Did you get the tokens free ? If you received the tokens without cost / free, it will be hard to expect something from that kind of tokens. Let the token stay in your wallet because you never know what will happening later. Sometimes there are scam tokens like that, they lock the token in your address and ask you to send your money to unlock and be able to transfer your token.

We should not investing in any projects based only from the hype because scammers can use it, luring people to buy their project.
Hype is not bad, but hype alone is no different than other scam projects, hype + real use case project is the key to become a success project. DeFi project is good, but if only it is not a fraud one.

We will never know who will dump the token when the campaign over, not only the team but it could be the people who participate on their ICO/IEO too. My advice, if you already received the payment and see the price of the token is very low, don't sell it yet. If the project is great, it will become a great project in the future and the price of the token will bounce back although the current price is still low, i have seen several projects like that.

That is not a bad idea, the price of the token won't be dumped if the project pay bounty hunters with stable coin.
But when there is a bounty campaign that pay in stable coin, then many participants will join and the reward will become smaller unless the bounty payment based on fixed rate.

What is the name of the exchange ? Are you sure the coin was listed only on that exchange ?
I think it is risky to buy some unpopular altcoins on unfamiliar exchange because if something bad happen, we may not be able to sell it.
We better buy altcoin which has been listed on several exchanges so the liquidity of the coin is not too low.

Most "Get rich quick" schemes are not investment, but just a ponzi scheme.
Cryptocurrency is not ponzi, and there is no quick way to get rich from it because crypto project will need time to progressing.
When the project already big and success, massive adoption will happening and the investors can gain the profit at that time.

I lost more than 2 ETH to this scam exchange. Fake exchanges like this further demonstrates that there's a need for regulatory framework for if CEX would continue to have a part to play in the future of blockchain crypto-economy, else decentralized exchanges remain the future. I hope we can actually have a true DEX in the nearest future. Anyway Injective Protocol is pushing to be the first end-to-end decentralized exchange with high transaction throughput too.
That said, I'd be happy if those scammers behind Bcnex scam are apprehended.
I have been loosing 1 ETH on this crap exchange and i were only sending 1 ethereum as a trial amount to check the reputation of this exchange site. The dex is still having the same chance like the CEX to become another exit scam project if that dex was created by scammer. Im sorry to hear that, you should sending no more than 0.01 ETH to first using any new exchange. BCNEX still maintenance for now and we will never know when they finish. After all, what do we expect from new vietnam exchange ? Im losing faith to any new exchange now because many new exchanges were not good. |

The token sometime doesn't have value on Ethplorer because Etherscan usually detect the exchange that list the token faster than Ethplorer.
Both of them are popular ethereum explorer but i prefer to using etherscan because im get used to it.
I usually use etherscan to see the gas price before send eth or tokens, so my transaction won't be stuck because the gas is too low.

I think we must start with their whitepaper because most scam project just copied other project's whitepaper.
After whitepaper, search their website and we will find some copied contents too. Plagiarism is one of the signs of scam project which is often accurate.

Yes we should avoid self moderated bounty thread because usually they want to cover their red flags, unless you know who they are. Some top bounty managers are self moderating their thread to reduce spams which is a good thing. Hunters should join the campaign on normal thread, so they can raise questions freely. |

I you have a great project, then you should list IEO on the top reputable exchange, otherwise people will think your project is not worth.
Listing on top exchange IEO means the dev is very serious to run the project, without playing with investor's money.

although they ask to focus on the whitepaper no one will be able to find the private key from the wallet, imagine how one can compose a private key by finding it in a whitepaper that may consist of 5000 words First hint they told people to follow the roadmap, and now they told people to focus on the whitepaper. I think newcomers who buy new altcoin wants to speculating, which is very risky indeed.
Like you said before, most of new altcoins are created to steal others money, unless we really know about the project of the coin.
Top altcoins like ETH, BNB, or others top 10 are safer, you won't lose your money too much if the price going down, but its need time to gain profit because the value is already high.
