I will probably have 1001+ posts by tomorrow or the day after that.  Smiley

I'm near to 500 posts. If you reach a new level within a week do you get paid the corresponding amount on the next Sunday or only the Sunday after that? Huh

Hi tinus42, sorry for the delayed response. So if you reach a new level, you will be paid at the new higher amount that coming Sunday Smiley, no need to wait for the next week for your pay rises!!!  Cheesy

Seal is the man!

Thanks Smiley

And yes, for those posting questions about how many posts they need, its in the original post under the terms. 100 posts to participate please.

Before I add the sig, can you confirm If I am eligible with current sigs? (note: the bottom one is being removed in a couple days)

If you want to join, you have to delete all other paid ads.

This is why I ask, because he said existing sigs were fine, and I'm uncertain if he's referring to the paid per week/moth sigs or the contest sigs, or actually both. Smiley

[edit; worst case scenario, I come back and add it in a couple weeks]

Both. Id rather not have my site promoted next to a bright casino/betting sig. They make my eyes hurt.

Its purely a personal preference. I dont mind other sigs as long as they're reasonably tidy.

I like your program over others exactly because your ads aren't an eyesore. I think they will work better for you than the flashy ads. Just like Google Adsense uses plaintext ads and gets great results. Speaking as someone who both advertised with Google and ran Google ads. Smiley

Thats exactly what I'm going for. Clean, informative and un-intrusive.

Hey Greg,

Just wanted to say I have nothing but respect for those with the guts to offer more investment options for the community. There is no doubt in my mind that with your intellect you will overcome any challenges that you may face.

That is a mindblowing OP that shows you have literally thought of every base. Even if the unanticipated happens - and hey, it will (its bitcoin after all), its reassuring to know that somebody who has the credentials that you have is behind it.

To diversify my investments I'd happily invest a few bitcoins into this. Sign me up.

210  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTC.sx - Leveraged trading made easy on: August 05, 2013, 12:10:52 PM
I just opened an account and i dont feel comfortable without stops and limits. Margin trading NEEDS these options when trading because there is no way someone can sleep happy without stops.

Also a public trades history would be nice, and of course an orderbook

Nothing wrong with stops and limits.  These are mandatory though, maybe they can improve it and let the users set their own.

Hey there siulynot. Thanks for the feedback. A few users have requested this feature now and it is on our todo list so watch this space.

The trading volume has been steadily growing and is keeping us very busy lately. I'm working on growing the physical aspect of the business and will be committing to the full time development of it soon with other aspects such as an office space, full incorporation and staff coming soon.

Marketing the site and communicating what we do in a clear way has been challenging for me, I appreciate it could be a lot better. Its work in progress so I thank everybody for their patience and for the kind words of encouragement the users have left.

Hi all,

Apologies for the delay to this weeks payout. Here they are:

Thank you for participating this week.

A warm welcome to the new advertisers. Please consider leaving some trust feedback on the link to the left <------

The list has grown quite large now so if you are hoping to get involved, I'd recommend jumping on the bandwagon sooner rather than later! At some point I'll be stopping new signups to keep things manageable.

Thanks for removing your other sponsored links (what an eyesore).

And for those who are curious and to give a little transparency: BTC.sx is getting around 300 hits a week through your signature promotions  Grin!

Here are this weeks payouts:

Thanks for participating.

For those who have multiple paid signatures, please remove the others if you would like to participate. I'm not keen on sharing signature space with those brightly coloured casino ads.

For new participants, remember that payouts are for complete weeks starting from Sundays.

218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charities accepting Bitcoin on: July 22, 2013, 04:10:59 AM
Hi all,

I'd like to get a better idea of how wide the adoption rate is for Charitable giving using Bitcoin. If you know of a Charity accepting bitcoin can you post it below.

I'm hoping to use this information to put together a portal for those who would like to use their bitcoins for Charitable giving.

For larger charitable organisations (who are reluctant to use bitcoin) I would like to use a payment integration service to forward fiat donations from the portal directly to the charity of choice.
i was working on a btc charitable mining pool/donation funding site earlier this year. Ended up calling it quits after my fourth failed 'developer'. I still have the framework and all the legwork that went into it. If i can be of help, or assist, please let me know.

Hi Rawted, yeah I'd love to hear more details about it.

While I support the efforts of bitcoin backed charities, I'd rather forward any bitcoin donations to already established organisations.

If I am opening a thread or taking part in discussion, I'll get the 14 in a couple days, no prob. But some weeks, specially these sideways trading days, I find myself with nothing really good to post and will end up posting a stupid one-liner just to get the quota.

This is not good for the forum. If all signature ads start paying this same way, we will soon have a highly degraded forum.

I agree and disagree. There are many sub forums where you can add plenty of value with 'one-liner' posts quickly and easily. The Newbie and Off-Topic sub forums do not require a huge amount of intellectual discussion, knowledge or debate to add value (without trolling).

I have no problem with people posting in there and do not expect PHD quality research for each of your 14 posts.

P.s. To existing participants, please do not feel obliged to write 14 posts every week if you can't. Its ok to miss out on a weekly payout, your names will be kept on the list for weeks when you are active.
