Unlike other SMS transactions, StealthText is fully scalable, cross-platform, and decentralized, as anyone can build and host their own pipeline.

StealthText is:
1) Anonymous
2) Secure
3) Decentralized
4) SMS

We really look forward to seeing it in action within our community, very soon!

Please post here or otherwise contact us with any questions or feedback!

We have paid 30,000 XST from the premine to our android developer, who has finished prototyping his project.

PoS interest: 20% annually

Will this be changed at some point? Seems pretty high, especially compared to other PoS coins.

20% PoS leads to a 4-5% inflation rate. In other words, minters earn 20% but the money supply only increases at the rate of 5%. Hondo calls this phenomenon "fractional staking":

Quote from: Hondo
Typically only about 25% of the money supply for a given Proof-of-Stake (PoS) coin is subject to continuous staking. This "fractional staking" leads to (1) gains for those who stake (minters) and (2) losses for those who don't (non-minters). Fractional staking therefore results in wealth transfer from non-minters to minters because inflation of the money supply is lower than it would be if the entirety of the money supply were continuosly staked.

To understand how wealth is transferred, it is helpful to quantify wealth as an individual's ownership of the total money supply of a given coin. For example, if an individual holds 1000 coins of a money supply of 100,000, then the individual's wealth is quantified as 1%.

The following example uses a 20% APY as an example because this value typically leads to a reasonable inflation rate of about 5% per year, given that all coins are subject to approximately the same fractional staking of 25%.

Note the following values:
  • Total money supply after 1 year: 105% (5% inflation)
  • Relative number of coins after one year for a minter: 120% (20% APY)
  • Relative number of coins after one year for a non-minter: 100%

Using these values, the relative wealth of a minter after one year is 114% (120% / 105%). In other words, a minter who stakes continuously grows wealth at the rate of 14% per year. Thus, a minter of a coin with a 20% APY doesn't just keep up with inflation, but beats it by 14%!

On the other hand, a non-minter loses wealth over time. After a year, a non-minter's total coins is 100% of what it was at the beginning of the year. Therefore, a non-minter's drops to 95.2% during this time, losing wealth at the rate of 5% per year.

It is also possible to calculate a non-minter's losses in terms of forgone profits, which is 19.7% ([114% - 95.2%] / 95.2%). Thus, a non-minter could have nearly 20% more wealth if they had staked their coins ([114% - 95.2%] / 95.2%). Not coincidentally, these lost profits are approximately equal to the nominal APY.

Can't wait to test out the new wallet.
Might invest some if I like it!

It's not a wallet! It's a sending platform. It will be light on bells and whistles but heavy on utility.

Hei guys how about talking with coinmarketcap to change our logo with the new one ? I mean in cryptoland anything is important , even a logo .
Hondo or any dev should take care of this I think... Grin

Yes. It's been brought up among the devs a few times. We'll assign someone specific to it.

Thanks for the reminder.

You think, but the Dev must have a better strategie, I not mean the give the source code ore the secrets of XST on  this moment. But when they work on a mobile wallet they can maybe make a secret printsccreen to show, ore when he implant some code to make the coin better. The Dev can tell today we do 90% of the test and it works Great etc etc. So not to tell their secrets but little more information of the work status, maybe talk in secret terms. We all here are the buyers and a good product must give 99% trust. Of course the dev can change their strategie no problem but then you must come with better update's. On twitter is the coin almost .... So let's start with a good strategie for this great Coin..

Show use some progress Dev.

It's hard to show progress on cryptographic technology. Our progress this weekend included bringing a security expert onto the team. We have started coding the mobile app and have worked with our new expertise to hammer out the structure of the mobile transaction. Also, our designer is back from vacation, so the roadmap is updated on the website and will be released as an infographic soon.

We are working on cryptographically strong features here, so we put a lot of thought into each step.

You might be. The inability to stake is often the result of a corrupted wallet. Have you tried to export your private keys and then import them into a fresh wallet?
it would be strange if the wallet was corrupted.  it was a nice fresh install - and i'm running several other QTs without issues.

A corrupted wallet means that your wallet.dat may be corrupted. You can fix this by exporting your private keys and re-importing them. Corrupted wallet.dat files happen to users of all coins. You won't lose your coins, but you will need to fix your wallet if it is corrupted.

^ how often is this updated?  its not showing coins that i deposited in my wallet 2 days ago.

not trying to be a pain, just curious.

All of the coins need to be at the same deposit address, not simply the same wallet. The present datestamp of the rich list says that it is current.

is there going to be a new windows wallet?  i continue to have all kinds of problems with it.

i decided to delete the BC because i was having minting problems, and now i'm back to the first problem i have, which is the BC getting stuck while download.  i have to quit and restart the wallet about a dozen times to get the BC to download.

am i really the only one using windows wallet with issues?

It would really help if you were to post the contents of your debug.log file somewhere. You can PM us the link if you do not wish to post it on the thread.

I like how the team tried to confused pumpers/dumpers get rich quick morons everytime. Love it.

No confusion was intended, nor should their be any surprise. We discussed this decision with the community, openly.

It will be tomorow release Stealthsend whitepaper and explanation of stealth technology? Or is there any delay for that news,i`m really waiting for explanation, coz im not understanding this very well.thanks

StealthSend is still on target to be released at the end of September. To protect our IP, we are pushing back the whitepaper to about 5 days before that time.

We are working on wallet enhancements and some mobile sending technology to bridge the gap. We'll hopefully have an announcement about these developments in a few days.

i moved coins into my wallet 4 days ago.

i still have a zero Stake balance and i'm not minting.  anything i'm doing wrong?

Probably not. There is a small artifact of peercoin that causes about a 1 to 1.5 day delay before minting once coins are mature. Peercoin has a 30 day maturity, so it's not noticeable in that coin. StealthCoin has a much quicker maturity, so the delay is noticeable. We have a fix to tighten up the actual staking times to agree better with specifications. The fix will probably go into the next release.

You will still earn full interest with the delay, so it does not impact your earnings.

We've been doing some server migration so port forwarding is not working yet on the explorer server.

The alternate (un-forwarded) URL for the premine address is http://explorer.argakiig.us:2750/a/s8kn

This link has been added to the OP.

Sorry about any confusion. We should have the server issues sorted out in a few hours.

hey guys.this is my old address that my coins were in SJhtGsKGgnJGqYbfZMkv8JKL23eqiDQD1C
seems they got in some how and got my wallet dat.not sure how with Norton sercutrity and everything else I have running.its saying coins are still at that address.my address changed in my stealth wallet and is now empty.worst thing was I just got 5000 stealth for stake challenge.lol.all I can say I hope karma gets them.

If the coins are still at that address, no one stole them.

If you have a backup wallet you are good.

Making a backup is one of the instructions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=681725.msg8046182#msg8046182

In fact, the dev says twice in there to backup your wallet:

"Make a copy of your wallet.dat file and put it somewhere safe."
"When you have synced completely, stop the client, back up your wallet.dat again"

I hope this point isn't lost on other people.

ok looks like I found my coins.im not sure what happen but I saw a file called stealthcoin.dat and vootcoin.dat I changed them to wallet.dat and my coins are there.can anyone explain what might of happened
looks like they got my voot but I still go my stealth

SEND THEM TO ANOTHER ADDRESS THAT YOU CONTROL IMMEDIATELY.

Release Stealth Send wallets September 30?? Dev Why take it so long to release it?

This is not a strict timeframe - we simply want to allow ourselves ample time to perfect and test our code.

More details to come!
