201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don’t like the term “crypto” on: April 24, 2024, 05:03:31 PM
To be blunt, nobody likes the term crypto but can we do something about it? No, we cannot do a thing about it and I have started using terms like Bitcoin and altcoins or sometimes crypto/Bitcoin. I guess now it inevitable as everyone addresses it as crypto and some of my friends use crypto as the first time even when they are referring to Bitcoin. There are certain other terms like NFT which I don't like for strange reason but we gotta live with it as it doesn't matter what we think Lol.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: April 23, 2024, 08:04:31 PM
After end of bull run, Solana had started lossing its price and it waas worth $12 in November, 2022. And till August, 2023 solana was below $20. Many were talking about this is end of solana, it'll never pump and then something interesting happened to it and solana pumped 3/4 times from its position. And still its more than $185+ .many people still thinks solana would pump more. So they keep buying solana with such believe.
What do you think? Is Solana still Worth buying cause price is tooo much pump already.

There was a great opportunity when it was under $130 and then it bounced back only to fall below $140 but lot of users who keeps saying they are waiting to buy in dip didn't buy while investors with strategy end up buying and it has already given then more than 10% return in less than a week's time. I still feel this would not be a bad time to invest into Solana as it's yet to breach it's previous ATH and looking at the number of projects launched in SOL it's a must add to portfolio.
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Time to Invest and Hodl - Bitcoin, Silver, Gold, etc. on: April 23, 2024, 07:29:53 PM
The reason is that the fiat system is about to crash. When it does, average people will need something else to use to trade among themselves, fairly.

For me, and my own opinion, the fiat currency will never crash and don’t think crypto currency will replace fiat. Many people have said this, many times without number, and we still see more but the fact is that it will no happen. The only think you can say is that we people who are willing to invest can do that now, because Bitcoin will increase in value over time and the time is almost here, the time that we will see people hunting for bitcoin investment even those who talk bad at it before is almost here already.

So, I still don’t believe that the fiat is about to crash, because this is the currency that people have been using for over decade now, and now suddenly because we have digital currency we think it will go? NO.

There seems to be some confusion in comprehending the details as I didn't find any mention about fiat being replaced by cryptocurrency as that's never gonna happen since bitcoin and crypto has been created as an alternate and purely for P2P transfers. The thing about investing in gold and silver is not new which people have been doing for ages now.

I second your though that fiat will not go as there are lot of rumors and misguidance to create panic which is incorrect.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a best bounty campaign to join ? on: April 23, 2024, 07:08:00 PM
Looking at your topic I was thinking you are going to tell or give information on how to get  a legit bounty campaign because your topic is a question but instead reverse is the case. Well I wish I have names and channels you can join but the truth is no one is sure about any bounty, most of them look so cool and legit but at the end or when you have gone far, you will find out that it's not legit and at that point in time it will be a total wast of time and energy but you can still try sha.

People should give up on bounty campaigns as there are lot of them but very few of them makes to bigger exchange and the golden era of bounty was 2017 and now it's just waste of time and energy if we indulge in bounty campaign. Whenever I join bounty apart from the white paper I also check for the reputed bounty managers but still we don't get what we expect I have tried a lot of bounty campaigns in the past but those were waste of my time except very few and it's not worth it.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price action strategies on TRADING on: April 23, 2024, 06:48:32 PM
The charts show that in every pump, there is a dump next. Therefore, don't buy any coins during the hype but rather wait to calm down. Buy low, not buy high. Chart analysis is very important in trading and this is what I told in my thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5492766.0, this is a stressful job that some people can dear to do all the time.

Trading is tricky and we need to analyze the market trend before making the next move as this is not just hoping for luck but it is an application of our analysis. The more we spend on the market, the better but yes, if we are doing this always, that is certainly not healthy anymore. In fact, it is not just the chart we looked at but so many factors to check.

That's the whole point as people who don't understand how the market works just fall in the trap like sheep because they end up buying when the price has peaked and after every pump there would be a dump and not necessarily a huge dump but even a minor dip may dent your portfolio. We just need to look at the price chart and analyze how it has reacted in the past by looking at historic data but we fail doing that and as a result when the actual dump happens and when it's time to buy we have out funds struck at higher price.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countdown to 840,000 on: April 23, 2024, 06:33:52 PM
I partially agree with you as there are chances of dump but not for longer period of time but again there are just chances and not sure if it will happen because the market has become so unpredictable that even veterans are unable to speculate anything. Instead of doing something foolish and regretting later I would rather wait and go with the market trend because this ain't the right time to experiment.
207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans Profits from War and Terrorism on: April 22, 2024, 06:59:45 PM
It's not term as Americans but rather the dirty American regime and CIA gets profited by wars as they supply weapon to both the warring parties, it directly supplies weapon to its allies and so to the rival side as well but through third party. Guns and weapons are the reason why the wars and suffering are extending and they cannot continue without war. Iraq-Iran war was prime example.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much interest do you earn from your USDT? on: April 22, 2024, 06:33:40 PM
I have not staked any USDT just by looking at the APY it's too low that you don't want to stake funds for such a small amount of interest which cannot even best inflation. Instead, I am doing DCA with Bitcoin which has given me a very decent return, is there any particular reason why people should stake USDT for the single digit interest? I didn't find one valid reason to do so.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only1 has raised $5 million to build an OnlyFans clone on Solana on: April 22, 2024, 06:04:15 PM
Lol what's the purpose of this? I am wondering why a revolution like blockchain has been used for such cases and also I am not surprised atthe fact they have raised $5 millions as there are buyers and but what would n the long term plan on this? On a serious note I don't think they may find a long term success here.
210  Local / India / Re: Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty in Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Scam on: April 22, 2024, 05:46:01 PM
Man, Indians need to stop trusting these celebrities as we are easily fooled and jumps into any investment scheme if it's endorsement is done by a well known personality. I think it's high time we should understand making money is not easy or effortless like invest and forget or MLM. Not only this but there are hundreds of such ponzi schemes where people have lost than more than they could afford.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Illusion of Trading Success on: April 22, 2024, 05:24:55 PM
That's the sad reality as we should get out of something called signals and premium channels as they are just manipulating is by posting about the few wins and hiding many loses, there are people editing it to make it look like they have had profit. First of all anyone who is accurate at trading will not be wasting time creating and managing such channels as it's one of the commonly used modern day scam and there is no shortcut for success in trading as we have to learn the basics. We need to stay away from such influencers and start out own research and learn basic components like BB, RSI, MACD and Fibonacci.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 22, 2024, 05:03:55 PM
There are other ways but I am not sure how it works in western nations but in India there is something called Sovereign gold bonds I invest in that as you don't pay as making charges and it's safer since it's not a physical gold and also you may sell it when you want by transferring it into stocks and it's much cheaper than what you would end up paying the charges when you sell gold or other gold scheme. Check for government related schemes if it's there then good as it's a win-win situation.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin is no longer digital cash? on: April 22, 2024, 04:41:36 PM
First of all you have a massive misunderstanding and it seems bit messed up when I see people comparing financial institutions with Bitcoin as they are two different and opposite entities. Meme coins are joke and cannot be considered for peer to peer as you never know when it will become zero, though some may use it for small transactions. Bitcoin has not lost an inch except the fact that transactions fee are pain in wrong place.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: It's better to invest now than to regret it in a hospital bed. on: April 21, 2024, 12:00:35 PM
Really useful stuff but there are two aspects to look into it as there are one first set of people who earn enough to invest but they don't do it because of unnecessary expenses or pursuing luxuries which is not required at all they can set up DCA as that's the best thing or SIP if going for mutual funds. Second set of people who barely earns to meet their needs for the day they cannot be investing by cutting down on food, if they do they will face bigger problem which is health related issues.
215  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Eating healthy on: April 21, 2024, 11:26:16 AM
There are lot of things to discuss as this is a vast topic and it depends on region as I have seen people from Europe being extremely conscious when it comes to their food while Americans they eat all the junks foods but you would be surprised to see the foods in India and Pakistan and how people consume food as our body gets adapted to how and what we eat. It might look anything and everything for someone else but for the other person it's their BAU food.
216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Resurrection Of ISIS on: April 21, 2024, 10:28:18 AM
These animals are just ruining the name of religion and they need to be eliminated permanently as they created so much of chaos and pain, brought suffering and made life miserable for millions. I think they are controlled by some secret agencies and used as a distraction.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is User Base the Biggest Factor in CEXs Growth? on: April 21, 2024, 10:25:52 AM
For me it's pretty simple a I would be looking at liquidity, number or trading pair and the UI because there are DEX which is not so user-friendly and some don't have liquidity as that's the main reason people prefer CEX as they have very interactive UI and high liquidity. Data shouldn't be compromised but unfortunately we cannot avoid Kyc while dealing with CEX
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems with a foreign partner on: April 21, 2024, 09:57:36 AM
Common sense is not so common nowadays and what are you even trying to ask and in what regards? Just by asking how to resolve problems without explaining anything about the problem is not gonna help anyone. Explain the nature of problem as it would help us to suggest because different problems requires different solutions.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with AI on: April 21, 2024, 09:37:33 AM
Nowadays AI has become fancy and anything associated with AI is either turns out to be a game change or looked at with suspiciousness due to amount of false strategy or incompetent strategies being shared as a working business model. I would suggest you to keep updating this thread with the progress you have made so far using this as it will help us to conclude on our decision based on the outcome. The best way to promote some trading signal or strategy or bot is sharing it with the PnL and how it has worked.
220  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange is coming back to India. on: April 20, 2024, 08:05:50 PM
I never thought that they would resort to such a level, but I guess they needed the money. What about the common P2P scams involving the Binance Exchange in India? Will those who are experiencing frozen bank accounts receive any help? I doubt that anything will be done about it, and the government is more concerned with people like us. I am convinced that the situation will change in the future. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to reply. But before that, let's not forget that we are moving towards centralization, which goes against the very concept of Bitcoin.

That's what I fear about because Bitcoin was created for anonymity and decentralisation but gradually if the top exchanges starts adhering or bowing down in front of government's demands which also requires them to share the user database with them with transactions then there is no use of being associated with the exchange and Binance being such big exchange cannot risk losing customers and putting their database at risk hence I guess there would be some sort of changes between the initial demand of government and what Binance is trying to work out.
