201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto long-term? on: July 10, 2018, 01:36:47 PM
Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?
I don't think we can ever get a several million percent profit like it happened with the people who held bitcoin since 2014.
Despite the fact that crypto market is a relatively young stuff, we could already have a chance to see the potential of blockchain, so the rapid rise of crypto value several times is unlikely in the nearest future.
202  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: July 10, 2018, 01:34:00 PM
Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper
Definitely, ICO without a ready whitepaper is 110% scam as this means that the project team has nothing to promise to their investors.
Moreover, some projects don't even have a website and a roadmap - and these are scams too.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Much Scam Bounty on: July 09, 2018, 03:42:18 PM
We don't know what is the real project and scam project, because as of now 90% of all ICO are scam. The one thing i really sure is before you trust on the project, you may know personally the team or meet up them to identify if the identity are real or not and they explain to you the real purpose of the project.
I don't know where you got this number from (90%) but the projects I participated in were not scams.
Not a single one!
The problem is that people are too lazy to thoroughly study the project they enter into (read WP, calculate profit, figure out the dates of distributing the reward, etc.).
Because of that Telegram chats are full of stupid questions that one might answer just by doing a simple 15-minute research.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: July 09, 2018, 03:34:33 PM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
I think one day Ethereum will be valued even more than BTC.
Look around - all ICOs are organized on the ETH platform and all rewards are also distributed on the ETH blockchain.
Ethereum is so fact, cheap and convenient that I can't imagine any other coin that could replace it.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: July 09, 2018, 03:30:42 PM
Not know why but i did sell all my alts today. And bought Tron TRX for them all. Now i hold a nice amount of TRX  Grin

MC is down to 280b today and the market not going anywhere soon. So i decided to buy the hype around TRX and move all my $ to this coin. Know this can be risky but if the price go up just a few cents i will make a nice profit.

As far as I can see from the graphs Tron cost 0.00000612 BTC on March 29.
On May 02 it was 0.00001025 BTC (it went up almost twice).
Hope you managed to get your profit, bro, because now it's even lower than when you bought it (0.00000550 BTC).
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: July 09, 2018, 03:24:24 PM
I am familiar with people who also participate in generosity companies. Some of them do not rush to sell received Tokines, others on the contrary, immediately after the issue of tokens the exchange is sold. My friend advised me to send them to EtherDelta. When receiving tokens, place orders for the sale of x2 - x10 (depending on the project) and just wait until they are purchased.
What do you do with the received tokens?
I prefer selling 50% and keeping 50% in my wallet, especially in the current downtrend when you never know if the token will make x2-3-5 or loose its value.
Usually I set a goal of earning this of that amount of money and I never get disappointed if I reached my goal but the price of the coin price went up.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: July 04, 2018, 05:40:44 PM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
Most of these projects started in 2017 and still don't a ready product.
This means that the project team is not very much eager to put their efforts in it anymore, so yes, regrettably, most of them will die by the end of 2018 with the tokens being listed off the exchanges.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: July 04, 2018, 05:32:52 PM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?
I don't see any ways of punishing scam projects because it is impossible to get access to their wallets and the identity of the team.
A specialized legal body (preferrably an international one) could be created in order to control ICOs - it could impose certain rules like compulsory registration of the project in a unified register and revealing personal details of the project team.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: July 03, 2018, 05:32:28 PM
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
The number of tokens you get depends on the number of participants. The longer is bounty campaign, the fewer stakes you get because other participants also get stakes.
It seems that bounty lasted for over 3 months when you wrote this post. That's too much - bounty should not go for more than 8-10 weeks.
In this case it appears like the project experiences difficulties and will not be successful. So I would recommend you to quit and focus on another bounty.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: July 03, 2018, 05:08:52 PM
Hello friends,
I am going to participate in bounty signature campaign. Can you guys suggest me some strategy. Like which bounty should I choose, how can I speculate what bounty is good for earnings etc.
thank you.
The first thing you should do is get to know the price of the token you will be paid with and try to calculate the number of tokens and your possible profit.
Also try to figure out when these tokens will be distributed and listed (because some projects lock their coins for more than half the year and you won't be able to sell them).
Try to choose projects that deal with the improvement of blockchain (scalability, speed of transactions, etc.) because these have a greater chance to have more valuable coins.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: July 03, 2018, 05:03:43 PM
Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I could never understand why projects make bounty hunters to pass KYC.
In my opinion, it is the most unnecessary practice - participants of the campaign are just promoting the project.
It's the same as if you outsourced advertising to a third party company and asked its employees to provide their identification documents.
Doesn't that sound ridiculous?
212  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: July 02, 2018, 12:53:34 PM
There are many ways people earning in altcoin in regular basis. What is your methods for earning in altcoin?

Trading?
Airdrop?
Bounty?
Others?
I prefer bounty because I'm not a very diligent and patient trader.
Of course it takes some time (usually several months - it's not "everyday" as you said) to get your bounty rewards..
But I'm okay with that because I don't rely on crypto only and continue doing my regular job - bounties are a kind of hobby.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: July 02, 2018, 12:50:09 PM
Can i trust on etherium project
I want to hold it for long term 5-10 years
Can i use hardware wallet (ledger or trezor)?

5-10 years is a very long term and you can never know what would happen then.
Cryptocurrencies can be banned in the major countries and this would definitely affect the price.
Wouldn't it be better to gradually invest your Ethereum in a couple of prospective projects and monitor how they develop their product?

214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do you think Altcoin can last for next 5 years? on: July 02, 2018, 12:37:49 PM
i want your opinion about this, because i have lot of coins am holding
It depends on the project these coins relate to.
If they have a ready product in at least a year (you could look their schedule up in the roadmap), their tokens have all the chances to survive.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 30, 2018, 07:54:50 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?
Time is the most precious resource you could ever have.
When you do investment you also "waste" your time (remove quotes is all your investments were successful and you didn't have to ask several thousand times when the tokens will be distributed, released or unlocked or etc.).
Bounties also require time and certain analysis of the project to get into.
So yes, bounty hunters are the same (underestimated) investors!
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIAT rewards for bounty hunters. on: June 30, 2018, 07:35:01 PM

Hello all members!
I am a bounty hunter, as well as many of you  Smiley Wink
And I heard that bounty hunters dump the coin price at the ico end.
So I was wondering, if the team doesn't want its coins to be sold on exchange date and thus be dumped, why they reward bounty hunters with their token, not FIAT.
Because they anyway accept fiat for selling the tokens, so the coin won't be dumped by bounty hunters, and bounty hunters are satisfied too.
Because those who need money, they have it, those who want tokens, can buy it at exchange etc.
I've seen once that bounty rewards were paid in ETH.
They wanted to be honest with the people who steadily advertised their project for 4 weeks.
But that was because the project managers already knew that their token would lose 40% of its price due to the market drop which happened a month ago.
Now I just can't imagine who would pay extra money in this sharp decline.

218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: June 27, 2018, 03:23:47 PM
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?
The answer is obvious - they haven't reached their goals and need more money to continue the development of the project.
Investors are afraid of entering ICOs even despite the hype and active marketing so a usual 1.5 month bounty campaign is not enough anymore.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: June 27, 2018, 03:19:55 PM
As you know, the cryptocurrency market can see huge changes in a matter of few minutes, making it very unpredictable. However, there are some fundamental factors which can influence the prices of any cryptocurrency. Prediction of Cryptocurrency future price are base on two factors 1) Historical price trends
(2) Historical volume trends. So,  there can not be a single and concrete prediction of any Cryptocurrency because of the very nature of cryptocurrency.

What is your view about Cryptocurrency price?
Nowadays making predictions is almost impossible, since there are too many bad news related to crypto world.
The whole industry can rapidly go down just because of the activities of a single governmental body in the USA.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unpaid bounty on: June 26, 2018, 07:02:05 PM
When you have followed some bounty then at the end of the bounty they promise to distribute their tokens based on the time they have specified. But in fact, after waiting some time token not sent. What's worse, it turns out bounty that we have followed is a scam.
How do you deal with this while your time has gone to work on bounty to promote their projects.
The only way to secure yourself from such nearly-scam bounties is make a detailed analysis of the campaign before entering it.

You should ask the following questions:
- what are the unique features of the product offered by the project?
- will the product be demanded by end users?
- does the project team have any positive background in working with cryptocurrencies?
- what is the price of the token?
- when will the tokens be paid after the end of the bounty?
- are there any special efforts I should make to get my reward (register somewhere or separately request the tokens withdrawal)?

Generally the answers could be found in telegram group or on website of the project.

Good luck.
