Maybe another 1btc bonus today to encourage people to take advantage of the low rental prices? You can get hash at .0028 today. Just a thought.
|
|

Great prices to rent hash, get a bunch at .0027 now.....
Going in for more

I'm getting ready to rent some hashing power The price looks good right now, does anybody want to match me? let's find that block!!! Wish I had seen this last night... I would have played . No time like the present, however. As soon as the coin confirms, I'll put up 1PH for the next 16 hours or so. Already 2.5 deep on rentals, going in for another .5 to make it 3BTC. Hope to this gets us a block to ROI!

I changed the password and am unfamiliar with how to perform _test url resolv-ability and port accessibility_ miner is still not kicking onI am trying to connect 2 s4 and 1 s5 to kano.is and cannot get my rigs to connect/register after the save and apply with stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333. Please advise
the url is correct. initial check: double check the username. set the password to "x". next check: test url resolv-ability and port accessibility. Yes , I'm on and it was the extra space. It's great to be here. @Kano and @VRobb After tripping breakers for the last 20 mins or so , I have all 3 machines running in a 1 bedroom apt. @Kano and @PPOS is this the API key I found in settings If you create an account and use your account name, you will get more stats and you could use your API key on https://ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com to get even more data and setup worked, block and hash rate alerts. Just a suggestion, Yes, the API key is under ACCOUNT then USER SETTINGS. The Key and your account name is what is needed for ckpoolmonitor. The user name is what our created your Kano account with and also what you mine with username.workername with worker name being anything you want. Hope that helps

And now for the details of the March results of the AVALON6 GIVEAWAY Firstly, the April competition has started, with the same rules as March. The March rule changes were here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg14042677#msg14042677The provisional March high and low winners are: Block #698 StevenD with a CDF of 0.963 (330.466%) at 2016-03-27 18:43:23 UTCand Block #694 sercinsabri with a CDF of 0.051 (5.279%) at 2016-03-26 04:49:55 UTCNow as per the rules, the Avalon6 winner is chosen from these 2 by the value of the first network block hash in April UTC The last March and first April blocks according to the pool were: [2016-04-01 10:46:34.731] Block hash changed to 000000000000000003532be135e917df7d1d5c7deff5ffc16d346f6a8b9f323c [2016-04-01 11:10:08.882] Block hash changed to 00000000000000000077f2ec2992699287ae7c1b7a15e1d113048875b4f4eaef
Timezone there is +11 so no difficulty deciding which block it was. The April (2nd) one was block 405179 and as you can see ended on the right with an 'f' so it's odd (not even) And 'odd' means that the winner of the Avalon6 is the lowest CDF which is: Block #694 sercinsabri with a CDF of 0.051 (5.279%) at 2016-03-26 04:49:55 UTCThe runner up with my fee for the 1st April block (#720 Block 405191 - 0.1271652BTC) is: Block #698 StevenD with a CDF of 0.963 (330.466%) at 2016-03-27 18:43:23 UTC Would not mind to see the rules changed to track the highest share of a solved block for the month, hehe. Mine was a 8.56T

1.2T share... could have solved a couple more blocks with that one Very nice. Saw the email and hoped it was me cause I found a block on Kano today and that would have been epic to get 2 in one day on 2 pools! The share on my Kano block was 8.5T, excellent work Jonny! Maybe next one. How big was the rental you did that hit the block?

Block by dsppage with 103.6THs! This is his 2nd kano block!
Block Friday and we are starting to fill in the contest list for the Avalon6!
Always nice to get a block here, always appreciated unlike other pools! Thats actually my 4th block since I started mining April of 2015.

Wow what an overnight. Love it.
yeah and I hit on my other pool which means about 5 coins for me What pool?

I just noticed that one of my Avalon 6s mined a 40,381,314,690 share here today. Nice, but not nice enough!
I just noticed I hit a nearly 4 trillion share. Wish the contest was based on share difficulty I think I would have a shot. What batch s7 is that? running at 731 with low err rates and avg 4.8+? What PSU you using? I have not had much luck OC'ing the newer batches. I am only OC'ing batch 1-6 with pretty good results.

Well, there used to be retrocalc.net but it's dead. I have a program that I wrote that does basically the same thing... It's not online, it's on my laptop. However, if you want to send me the dates (start/end) and hash rates, I'll return the expected earnings for you.
Excellent, appreciate the help. I'll send you the dates and miners via PM. Thanks,

Nice block action kicking in! But a question a little off topic, I have a bunch of miners that I got at different times and I'm trying to see which ones are close to ROI (if thats possible), not factoring power costs. Just strait earnings on each miner vs. what I paid for the HW. I know I can use a Excel sheet to figure that out, but wanted to see if anyones knows of a website calculator that looks at the PPS earnings historically to calculate earnings? I know I made more here then PPS and I can use ZACH's site to get my total's but I want to look at it per miner. Want to plug in the date I put it in service and its' hash rate and then have it tell me what the box made to date.
If anyone knows of such an online tool, please let me know. BTW - Been on Kano since June 18,2015 but I'm looking to calculate ROI on HW since October 2015
Thanks,
I don't really need to calculate based on Kano payment per miner, I'm just looking for an online calculator that looks at PPS payment X hash rate historically based on actual past PPS values. Again, want to see what a specific miner has made (PPS) since a specific date till today.

Interesting that the pool luck is so good, they are getting 7-11 blocks a day with a little over 40PH. I see they are using CKpool code which we know is very good, but still avg 143% luck for last 50 blocks is pretty amazing. Has anyone tested with small hash to see if they pay? I just pointed a small rental to them to see if they are for real and payout. I'll post my results in a few days....
So I did a rental test with these guys, rented 10TH and funded .1358 for this rental. started 2016-03-03 13:11:59 and ended 2016-03-07 04:58:20. I got rewarded for blocks 401009 till 401722 (28 blocks rewarded). It took 4 blocks to ramp up to a block reward of .007 on avg. When rental ended it ramped down 5 blocks. I am pretty sure I had set my price as .0032 for this rental. Anyway, I added up all my rewards for this rental and should be getting .15252479 in total. So far I got 2 payments, .01333018 on 2016-03-04 16:25:56 https://blockchain.info/tx/9d2b6bd77b01ac0dde96aae193e78adf9be55c891a8378a273148fd9bd1236c6.10109333 on 2016-03-07 00:35:40 https://blockchain.info/tx/30cc6cfb040926cc82ace5ae093ac4fca6d719e4a446460412dd8f25e0e33c46Today is 3/11 and they still owe me .03810128. I will edit this post once I get the final payment. UPDATE: They paid the final balance on .03810128 on 2016-03-16 09:37:41 https://blockchain.info/tx/5d9bcf3a0737d2f5798ba6fbf29abf762885d8c526d386247668fd879cdddcb0Also, note that during my rental time the blocks hit were mostly under 100% diff with a few exceptions and when I checked luck for last 25 blocks before my rental ended it was around 120%. Anyway, no conclusion on my part other then they paid 2 of 3 payments, as for the "club" part of the business I can't say anything about that. This is only my mining results. But I have been mining on Kano since June 2015 and continue to do very well and would never switch, plus Kano is a pool you can trust 100%.
