all of these blocks made a test rental the other day (a bit higher than I should've gone) profitable!  (about .003 BTC since the rental was just over .01 BTC)

keep it coming!

Anyone who noticed?
There was an unplanned ckdb restart 45min ago (08:08 UTC)
No miners were affected as usual.
Just the web site with lots of '?' during the restart.

I was out at the time and alarms went off - ckdb restart was required to resolve it.
All OK again since 08:25 UTC

Only noticed because the API went down.

Yeah the api is the web site, so that's of course affected also.

The 1min pool hash rate peaked at 52PHs, but only now just finally dropping below 40PHs.

Edit: well all that Bitmain hardware that failed over, finally failed back.
Then 1 minute later ... Avalon miners to the rescue with a block Cheesy
Yay 12TMhCpLtAWNk8NiWDQ2FDxc9QYvUKWKVy

Edit2: and another avalon block in case anyone was wondering Cheesy

And now for the details of the March results of the AVALON6 GIVEAWAY Smiley

Firstly, the April competition has started, with the same rules as March.

The March rule changes were here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg14042677#msg14042677

The provisional March high and low winners are:

Block #698 StevenD with a CDF of 0.963 (330.466%) at 2016-03-27 18:43:23 UTC

and

Block #694 sercinsabri with a CDF of 0.051 (5.279%) at 2016-03-26 04:49:55 UTC

Now as per the rules, the Avalon6 winner is chosen from these 2 by the value of the first network block hash in April UTC
The last March and first April blocks according to the pool were:
Code:
[2016-04-01 10:46:34.731] Block hash changed to 000000000000000003532be135e917df7d1d5c7deff5ffc16d346f6a8b9f323c
[2016-04-01 11:10:08.882] Block hash changed to 00000000000000000077f2ec2992699287ae7c1b7a15e1d113048875b4f4eaef
Timezone there is +11 so no difficulty deciding which block it was.
The April (2nd) one was block 405179 and as you can see ended on the right with an 'f' so it's odd (not even)

And 'odd' means that the winner of the Avalon6 is the lowest CDF which is:
Block #694 sercinsabri with a CDF of 0.051 (5.279%) at 2016-03-26 04:49:55 UTC

The runner up with my fee for the 1st April block (#720 Block 405191 - 0.1271652BTC) is:
Block #698 StevenD with a CDF of 0.963 (330.466%) at 2016-03-27 18:43:23 UTC

Would not mind to see the rules changed to track the highest share of a solved block for the month, hehe. Mine was a 8.56T
