You can't ask anybody to stop promoting the project, It doesn't work like that. I thought IEO is the best way to stop scammer for now because a lot of scam project usually they give you token but never release on any exchange. but there is a project that doesn't even give you any token, but you can't really do anything about that.

This is a bitter experience, actually yours is somehow worst version of mine. I knew about BTC in the year 2015 and my greatest regret is not putting all savings which worth around 1000$ into it. If am not mistaken, my 1000$ should have turned to 20k$ or more today. It's really something I can't forget easily
