201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Cash Mount A Real challenge To Ripple and Ethereum on: September 18, 2019, 01:40:01 AM
I saw this article about the vision of the team to make BCH number 2 or 3 according by market cap. How possible is it to beat ETH and XRP? https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/bitcoin-cash-gears-up-for-dominance-after-bitcoin/`

Anything can happen in the market including BCH can also be number 1 but to reach number 2 or 3, I think BCH takes a long time. There are several coins that can become competitors, one of which is BNB or EOS.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An indisputable proof that bitcoin is fake money on: September 18, 2019, 01:36:26 AM
~
I feel sorry for you guys. You are the victims of a modern investment scam and it is hard to accept such reality. But, acting irrational won't make this reality go away. You cannot compare the ownership of a virtual address and a number (Bitcoin) with ownership of a company or a commodity. It's irrational. Fantasizing about the great future of fake money is also irrational. I created this topic to provide a simple logical argument that shows why bitcoin is fake money. But you all just ignore this argument and repeate the same old fantasies that have nothing to do with it. I'd prefer you either stuck to the topic or not bother commenting. Thanks.

What you say is not new, and has been stated for years by bankers, government officials and many others. Yet many people have been using BTC as money all this time, buying with it airline tickets, luxury cars, houses etc.

In fact, anything can be money if enough people believe in it. Don't be like an American tourist in a market in Mumbai shouting at vendors who accept Indian rupee: "Why are you selling your goods for these pieces of paper? It's not money! Only US dollar is money!" It's ridiculous.
Beliefs are not economic categories. You cannot believe in money. Money is either commodity (gold, silver, copper, salt, tea, shells, alcohol, cigarettes, silk, candy, nails, cocoa beans, cowries..) or an item representing some entitlement -- to a specified amount of gold(good certificate) or to goods and services of borrowers(Dollar). I explained in the OP how these entitlements are realized. Commodities and entitlements are capable of performing the primary function of money and that is why they are real money. In the OP I also explained how said function is performed. Bitcoin is a numerical mark in a memory and as such in is not capable of performing the primary function of money. So even if all the world believed in it, Bitcoin would not be money.

From what I know, Bitcoin has never claimed to be money but a peer to peer payment instrument. This is clearly different because money reflects the trust of users of money to the issuer of money, namely the Government or the Central Bank and must be accepted by citizens. While Bitcoin is trusted by its users only and because the transaction has begun to grow, the Government takes a middle ground by calling it a digital asset.

In my opinion, the term money currently in use has also gone off track because in its nature money is a medium of exchange and it is agreed by both parties to carry out transactions and Bitcoin can be categorized as money if this term is used because both believe in the value of Bitcoin but because the Government only recognizes money issuance, the Government calls it an asset
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is 1st then? Other Alts? on: September 18, 2019, 01:24:34 AM
I don't know what metrics you are using here. I'm confident you are also aware of market capitalization.

What You think wich coins are competing with Ethereum?
There are many. EOS, Cardano, Neo, Waves, Stellar, Tron just to name a few. More and more next "Ethereum Killer" will come out.

don't forget about BNB, because now BNB run on its own chain
so, Binance coin now a part from "ethereum killers" group mate, maybe this coin is the strongest competitors from ethereum
because a lot of project move from ethereum blockchain to Binance chain

Besides BNB Coin, there is also EOS which also has the potential to compete with ethereum. BNB Coin and EOS in my opinion have the opportunity to rank 2 in coin marketcap because the value of transactions continues to grow and has their respective advantages
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: September 17, 2019, 01:02:06 AM
I still rooting for XRP, BTC, ETH, and BNB. Because this coins has the most influential among the others when it comes in price BTC but when I'm looking for faster transaction XRP and ETH are more users preferred then having a BNB are also a good choice because everyone know that Binance are on the top exchange.

The four coins you mentioned are the top 10 on coinmarketcap.com. In my opinion, Ethereum will still be able to survive and maybe the price will continue to rise even though at this time ethereum is starting to have many competitors
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: September 17, 2019, 12:58:59 AM

Lately, there is a big buzz and fuzz on the introduction of the new cryptocurrency (some called it as fake) called as Libra which is under the leadership and influence of the people behind the Facebook social media conglomerate. What resembled like a circus, politicians and other known personalities expressed apprehension that what Libra can bring will put the global financial and economic system under jeopardy and control of a select few men which I assumed the public don't trust.

But I am wondering...is Libra really that potent that it can disrupt the currency financial system or are these people just imagining things which will never happen anyway? Are we ascribing power and influence on Mark Zuckerberg that can turn out to be a dud later?

If Libra Coin really exists, people will prefer to use Libra because it is faster and also without using a third party such as a bank. This might make people think Libra coin will be able to disrupt the monetary system because the current monetary system depends on the central bank in spurring economic growth
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: September 17, 2019, 12:54:26 AM
Is the service and profitability, even if bitcoin is highly volatile, are the only two reasons why bitcoin is attractive to investors? Any good opinions or answers? Thanks

In my opinion, the price of Bitcoin is expensive because investors believe that the bitcoin network cannot be hacked or the data transactions cannot be duplicated. Bitcoin which was originally made as a peer to peer payment instrument has been transformed into a digital asset and maybe this is why we have to invest in bitcoin
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Dev not shit coin on: September 17, 2019, 12:51:13 AM
A lot of alarm has been raised on shit coins which have become a concern to many in the crypto sphere, but i feel our attention should be on the shit developer rather talk about the shit coins. The reason why we have shit coins all over is because the number of shit developers has increased to the maximum, i guess it is time to begin to publish the names of shit developers on the forum in order to do some justice to the crypto sphere.

Agree, coins can be made by anyone but bad intentions from the developer team that makes a coin into shitcoin. Without making a project that can produce a product, they can fool many people with large amounts of money and they should be jailed
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: September 16, 2019, 08:49:45 AM
It is almost impossible to believe that after developing a good project which might likely succeed because of the product, some so-called developers and teams will still go ahead and list in a shit exchange all in the name of reducing the listing fund or all in the name of no fund to list in the big exchange, if you cannot afford good exchange, why not continue with the development of the project to be able to attract the right investors, why rush to a shit exchange. So many projects that could have succeeded have been buried by shit exchange, and if you care to know, you are the reason why we still have shit exchange because the owners of shit exchange knew that some daft developers and team will surely come and list their projects. Why will someone prepare a good meal and then decide to keep it in a cabinet full of cockroaches? Wake up.

Actually there are many projects that do not do tokensale and can be listed on large exchangers. RavenCoin, for example, does not process the sale of coins but can register on Binance. In my opinion, a listing at a large exchanger can be done without requiring large funds as long as the project is good and has prospects
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: September 16, 2019, 08:46:29 AM
Because the cryptocurrency situation is currently not the same as before. So I want to ask all of you in here, so that I don't lose money in investing. Which do you think is better, buy when ico / ieo / tokensale and get a bonus or buy when it is listed in the public exchange/market at a low price? I personally prefer to participate in the tokensale but see the current situation, when a token / coin list in the market is cheap, this makes me very confused to invest. How about you? Can you share your mind and help me out my confused

With the current conditions in the market, I think it is more profitable to buy tokens at exchangers. Many new projects whose prices have fallen on the initial listing and I think it is risky if we buy tokens at tokensale.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bonuses are only to deceive people on: September 16, 2019, 08:41:59 AM
Bonuses are not intended to deceive investors. Giving out bonuses is a strategy adopted by every business not only cryptocurrency projects to boost sales. This is the main reason behind the bonuses projects offer during their token sales. And as the sales get to its close, the bonuses are lifted gradually hence it becomes an early bird catch tactics.
Well they really deceive people why? because giving bonuses in order to attract new investors even the whole project is a shit or pump and dump scam. this would lead their investor's losses since IEOs are pretty much pump and dump after the token sale since the tokens are already listed in exchanges unlike in ICOs although this will a good strategy for the company if they have a managed to convince people that have a good project that promises a good outcome. I also think that bonuses will result only on more pump and dump as investors sold their tokens after the IEO and the exchange opens them.

I think the big bonus cannot be said as an indication of a pump and dump project. In IEO there are sometimes new projects that provide bonuses so that investors are interested in investing. Big bonuses are common in marketing new projects and I think the pump and dump project depends on the developer team, whether they will produce a product or not.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: September 16, 2019, 08:38:46 AM
Simply not join ICOs as you say most of ICOs is scam, ( i say most not all).

Actually, that is the very simple solution to these scam ICOs. If investors will stop supporting them, I don't think they will launch their fake projects. But unfortunately, there are still crypto believers that somehow they firmly believe that there are still good projects that they can invest with. But as for me, I have stopped investing in ICOs a long time already. Been screwed twice in these ICOs before. And that were my hard lesson for believing that dev team can fulfil their promises and they will truly implement their objectives.

At this time, almost ICO has changed to IEO and the sales process through exchangers. This is already a step forward because with the exchanger involved in the sales process, it will avoid the risk of scam, besides the listing process will be faster because it has been negotiated from the start.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's Have Been Getting EXPOSED! Finally... on: September 11, 2019, 09:05:09 AM
it is undeniable that many ICOs have ended up with fraud and their tokens have become junk, in this case I take the example that recently happened is miracletele. they have cheated many investors including prize hunters who buy their tokens on the exchange. tens of thousands of dollars have been washed away and ico's reputation has been destroyed. 2018-2019 is not a good year for ICO projects

Therefore ICO began to be avoided by investors. Now ICO has changed its face to IEO and it is better not to reoccur ICO scam events like 2018, we better do research on a project and most importantly the developer team behind it
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware of the new exchange's IEO! on: September 11, 2019, 09:01:52 AM
Agreed, those low tier, low volume exchanges are approving IEO submissions from totally obscure projects, a lot of them may well be scams or just blatant money grabs. Luckily most of them fails to collect any significant amount of funds, so only a few people is getting burned by them.

It is better to avoid IEO held by small exchangers because the available liquidity is also small. IEO or ICO is basically speculation and it's better to speculate in a large exchanger because with a large transaction volume, it gives an opportunity for price increases
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 11, 2019, 08:58:29 AM
Last three months of the Year 2019 (4th quarter)is fast approaching! Do you think the market condition will be improve in the last three months of the year! are you still positive that the market will be gaining momentum to return its former status as it was before or just missing all the prediction in this year. drop your insight below!

It is difficult to predict and predict market movements in the last 4 months of 2019. All parties certainly hope that there is a good movement in the market that will bring profits but the market is still hit by uncertainty because the dominance of bitcoin is still too strong
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: charge fee for IEO listings on: September 11, 2019, 08:54:06 AM
so  any one know what is  Fee and requirments   for IEO listing on exchanges  like latoken ,gate, binance , okex, houbi , bittrex  ,bitmax and other top IEO platforms?

pls share your experience

Information like this is usually only owned by the developer team of a new project and the exchanger itself. It is difficult to know the value of listing fees because all parties are exposed to the disclosure rules which can result in legal action
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think advisors help new projects? on: September 10, 2019, 01:24:11 AM
Of course, they do! I have seen some project who hadn't good partners nor good updates, but they raised their all-cap only because they had good known advisors. But if your project is not good enough, then famous advisors can't help you. Roger Var is an advisor of Livenpay and Azbit projects and both projects suffered a lot!
Moreover, influential advisors in cryptocurrency must always be used as a reference, speculation is often used as a basis for analysis. Projects supported by influential advisors will definitely have a higher appeal, of course, it will be in vain if it is not supported by the strategy and quality of the project, as you explained. Conversely, a strong project, a good strategy and product, will certainly provide a good image as well and will automatically attract market interest, even without a special advisor.

An experienced advisor in the world of cryptocurrency will certainly help a project to survive amid the intense competition in new coins. In addition, a well-known advisor can attract many investors and also provide guidance on how a product is created and marketed
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 10, 2019, 01:20:03 AM
Maybe this will be a very small problem when you do not care about the development of Satoshi Nakamoto. There are too many people who provide information about Satoshi. And if in the record they will only take advantage of the big-name Bitcoin founder.

I focus more on Bitcoin development and trade and investment that can give me a profit. And it would be more profitable than we argue who Satoshi Nakamoto...

Agree, I'm more interested in the development of bitcoin in the future than knowing who exactly Satoshi is. Knowing who Satoshi actually might actually be can make investor confidence will decrease because investors tend to think Satoshi will only sell the bitcoin he has.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple transfer 500 million XRP tokens to its Escrow wallet on: September 10, 2019, 01:15:06 AM
On September 3, the Ripple community has been greeted with the news that Ripple has made another huge transaction transferring 500 million XRP tokens from the Ripple Escrow Wallet to Ripple. Crypto enthusiasts, coin traders, and XRP investors have differing opinions on this move. Others perceive this negatively by stating accusations about Ripple’s price control agenda through the dumping of XRP tokens.

500 million XRP coins is not more than 0.5% of the total supply in the market and I think it will not greatly affect the market price. Even though I am not interested in XRP, but with the price of XRP which is quite cheap right now, I think this is the right time to accumulate and hold it.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: September 10, 2019, 01:06:07 AM
Eth will still moon regardless of success in IEO or not.
The whole cryptocurrency market is down and if you study the coinmarketcap closely you will notice that ethereum price always goes up when the market is going up.
As regards IEOs i will only advice that you do IEO after making extensive research and only go for IEOs on reputable exchanges as a lot of scam exchange are also doing IEO already
They will all moon when there is a bull market, just like last bull market, ETH moon because ICO is very popular but there are a lot of altcoins as well that also follow the flow, and there are some shitcoins as well which pump, dump and then died at that time.

Therefore, we cannot underestimate ETH's capacity here because it still has a lot of supporter, and being in the number 2 would explain it already how big its support base. When altcoins season starts, I am expecting ETH to be one of the leaders to have its big increase in the market.

Agree, ethereum is still one of the coins with the biggest transactions and also with the biggest market cap value after bitcoin. ICO has a big influence on ethereum demand but with the change of ICO to IEO, ethereum demand from investors to invest in projects will decrease because almost all exchangers require exchangers' tokens to participate
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The cost of running a bounty? on: September 09, 2019, 01:12:07 AM
Running a bounty can't be cheap. For every person participating you have to pay a fee. For telegram and airdrops, how do the devs afford it?

10k airdrops at 1 cent is $100 just for one round. That sounds costly to me. I also doubt a transfer would be so little as 1 cent.

What makes me wonder even more is how do devs that give up on their projects or let them die still pay out their bounty? Some scams even payout their scam coin which must cost them 100s of $$

Is there something I am missing? is mass sending eth tokens cheaper then I think? Maybe someone with some experience in send to multiple eth addresses knows. You also need to use a special service or have the know-how to send to multi addresses as well.

When the developer team holds a bounty program and also an airdrop, they have a goal to introduce the project in the hope that an investor will enter. I think they have calculated how much they spend and what they will get. They pay with their own tokens and it is cheap because they make it themselves, while investors are disadvantaged because they buy with coins that are already on the market and have value
