201  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: November 29, 2014, 10:45:16 AM
USD is getting stronger, gas prices going down in USA - meaning foreign currencies are declining in value - is this good for BTC?
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 29, 2014, 10:27:45 AM
The BTC/LTC ratio looks decent and maybe could go higher, but overall LTC is still in longterm downward trend, topping out just above $4..... check out a LTC chart
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 29, 2014, 10:19:17 AM
whats up with huobi ?

Not looking good. It's been flatlined for hours

Whoever is running this doesnt care about what we trade here. They want some whales to unload some cold storage coin. they want blood.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion: Why Ripple/XRP Doubled In Value in Less Than A Week on: November 29, 2014, 10:07:00 AM
The question is, why and who double the value of ripples as we see it now in coinmarketcap?

Who and why? I believe its not people like us but Ripple management who is doing this, its obvious, for the last week it has gone up slowly and steadily, clear indication of possible manipulation of price , not because of trading, and now today is not going up or down in price , its fixed! so can someone explain to me this other to what I have just said?

does it really matter where the coins come from? could be the same whales over and over again with the same amount of coins just swingtrading till XRP dies
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero officially dead? on: November 29, 2014, 10:01:27 AM
It's just a bear market. Not the death of monero. A great opportunity to buy lots of cheap coins.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price was under so much downward pressure on: November 29, 2014, 09:52:26 AM
Here's my explanation of why: it's actually good news, sort of.  This is definitely oversimplifying matters, but I think it's fairly accurate.

The bitcoin price has so much downward pressure because there's been a ton of bitcoin adoption by businesses and people are actually buying.  The bad news is that, obviously, most of the buyers aren't immediately buying more bitcoins to match their purchase, and there isn't enough speculation demand these days to bring the price up after factoring in the businesses immediately cashing out bitcoin purchases.

So, yeah, short term it sucks, because the value of bitcoin has dropped by like half in the last several months.  But I'm still optimistic long term because of merchant adoption.  I'm just going to leave this here.

If you want to help prevent further price drops, you have the power to do this as a buyer: immediately repurchase bitcoins to replace any purchase you make.  And if you're a miner, try not to sell your bitcoins these days.  Obviously, if you have to sell to pay rent or whatever, go for it, but if the price keeps dropping, it may not be economical for a lot of people to mine.

Good point. Also the constant sell pressure of businesses accepting Bitcoin and then selling right away is part of the problem.

207  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you going to buy on black friday? on: November 28, 2014, 11:08:34 PM
I have no buy needs at the moment, I just want to be able to buy my kids food.. until they are old enough to buy me food. be it dollars or bitcoins, I want my family to endure..
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ on: November 28, 2014, 10:52:39 PM
wow.. the price is shooting up, but I think this won't be a pump that could reach ATH. we will need a lot of fresh money for this. This can pump bitcoin maybe 20 or 30% max. Even very good news (paypal) couldn't pump bitcoin for more than 10-15%.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: November 28, 2014, 01:48:46 PM
Stellar is rising... you all should pick a floor and buy like you've never bought before.. 'cause if you believe (and I definitely do) you know the next bubble is going to be Big..
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is happening with NXT? Fucking Nothing!!! on: November 28, 2014, 01:39:15 PM
Nxt freemarket will do well. The next big online marketplace.

yes, but this won't happen overnight. Whales need to attract a lot of ordinary people so that they can sell them their coins. And this will take a lot of time and there must be some kind of "hype"
211  Other / Archival / Re: Do you know legit websites to buy cigarettes online? on: November 28, 2014, 01:29:27 PM
Don't know any websites for cigarettes but instead of looking online why not simply go to a near by store.

The number of BTC you need to buy cigarettes changes based on the market price, it's not fixed, so maybe it's much cheaper than buying from a near by store
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am very disturbed when prices are always up and down on: November 27, 2014, 10:47:10 AM
well.. btc moving really slowly now cos what happens today and probably tomorrow will decide whether we go below 350 or not. Personally I think we are going sub 300..
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price - Up or Down on: November 27, 2014, 10:41:08 AM
Honestly this bitcoin market is so unpredictable that everything is possible. I bought like crazy at 400 because I thought it was the bottom, everyone said it was... well here we are now
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW and Darksend | Instant TX on: November 27, 2014, 10:37:01 AM
I figure DRK has the best risk/reward at this moment. If DRK/BTC goes down, unless you are a whale you can get out and not lose much. But it could should up 50% in a blink of an eye.

216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Ever heard of Prime Coin ? on: November 25, 2014, 04:33:08 AM
XPM is the first coin that I am aware of that actually solves real life problems with its mining algorithm
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 25, 2014, 04:25:40 AM
damn support at 380 nut to crack yet... why its so stubborn...

damn resistance at 390 nut to crack yet... why its so stubborn...

 Grin

boing boing boing

400 becoming the new bottom will be tough when everyone that bought at 380 wants to cash in before they think it drops back down to 380
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP going up -- why? on: November 25, 2014, 04:11:45 AM
capital large from investor
only it shit coin centralized , do not touch this !

 Lips sealed

Ripple can be thought as enterprise version of bitcoin, but even if you think that the price is fake - well, how many altcoins don't have "fake" price and people still profit from investing in them?
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is peercoin(PPC) so undervalued? on: November 25, 2014, 04:09:10 AM
Because it has no real adoption. Soon real panic will start to set in. you are going to see massive amounts of peercoin days destroyed as the old whales want to take whatever cash is left to take.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rise incoming November of 2014 on: November 23, 2014, 03:09:47 PM
November is coming to an end

Everyone is expecting BTC to moon this november because it did last year, therefore it won't. it will at least have a serious pump to fool everyone at some point...
