? Patience is tough in the crypto world, but when you have a good dev team with a BTC budget to work with.....is there really anything better for a young coin? Go look at your options. There really aren't any that are EQUAL/LOWER risk then DCM. |

it's all part of the game. You gotta be able to coop with the fact that some of you're money ends up in the pockets of scammers. Just frustrating when you know you will have to work a few weeks to sponsor these bastards.
Hope for better luck next coin. Although I'm keeping my dcm. With a budget of 100btc this coin has more potential than any other coin out there
That's one of the many positive things this coin has going for it, and a big reason why I think things will turn around. I just wish Bob would leave this coin be and go bother another one. What's done is done. Move on, let us rebuild. |
