201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Altcoins under $0.1 to Buy in May on: May 07, 2024, 04:15:12 AM
OP next time onwards whenever you are posting a link to an external website then please write a small summary about that article. It makes life easier for people like me who hates reading long articles that have repetition of the same sentence in different ways. About the list, I prefer not to indulge in any of the token or coins that is mentioned on it. I don't think these cryptos can give anyone good returns in investment if investment is made in the month of May.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what things to do when crypto loss is there on: May 07, 2024, 04:01:11 AM
Since you have $100 left in your wallet, you can invest the money in a few small cap tokens and in a few meme coins. When the next bull run hits the market these tokens and coin can easily give you 10x returns. Already most altcoins are trading below the price point they reached earlier this year. The present market is the right time to book some position.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ton/Telegram Chain is next season on: May 07, 2024, 03:10:03 AM
Ton chain is official Solana killer

Why use the word Killer? We have been hearing about Ethereum killer and now Solana killer Grin

All of them are unique blockchain with their unique identity. They cannot be killers of each other. TON chain is also good but I felt the transaction fee are a bit high on their network.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull in Altcoins Sector on: May 06, 2024, 11:53:45 PM
Bitcoin ETFs approval makes itself expensive along with rest altcoins. As altcoins follows Bitcoin movement, that's why a massive growth have been seen in altcoins industry. Top altcoins are become so expensive. But others altcoins are Still underrated. Maybe they are waiting for pure bull run in altcoins sector. After that, they might be touch new record again. And top altcoins will be more and more expensive then now.
i think not far from now altcoins will rise up,look at btc price it is in bull season and anytime of the day some of the altcoins will also rise because it always follow the bitcoin trend, some top altcoins are now slowly rising example is the bnb and ethereum,so we can expect the altcoin season maybe this third to fourth quarter of the year.

The current increase in the price of Bitcoin is temporary as it is again due to ETF. The bull run that everyone has been waiting past halving has not yet started. When it starts we will be again seeing an overall increase in the price of altcoins as they follow the path of Bitcoin. As of now whatever rise we are noticing is temporary and another price correction is on the way.
205  Local / India / Re: Good News Nirmal Sitharaman is not contesting Lok Sabha poll on: May 06, 2024, 11:48:44 PM
Even if Nirmala is not standing in the elections it won't matter much because the stance on crypto will most probably remain the same.
You know, it's not that FM announced 1% TDS on crypto transactions and the next day they started collecting the TDS.
Every decision the FM takes, goes around a lot of consideration and discussion and only after a thourough review the announcements are made.
So if the government has decided to levy 30% capital tax and 1% TDS on crypto transactions then it is well accepted by all the participants.
Changing of FM won't create drastic changes in the economy or any financial decisions made earlier.

But we can expect some improvement with tax. When the lawa was passed at that time they didn't consider a lot of things. For example future trading doesn't incurr TDS as of now. I am expecting more clarity and a regulation boundary in crypto within our country.
206  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 06, 2024, 03:47:41 AM
Rohit always had a weak link against pacers with the new ball, but his hitting ability is what covered it for long. We should not forget he got a 100 in this year for MI as well against MI.

That is the only century that he has got in IPL 2024. Out of 11 innings he managed to get 326 runs after including that century. His batting abilities in the present time are no matches to what he used to do in his younger days. As a 37 year old this will be his last try to get a World Cup trophy. If this time he is unsuccessful then his PR team won't be able to help him gain sympathy from the country.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Lending might be a way to reduce unnecessary Defi fee on: May 05, 2024, 10:31:34 AM
If you are a trader than crypto loan can be a beneficial for short duration. Other than that they are not profitable as aprt from the collateral a borrower needs to pay high interest on the loan amount. I don't think it is beneficial for anyone who is interested in a crypto loan for personal usage.
209  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange is coming back to India. on: May 05, 2024, 09:52:04 AM

The news of CZ getting arrested no longer is a concern since it has been sorted and Binance has moved on from CZ and distances themselves from him. But the real question remains the same like if Binance agrees on the policy of Indian government and what if gradually they force every exchange to charge the TDS and tax like they do for Indian exchanges?

Agreed tha Binance has distanced itself from CZ and now it is not of any concern. Unless Binance agreed to government policies it couldn't have been allowed to operate in India. Since they have not come up with an announcement like Kucoin did I think there is something brewing between them and the government of India which might be more than about FIU compliance. Apart from TDS and tax it is possible that the government is asking for past data as Income tax returns if not filled from 2022 with all the required information is a criminal offence. If Binance agrees the a lot of community members will be getting IT demand letters.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you really think about the future of solana in the next 2years? on: May 05, 2024, 09:39:32 AM
The Solana ecosystem has recently started evolving and becoming famous among developers. It is looking promising but the network congestion issue is a problem that needs to worked on by the developers. If Solana is able to handle easily it's scalability issues then it will have a bright future if not then it will not become as popular as Ethereum. They may have high TPS but that won't help them if the network is congested.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have performed the best in terms of price growth in 2024 ? on: May 05, 2024, 09:34:03 AM
The first quater of 2024 belonged to Bitcoin. It saw an exponential growth in its price wherein it went above $73K and created a new ATH. All thanks to Bitcoin ETFs which caused a small bull run before the halving event, which was first time as before halving we have always witnessed bear market. All other altcoins followed Bitcoin but were unable to break their previous ATH. They were all in green but the returns were not significant.
212  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange is coming back to India. on: May 05, 2024, 01:47:22 AM
Binance is a huge exchange and has a huge userbase of Indian users. They had to agree with the Indian policies otherwise they would lose a huge chunk from their user base.
Now that they have agreed to the policies we need to see how soon we get the access back to binance app on playstore and the website.
But the matter of concern is that police have arrested CZ which is a real convern, not sure whats gonna happen next.
[/quote]

I am concerned why haven't they not announced about their comeback through their social handles. They should have done that in the same manner as Kucoin did earlier. This news was published in the main stream economic media, which only quote what their sources confirm . Somehow I feel either the deal with the government has not gone through or again the media published a disinformation to create another viral news for the crypto community.
213  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 05, 2024, 01:42:38 AM

In ODI World Cup we had MD Shami but in this one we don't have any other bowler of such caliber. Next Rohit Sharma is in bad shape, he has been for sometime now but his PR team has been great in making him look like everything is okay with him. Again he failed to give a good start to MI yesterday. If he is not able to bat in his home ground imagine what will he to in the ICC event abroad.

Rohit's T20 format in particular has been declining like since 2019 and also IPL too but still he can be destructive anyday so I still take a bet with him for some reasons maybe the experience I guess and bowlers will become clueless if he starts connecting the balls which no one can deny.

I earlier thought that the burden of captaincy is responsible for his decline as a batter. After watching him in IPL it is now evident that it is an overall decline or he is not much involved in net practice. His selection of shots and his timing has gone down as most of the time he gets out by getting caught. His technique is still top class but his overconfidence is not helping him at all as a batter.
214  Local / India / Re: ED seize and possess funds from scam is new and unexpected! on: May 04, 2024, 10:13:15 AM
Indian get easily lured by the temptations of either earning quick money or earning high interest. In most cases related to scam in India before crypto became popular earning high interest from investment has always been the popular way of scamming. Scammers started using crypto as a way getting rich quickly when Bitcoin for the very first time reached $21K. They scammed, many scammers escaped a few got caught. Now they have started converting thier bad money to crypto and keeping them safe on exchanges but they forgot these exchanges are now cooperative with the government.
215  Local / India / Re: Sell your crypto without bank freeze issue. on: May 04, 2024, 09:59:21 AM
Hello everyone.

If you want to sell your crypto without getting your bank account freeze.

We can help you we will transfer 100% safe money through current account.
We don't trade through p2p.

Quite interesting and many here will be interested with your offer. But, first can you please elaborate or provide more details about how it will be done. I understand if you are using current account then it is not that easy to transfer dirty money. That is the only part that is clear to but you have not mentioned the overall process.
216  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 04, 2024, 09:40:09 AM

Another controversy that erupted as soon as the World Cup squad was announced was the appointment of Hardik Pandya as the Vice Captain of the squad. Ajit Agarkar has now come out with the reason why Hardik Pandya was the given the responsibility. He said 'no replacement for Hardik Pandya'. I think there were replacement

As of now there is no replacement for Hardik on one scale level, Dube can bowl a couple of overs but definitely he is not in the level of Hardik. But I don't feel Hardik should be your third seamer either he should be considered as an option when one bowler is having an off day which can happen to anyone but the current team combination Hardik is the third seamer for sure but if he has to sit out due to injury then the entire team combination has to be changed like what happened in ODI WC.

217  Local / India / Re: Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty in Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Scam on: May 03, 2024, 06:11:48 AM

Don't you think Shilpa Shetty isn't aware of his husband's frauds. Raj Kundra is a fraud person and Shilpa is aware of all of his deeds.
Why do you think Shilpa is still with this guy? She could have very well divorced him long ago but chose not to do so.
Even after the recent porn case, Shilpa and Raj are still married. Some way or the other Shilpa is still involved with his frauds.
2017 was the year for frauds. So many frauds happened in the name of ICOs while bitcoin was at an ATH.
No wonder Raj took advantage of it and filled his pockets with bitcoins.

Yes she is aware of all those frauds but she might not be able to leave him due to other reasons. Maybe Raj makes more money through his fraudulent activities which helps Shilpa Shetty to live a kind of life like we see in the media. I personally don't think she is involved in all these activities.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything on: May 03, 2024, 06:01:32 AM
It makes sense because the growing hype for meme coins means that meme coin transactions also continue to increase, and this results in network fees also increasing. and of course utility altcoins are also impacted by the increase in transaction fees. In my opinion, this is a problem that cannot be avoided because one of the disadvantages of cryptocurrencies is that transaction fees often change (depending on transaction density).

High transaction fees wasn't a periodic issue before meme coins hype. For example the Bitcoin network a few days back was completely congested due to ordinals meme coins. The fee went so high that it was impossible to make small amount transactions. Thankfully it has gone down considerably but the issue still prevails and happens periodically. I saw the same problem happening on Solana. They are facing the same network congestion problem due to meme coins.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This GameFi would take over the crypto gaming space on: May 03, 2024, 04:28:50 AM
If you can point out that particular unique selling proposition in this that we have missed out probably then it'll be very beneficial for us.

These guys will never answer any queries as they are only here to spam the board and promote the gaming project. I assume they have been paid to do it and that is why the avoid having any conversation on their thread. They themselves might not be aware about the details of this gaming platform. What they are feed by the owners of the project they are using those to promote it.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: arb to eth? on: May 03, 2024, 03:59:34 AM
ARB is a native ERC20 of Arbitrum blockchain which is designed to improve Ethereum scaling issue. USDT is again an ERC20 token which is using Ethereum blockchain. All ERC 20 tokens need Ethereum which acts as a gas to run on it's blockchain. In your case you will need Ethereum in your wallet to complete the swap.

No incorrect. The native token on Arbitrium is ETH, which is used for gas on the ARB network. The token is used for other things but not to pay gas fees.

Most chains use ETH for gas, except Polygon which uses Matic.

The op just needs to withdraw some ETH from some exchange and use that to swap his ARB to ETH and then use that to buy BTC and by BTC I mean the wrapped WBTC since you can’t own BTC on any blockchain that isn’t bitcoin.

Okay! Thanks for correcting me. I thought ARB was the token that is used to run Arbitrum ecosystem. As it is an ERC20 just like others it will need Ethereum as gas. I was not aware of it and thanks for clarifying it.
