I asked multiple questions in your ad in the market place area... Are you going answer them there?

I'm guessing by the lack of response to this post and the fact that the OP only has 5 posts that this is not a real offer?

or

some thing like this i run my own proxy on two PIs one for sha256 and one for Scrpt mining  and could not get them to work on a Http port , so i had to run it thu the startum port .

bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://your PC address like this 1092.168.1.12:3333 -u x -p x --generate-to 1QBajsQ8wGHkBgJEhHikKvm1kqvtJdYE53

but there is more soft ware I'm sure you may need, just not sure what it is.

I already have the BitCoin Core wallet configured, I'm just trying to use BFGMiner as a stratum connection to the wallet as well as a proxy for all of my AntMiner hardware.  I was just trying to see if my configuration was correct as my diff was 1/1...  It's cool, I'm just hashing on CKPool anyway now.

Where are these shipping from?
209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: August 26, 2015, 12:50:18 AM
I don't understand why I had one unit hashing for literally months and once I add 2 units they all zombie out within a few hours of each other. I have yet to have all three units last more than 30 hours without them going ZOMBIE. It seems like it's a driver issue.

Most places that you already have a relationship with (work for instance) won't mind you running a tiny S3 under your desk

You've never worked anywhere with an IT department it would seem.  Lips sealed

"What do you mean you want to use a non-company issued mouse?!"

LOL! No, I WAS the IT department. In that case just ask your supervisor and not the IT guys. "Hey, do you mind if I plug in a small personal computer here too? It's only about 1 ft by 6 inches and it'll fit under my desk. They'll say yes and you mine away. The end. It doesn't need to be complicated.

I'm the ITO for a privately held pharmaceutical company. I can tell you that it's not the IT person or your direct supervisor that has the right to grant you access to corporate resources, something like this is in the realm of the person that signs your paychecks and also pays the organizations bills.  Your supervisor could be terminate for allowing you to use corporate resources.

but there are ways around that by mining at work, mining at a hospital, an outdoor outlet somewhere,

Oh, you mean by stealing it?  Uh, no.

That's exactly what I said... you can actually be prosecuted for theft of electricity.

I suppose it's better to rent rigs individually on MRR instead, honestly I stay away from Nicehash.
You run into the problem regardless of which rental site you utilize.  You are placing the trust in the rig owners and the rental site operators not to have malicious intent.  As Phil's example above shows, I can very easily guarantee that you and I would both get paid, but make the pool suffer.  Or as the case would be here in a solo pool, I can guarantee that I get paid, and you don't.

Ultimately, it's up to you to decide whether or not you trust the operators enough to pay them to utilize their gear.  Are there going to be people out there looking to scam you?  Always.  Are there also people out there who are providing an honest service?  Absolutely.

Exactly this. The only way to trust your results is to buy your own equipment. Seriously, it's not that expensive anymore. The chief concern is electricity cost, but there are ways around that by mining at work, mining at a hospital, an outdoor outlet somewhere, or using alternative energy. You can get free solar panels in some states. There's no reason not to save that gambled money and just buy your own miners anymore.

Be aware that there is such a thing as "Theft of Electricity" that you can be be charged as a crime with and terminated from employment.

Hey Luke,

Thanks for your reply.  So I can run just:

Code:
bfgminer.exe --stratum-port 8330

I'm missing something doing it this way, I get bad address.

I just pointed my S1, S3 and S5's at the pool, do I have to do anything with the difficulty or should I be good to go?  I'm not going through a proxy, each is pointed directly at the pool.

I have 10 S1/S3 that I'd be interested in upgrading.
219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: August 23, 2015, 09:08:16 PM
Hi I am planning to buy 3 of these? but I have doubts since there aint much of discussion or popularity for this gears.

Take that money and buy a used S3+ instead.  It will hash faster and be way less of a head ache.

I could never get more than 1 to run at the same time, let alone 3 at once.

This is great advice, you can pick up a S3 on eBay for under 150 and they just work.
