201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 22, 2020, 05:55:41 AM
Considering it as the biggest exchange in the market it is interesting how they are going to deal these situations, these resembles the Liberty reserve situation when Costa Rica denied their license and then the shit storm started and ended up getting confiscated. CZ been the loud mouth he is i am waiting to see his response.

CZ just put out a statement:

Quote
“There is a mix of truth, FUD & misconception. http://Binance.com is not headquartered or operated in Malta. This is old news & has always been the case, hence there is quite a bit of FUD turning this into a breaking story. The community’s comments show that understanding.”

That's kind of shady. The entire ecosystem has been repeating that Binance is based in Malta for the last couple years. They never thought to correct that apparent misinformation?

Examples:
Malta Today: Why world leader crypto exchange Binance moved to Malta
Bloomberg: World's Biggest Cryptocurrency Exchange Is Heading to Malta
Fortune Magazine: Cryptocurrency Exchange Binance Moves to Malta, Where the Prime Minister Is Welcoming It With Open Arms

I was wondering why Binance wasn't responding to AMLD5 requirements. There's the answer -- they aren't operating from the EU at all.
Wow, i am surprised as well, all along i thought Binance had acquired some form of regulatory documents from Malta hence making it a bit safer to trade on its exchange platform other than the others. I think CZ has to really clear this out with his entire Binance Community because this is not good and could bring up a whole lot of speculations against the entire Binance Ecosystem.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: February 22, 2020, 05:10:29 AM
It would have been a great and helpful idea but looking at the nature and design of bitcoin i don't think this is possible. How would the transaction even be sent to the network for miners to work on? There are so many questions that would come off with regard to this use case and i don't think most of them can be answered.

If your intention is to make transaction faster then people should learn how to save wallet address the very first time they use them in transactions so that in subsequent cases he/she would not have to copy the address all over again. i have heard cases where a copied address can be changed by hackers and if care is not taken you will end up sending the money to the wrong person.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 20, 2020, 10:14:01 PM
No, i don't think Binance would ever beat Ethereum in terms of price and marketcap. With the launch of Proof of Stake on Ethereum blockchain it is going to make people hold ETH much more hence bringing in more increase in price. If you are considering to invest in any of them then i would suggest you go all in on ETH, not much news surrounding BNB to cause any rise in price.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the speed of the blockchains on: February 19, 2020, 10:29:32 PM
Wow, this is great! No wonder so many crypto traders are into the trading of FTM. This is great achievement and i wish the Lightning Network once completed and optimized would be able to conduct trasactions at a higher speed to increase the mass adoption of bitcoin.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO legalities in 2020? on: February 19, 2020, 10:19:12 PM
ICOs are really dead these days and many investors don't look in its direction unless is an IEO. Well, i think if a project wants to conduct an ICO  in the US then they would definitely need to comply with the SEC regulations and this rule would definitely apply to both citizens and residents. This is the more reason why no crypto projects want to allow US citizens to participate because by complying to the rules of the SEC if the project turns out to be scam the team members can be penalized.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: February 19, 2020, 05:39:52 PM
Isn't it dangerous if the transaction signal queue can trigger the gas to overflow and become a fire? unless previously ordered with the application system in advance. if they don't use stable coins, many will be confused by the ever changing rates. On the other hand, it might be effective if applied at electric vehicle stations.
Though it's a good and would probably help make transactions swifter have we ever considered the number of people we would be laying off work if we are to implement this. Sometimes i think we really need to take a break with all the technological innovations because it's laying so many people off manual work. I think technology is one of the few things that is not being regulated in this world. See all the huge and massive weapons that are being created everyday.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another STO failed! STO won't work anymore. on: February 18, 2020, 03:17:42 PM
Frankly speaking i don't encourage anybody to invest into any Security Token Offering because of some few reasons. Firstly, is because of the rules and regulations that they might need to comply in order to operate. By registering its company and adhering to state laws and that of the SECs. If such a project fails you maybe lucky with the help of the Security and Exchange Commission your funds can be returned but might have lost its value as it's a cryptocurrency.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How interested are you to re-invest BTC? Need Your Input! on: February 17, 2020, 09:38:53 PM
i think that would be cool if only the Return on Investment is good enough or at least better than existing ones. Currently, Midas and Stakecube offer such investment plans and i prefer Midas to that of Stake cube because Midas offers 15% weekly. You can imagine the profit you would have made within this short bull run that occurred a week ago.
Adding this feature to your exchange will surely get you more investors and traders.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE CEO goes on CNN , attacks Bitcoin on: February 17, 2020, 09:16:55 PM
The hatred against bitcoin will never fade away because most of these CEOs want the crypto industry to adopt the use of their altcoin which is not going to happen once bitcoin is still around. That's why they want to bad label it so that crypto starters would find it unsuitable to use hence the need for us as bitcoin maximalist to be on our feet and stand against this. We can do this through educating people about bitcoin and it's use.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Integrating cryptocurrency in business on: February 17, 2020, 09:43:12 AM
This would be a true revolution and would help improve the the services that companies offer to their customers. Payments will be faster and very swift without any control from any centralized institutions. On the far side, it would help reduce the spread of air-borne diseases like Tuberculosis and currently Coronavirus.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Enjoyed this Unpredictable Season Bull / Bear on: February 16, 2020, 11:54:13 PM
Some times we cant Even judg weather this is Bullish market or Bearish. I thinks here will a lot of people who will be also confused like me. Where we are looking for a Bitcoin uptrend session ongoing, at the other side here is also many altcoins showing a solid bounce back.

But in my opinion this is a time for experience traders to make profit by switching coins and booked profit. Here are also many unexperienced trader or those who got panic by seeing other coin booming and their coin in not showing good move or getting volume.

Here is only way for make money which is keep patience and wait for your turn, Don't be greedy. But one thing will be matter, Are you holding a Strong coins.
I did lol. I have recently been trading on some leverages on Bitmex and the results in this swift bull run that occured about 5 days ago made me some cool profits i have not seen i a long time.
Some altcoins of mine also rose but i did not sell them all as i still have the belief in the team that they would develop the project to greater heights hence it will be worth the wait in future. Let's see!
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 16, 2020, 11:45:06 PM
The rise in the price of Ethereum i think is related to the incoming launch of its Proof-of-Stake platform in July. This new update requires miners to hold quite a sum of ETH in order to operate as validators on the blockchain network. Doing on the math on this also, it's very profitable in the long run hence many miners are trying to get on board and this is the what is causing the rise in the price of Ethereum.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: February 16, 2020, 10:30:53 PM
the reason for your question is because the centralization exchange (cex) first appeared before the Decentralization Exchange (dex), if if first the DEX appeared first I am sure many people would prefer DEX over CEX now,
if DEX is already many and famous then I'm sure many people will switch to DEX later.

It's all a matter of time you know when Decentralized Exchanges take over Centralized Exchanges. The reasons are pretty simple you know, the fees that are being charged by most CEX are way too high. Also, you have to submit proof of identity and all of that but with DEX you don't do any of these yet you get to make your transactions smooth and swift.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your assets safe as the Bull run draws nearer on: February 16, 2020, 10:26:38 PM
You are right mate and actually it does not have to be necessarily because of the bull run that you are going to take efforts in keeping your cryptocurrencies safe. This should be a habit and the best of wallets to use is the hardware wallets but if you don't have funds to purchase them then you can go for either Trust Wallet or IM Token wallet. These mobile wallets are equally good and safe to use.

217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will any new project will do payment with ETH ? on: January 30, 2020, 03:39:05 AM
some time lately, I have seen several projects making payments using ETH. I did not say that new projects will die but they might use this alternative, so my conclusion is whether this will be a new era in 2020 where all projects will make payments using ETH or other coins that are already on the market, or is it just a coincidence that they use this method, to avoid a very drastic decline in value when listing on the market?
the initial appearance of IEO was also ignored but it boomed in mid-2019.
share your opinion, any advice will be apreciate  Smiley

The forum do not have any specific rule regarding the mode of payment by bounty or project managers to bounty hunters. Personally, I wished every project managers paid hunters with either Ethereum or Bitcoin since hunters kinda provide them with their services in promoting their projects.  project managers gain whiles bounty hunters suffer..
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs normalizing Cryptocurrency on: January 30, 2020, 02:54:56 AM
Personally, I don't really believe that Bitcoin ATMs are normalizing the use of cryptocurrency. The only way normalization of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be specific can happen when the entire world gain the exact understanding of what Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are and their relevance in the financial ecosystem. Without understanding and knowledge, mass adoption of the use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can never happen. The entire world is confused of what cryptocurrencies are.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: January 30, 2020, 02:28:41 AM
If we were to go to a 100% bitcoin currency system. The banks and governments would loose control of whole financial system. The present governments would loose control.

Therefore a new system would be needed to run each country. What do you think would be the new body of control?
How could this work?
What type of system would be put in place on this.?
I don't think the people can control themselves as too many minds and ideas of where things can go in a direction. Therefore you still need a council or kingdom of control.

your thoughts.

First and foremost, blockchain technology will be the new system that will be running the financial ecosystem. And moreover, the decentralized nature of blockchain technology do not really need a body or institution to be in charge of how transactions are made. Everyone will be in charge of the financial activities in the financial ecosystem if bitcoin and blockchain technology take over the financial space.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Silence on: January 30, 2020, 02:18:39 AM
trading is for those who have much time
that is not true, trading can be adjusted to your time, if you are a busy person and don't have much time you can choose long term trading, You can trade once a week or even once a month, even the day traders can still trade even if they don't have much time, I am sure, there are no traders who trade every second unless they use trading bots.

I think  Debonaire217 was refering to daily trading as in people who trading when there is a small change in the market value of Bitcoin. And moreover, long term trading is usually referred to as long term investment rather than trading. For daily trading, you need huge amount of time in order to make some significant amount of profit.
